Shin immediately stood up, despite his injured body. He quickly pounced to hug Sheena.

"S-Sheena.."

Kim Shin mumbled. As, tears started to flow from the corner of his eyes.

"Eh?. Big Brother, what's wrong?."

Sheena confusedly asked his brother. As, she held the bowl of porridge tightly.

"Nothing, I'm just glad that you're fine."

Kim Shin answered. As, he hugged and sincerely looked at Sheena's eyes.

"Are you sure?"

Sheena still worriedly asked. She didn't know what's happening to his brother to act, like this.

Kim Shin only nodded his head still clinging tightly at Sheena.

"Okay, Please, take it easy. You're not fully healed yet. I made you a porridge. Please, eat this."

Sheena helped Kim Shin to lay back on the wooden bed.

"I'm really happy that you are completely fine, Sheena"

"It's all thanks to you big brother. Still, if you didn't bother the tease of Gran to me. You won't beaten badly"

Sheena thankfully replied.

"Huh? Didn't all of that happened few weeks ago?"

Kim shin asked in bafflement.

"What do you mean? You were beaten just last day"

Sheena answered. As, she looked at Kim Shin weirdly.

While on other hand, Kim Shin was shocked to know that he was backed onto the first day he woke up in this wooden hut. Until, he realized what's happening.

'So, it's a restart'

'Do I need to save Sheena?'

'But I should have already failed the test. Because, I failed to protect Sheena'

Kim Shin thought.

Looking at his brother whose in the deep thought.

"Big Brother, what are you thinking?"

Sheena curiously called Kim Shin.

"Ah, nothing. Let's eat"

Kim Shin quickly response. As, he smiled at Sheena.

Kim Shin tried to convince Sheena to leave the Village. It's the only thing he thought of to save her. Because, he just can't kill Gran, the only son of the Village Chief.

And he can't just wait for Gran and his friends to come to violate Sheena. He can't take to use Sheena as a bait, and he can't let any wrong move happen.

So, without any choice but to move out from the village. Kim Shin successfully convinced Sheena to run away from the village.

In the evening, at the outskirts of the village.

"Big brother, do we really need to do this?"

Sheena sadly questioned Kim Shin.

"Yes, Sheena. Don't worry, I'll protect you. Trust me!"

Kim Shin replied strongly. As, he confidently assured Sheena.

"Let's go!"

Clad with a black cloak and armed with an axe. Kim Shin and Sheena dashed through the dark wild forest.

After a few hours of running, Kim Shin and Sheena sat on the ground exhausted.

"Huff..Huff.. Big Brother, do you think we will face monster on the way?"

Sheena asked in fear.

"I'm here, I'll protect you with my life. Okay?"

Kim Shin assured Sheena once more.

Sheena weakly nod.

In the midst of their resting. Kim Shin heard a rustling sound. As, he picked up his axe and stood up.

"Quickly, Sheena get behind me!"

Kim Shin hurriedly ordered Sheena to hide behind him.

"What's wrong brother?"

Hiding behind his brother, Sheena curiously asked Kim Shin.

"Shh. Quiet"

Kim Shin hushed Sheena.

Silently observing his surroundings, Kim Shin didn't saw anything.

*Rustle* *Rustle*

Hearing again the rustling sound. Kim Shin quickly turned his head at left side where the source of the sound came from.

But, he didn't find anything.

Sweat falling from his forehead to his chin.

And with a 'whoosh'.

A thick and long thorny vine instantly appeared at Kim Shin's face. Fortunately, his decision to push down Sheena and ducked his head saved them.

While, down on the ground. The thorny vine, start to assault Kim Shin once more.

Kim Shin quickly pushed Sheena away. And, he also jumped sideward to dodge the thorny vine attack.

*BANG*

The ground trembled. As, the thorny vine pierced the ground.

With a quick movements, Kim Shin sliced the thorny vine from bottom right to the left upwards.

*SLASH*

Kim Shin successfully cut a piece of part of the thorny vine.

And the cut pieced fell on the ground twitching.

"KWAAAAAA"

A screeching sound reverberated after Kim Shin sliced the thorny vine.

"So, you're hiding there!"

Kim Shin exclaimed. As, he looked at the left side direction of their place.

While, looking at the direction of screeching. The thorny vines that had been cut starting to move again and it was regenerating at a fast rate.

"Sheena, Quickly run far away! I'll follow you later."

Kim Shin yelled.

"B-But, how about you big brother?"

Sheena asked while crying.

