Reincarnation: The Strongest Monster

The first thing Lux did after he woke up was to observe his surroundings to check if there was any danger.

He was in a forest with gigantic trees at least 30 m tall each where almost no sunlight shone through. After he was sure that it was all clear he relaxed and only now noticed how unwell and weak he felt himself. He tried to activate his Status and it opened almost instantly.

Can obtain bloodlines by absorbing or eating other creatures but absorbing won't give as much percent as eating.

(Combine & Switch):

Can combine any bloodline with others as long as he has 1 percent but risk of failing is higher the less percent the bloodlines have. Chance is also higher if the advancement is higher. You can switch into bloodlines if you have at least 50% of it but the less % the more XP it costs to advance and the more time it takes to advance naturally.

(Dark aura):

Surpresses enemys that are weaker than you. Enemys stronger than yourself feel unwell.

Blocks light attacks automatically to some extent.

[Racial trait unique to dark dragons and dragons of darkness. In baby stage its partially disabled and only works on enemys who are half as strong as the host. Holy beings will instantly attack if they notice the Dark aura.]

(Faint Smell):

Dark dragons will emit a faint smell in their baby stage and this smell will lead other creatures to them. Has a range of 50 m but beings with strong smelling can easily catch it and hunt u

The dark dragon is a relatively weak dark creature with a strong racial trait. The race is extremely weak in baby stage and a delicacy for every creature who likes meat. Dark dragons can potentially reach Lord Rank.

"Wth is this crap" yelled Lux in frustratian "I got scammed, I thought I'm gonna be a dragon and not some random food. Bullshit, I wanna switch again even infants should be stronger than this worm with the fake name of a dragon. Wtf are these traits? Faint smell? No wonder these "things" are so rare. They ask to be eaten. Who the hell thought to design this race so weak would be good?" raged Lux. "F.u.c.k I need to find a secluded place until I get enough XP or I'm gonna be dead faster than I can finish this sentence."

He crawled away from the place where he woke up. There was a loud voice behind him just a one or two kilometres away. The ground shook and Lux almost lost his balance but he managed to keep it and kept rushing straight away without looking back.

The sounds became louder and the ground trembled more with every step he took. He knew the Beast would catch up soon and he trembled in fear if what would happen if it could catch up to him. He kept running for more than a minute but the voices just didn't want to stop and intisified with every second to pass.Lux who was still a baby after all began to feel that his stamina ran out but he couldn't stop or he would die and he only lived for 5 min.

There were now rocks everywhere the trees lifted and the ground soared upwards. Lux estimated that he fled in the direction of a mountain but he had no time for superfluous questions. Lux ran for his life.

In his panic he didn't notice that the rocks got so big that they began to build a dead end for him cause he was to small to climb over them. He ran and ran until there was a Boulder in front of him blocking his way.

He slowly turned around looking at his Pursuier directly for the first time, It was a big wolf at least 5 m in height and 12 meters long had fell that was darker than the night and blood red eyes. Saliva dropped out of it's gigantic mouth -which could swallow him in one bite- in front of such a delicacy. The wolf slowed down after it saw that Lux had nowhere to run enjoying the fear of the little delicious dragon in front of him.

Lux didn't want to die but he had to smirk and thought "Ha is this karma? I didn't want to become a wolf and now I'll die to one." But a stubborn trait in him wanted to know which race it was exactly he was always curios and this didn't change when he had to face death so he used the observe function for the first and maybe last time.

Wtf is wrong with my luck? Why the hell do I have to find a Lord ranked beast and it's an Gluton on top of it? Lux was speechless and depressed about his luck. He knew that the wolf played with him the whole time or how could he have escaped this long?

So my 2nd life will be this short hm? Won't I ever escape my unlucky life...

He already finished with this life and closed his eyes while the Wolf closed the last meters. Lux could already smell his breath could even feel the d.e.s.i.r.e of the Wolf to feel his flesh.

Suddenly there was a loud boom and the Wolf was pushed away from him. Lux opened his eyes looking around in search for his saviour and saw a Hawk almost as Big as the wolf. Yellow lightnings surrounded his feathers and he let out a challenging screech in the direction of the Wolf who looked like he was hit by a Lightning.

His fell was charred on some places but he didn't look hurt at all only angry. He glared at the hawk and growled extremely angry while jumping onto the hawk.The two of them started a bloody and ruthless fight with each other.

All Lux could do was to crouch in a corner and hope that they wouldn't kill him acidentally while they were fighting.

But again his curiosity obtained the victory cause he wanted to know why the Bird attacked the wolf without any reason so he took a peep on it and used observe the 2nd time this day.

[The Lightning hawk lives in the mountains and is extremely territorial. It will attack every creature that is the same or 1 higher or lower rank than them if they enter their territory. When they reach a.d.u.l.thood it is said that Lighting hawks can control lightnings and thunder. Even if they are younger they are always surrounded by lightning. It can reach King Rank]

Another Lord ranked beast? Are they as common as wheat or how can I find 2 in my first hour on this planet? What the hell is wrong with this world? cursed Lux in his mind not daring to make a sound.

Little did he know that he woke up on the out skirts of one of the most dangerous forest on this planet and that these two are nothing for this forest not even speaking if him.

The fight of the two giants only took a few minutes. It was a pretty fair fight the wolf had more fighting experience but the hawk had the advantage of being able to fly.

In the end the fighting experience of the Wolf got him the victory but he was wounded so badly that maybe even Lux could kill it.

They both knew that but Lux didn't want to try cause it was a Lord Beast after all and his victory was not set in stone at all.

So he let the wolf limp away who did not show his back until he was out of Lux vision probably leaving his prey alive for the first time but Lux knew it would come back to hunt him again.

Than he noticed that the wolf left in his haste most of the dead Bird.

His stomach grumbled and he instinctly knew the answer. So he cut a few pieces of flesh using his claws and roasted them with his dragon flame before feasting on them.

He wanted to eat as much flesh as possible before other beasts would notice the free feast.