"Don't worry about me. Just run, Go!"

Kim Shin said loudly. As, he evades the piercing assault of the thorny vine.

"Be careful big brother!"

Sheena shouted and immediately escape.

'You too, be careful'

Kim Shin thought while watching Sheena escape.

Now that Sheena was far away, Kim Shin immediately sprint to the direction of the main body of thorny vine. As, he also evades the attacks of the thorny vine.

Rushing quickly, he arrived at the source of the screech.

And he found a 12 foot tall pink flower, with a big mouth full of sharp teeth, and five more vines that act like tentacles.

Kim Shin shivered at the sight of the monster.

'Damn, what a sh*t luck'

Kim Shin cursed mentally.

*SCREECH*

The enormous monster made a deafening screech once more. After, it saw the culprit that cut its thorny vine.

The furious flower monster, started to attack Kim Shin using its tentacle like thorny vines.

*Boom* *Boom* *Boom*

Kim Shin anxiously evaded all the thorny vines. As, he also countered attacked.

*SLASH*

Slashing and evading is very taxing to his current physique.

*SCREECH*

The enormous flower continues screeching. While, Kim Shin concentratedly evades all the incoming attacks.

After fifteen minutes of evading and slashing. Kim Shin felt that his stamina is already at limit.

"Huff..Huff.. I'm slowing down"

Kim Shin murmured in heavy breathing.

'I'm sorry, Sheena. It seems like I can't follow you. Still, you are probably far away and safe right now.'

Kim Shin sadly thought.

Another flurry of attacks are coming, Kim Shin forcefully moved his foot to evade the attack. But, with his stamina at limit. He's still moved too late.

*PUCHI* *PUCHI*

"UGH!"

Kim Shin g.r.o.a.n.e.d and coughed a mouthful of blood. As, the thorny vines pierced his body.

'Thankfully, I let Sheena run away first. I hope this time I pass the test.'

Kim Shin thought. As, he smiled and tried to close his eyes.

But, before he got to close his eyes. He was shocked to see Sheena who's crying while running to him.

"Big Brother.."

Sheena cried.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? I ALREADY SAID RUN AWAY FROM HERE!"

Kim Shin loudly yelled at Sheena.

"B-but!"

Sheena tried to reason. But, Kim Shin didn't let her finish what she's gonna say.

"JUST RUN! PLEASE, GO!"

Kim Shin begged. As, he roared.

'UGH!'

Kim Shin m.o.a.n.e.d in pain. As, he felt that the flower monster, starting to suck his blood.

"Please.. run.."

Kim Shin weakly begged.

Looking at the dying Kim Shin, Sheena didn't have any strength to continue forward. As, she turned back and run.

But, before Sheena got to run far away. A sudden flash appeared and pierced Sheena.

'UGH'

The thorny vine impaled Sheena like a barbecue.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Kim Shin loudly cried. As, his consciousness fade away.

"NOOOOO!!!*

Kim Shin yelled. As, he opened his eyes and found that his backed again at the wooden hut.

"Huff.. huff.. I failed once again..*sigh*"

Kim Shin sighed. As, he failed to protect Sheena from dying once more.

*Knock* *Knock*

"Good evening, Brother Hyunsik. I brought you porridge please eat this, so, you can recover faster"

Sheena said.

"Sheena.."

Kim Shin softly mumbled. As, he saw Sheena.

'This time, I won't let you die. I promise.'

Kim Shin inwardly vowed to himself.

"Quickly eat this, Big brother."

Sheena urged.

"Thank you, Sheena"

Kim Shin thanked. As, he smiled at Sheena.

Kim Shin lovingly spooned the home-made porridge and put in his mouth.

After he swallow the spoonful of porridge. Kim Shin saw that Sheena was smiling weirdly.

After a few second, Kim Shin taste a coppery taste. As, he coughed a mouthful of blood.

*Cough* *Cough*

"What's the meaning of this, Sheena?"

Kim Shin questionably asked.

"HAHA.. It's all your fault. Big brother. Because, you didn't stop mother and father from going to their mission. If, you stop our parents, we won't be like this. We still have a normal and happy family."

Sheena blamed her brother. As, she laughed like possessed.

'Why?'

Kim Shin last thought. As, he died once again.

Kim Shin felt almost all the negative emotions a human can experience.

Regret, grief, guilt, betrayed, and etc.

He didn't know how many times he experienced death.

He kept thinking even after Sheena brought the porridge, Kim Shin didn't eat the porridge. He just kept thinking.
