Save Them All: Stiles Stilinski's Rebirth

Chapter 13 - Welcome to Beacon Hills

*TaIIN*

I enchant, encasing the captured man in magical binds. As he begins to open his eye's.

Facing the unfamiliar figure he blinks repeatedly before muttering; "W-Who are you?"

Feeling playful, "I'm the person that you just tried to kill. Nice to meet you Mr. Hunter"

Seeing the expression on my face, he is slightly irked.

"You're … the beta?" He questions

Activating my eyes, revealing the pure white coloured pupils, "Not quite. I'm something…. Much much…more dangerous"

He shakes unsure of the creature that is front of him.

I need some answers. And before I kill him, I want to try something. Using my will, I focus my eyes on his, as I command him to speak.

"Why have you used Lydia Martin's Jacket as bait for the beta?"

He looks as if he has no own conscience and begins speaking honestly, "As a banshee, her blood has the ability to call supernatural creatures"

'How did they know that? She hasn't been turned yet'

What is going on?

"How do you know that?"

He struggles, "We are with the Watchers"

The Watchers? The official guard dogs of the Council? Buffy and Maddie? Why are they here? I only met the two during our college days.

Has my interference already changed things? Or did I just not know about this occurring in my past life? I was a human back then, and considering that all my focus was on either Scott turning or my obsession with Lydia so it could well be I didn't face them because we weren't deemed a threat. I mean they had bigger fish to fry. Quite literally, I heard the ningyo/mermaids were lodging a war with the dragon gods around this time.

"The Watchers, who is it Maddie or Buffy?" I ask. If its Maddie then there is no reason to be worried, she is much more of the ask questions, act way later type. Whereas Buffy well let's just say she is quite the unique fellow.

As he's about to answer, he starts foaming from the mouth. Before shaking violently before crashing down to earth…. Unmoving.

Feeling the magical signature, it is vaguely familiar. The silver tongue charm? How very smart of you …..

The bus she is on jumps a little, popping her slight out her seat for hardly a second, allowing her phone to slip and clatter to the floor. Squeezing between the seat, she reaches with the tips of her fingers until she could scoot it into her palm to check for cracks or scratches.

Looking up she notices the silence. The rumbling white noise of the bus had stopped like a plug was pulled or a mute button was hit. It takes her a moment to process that the loss of sound is due to the fact that the bus had come to an abrupt stop.

People began mumbling as a man in the back began to yell at the driver, "Jesus Christ! Are you bloody serious?"

The intercom flares up as the voice of the driver comes through "It seems like we've run into some engine trouble. Please be patient as we wait for assistance."

Her particular keen hearing manages to pick up on his panicked mumble "Damn it" under his breath

The driver then stood up from his seat as he adjusted his hat covered only part of his graying hair. Smoothing out of his uniform as he exited through the door the she hadn't even noticed were open.

Leaning slightly against the window, she is able to follow him until he was out of sight, somewhere near the front of the bus.

A few moments later a loud slam came from the front of the bus, something heavy banging into it. Maybe it was the hood closing. It was probably the hood closing.

A collective breath was held. Even though it was probably fine, her instincts were telling her something else. Peering out the winshield, standing up she she's nothing. Nothing at all. Alarm and a skin prickling static washed over her as she watched the darkness for she smells something familiar that mad her gag.

Looking back, to see every person watching her but not stopping her. She turns to the man in the back that had so much to say.

"Close the door behind me" Her cold voice echoes out as commanding as it could be.

Saying nothing else, she took the remaining steps outside. The smell of pine a deep contradiction to the sour air. As the door creaks behind her and shut with a soft click

Something rustles in the darkness of the surroundings. Dead leaves crunch in the thick brush at the side of the road. It sounded almost like crawling – or skittering, something quick. Something decidedly not human. The darkness felt alive, moving and shifting. Beckoning even.

A breeze blew past her as it brought with her a chill. Twisting her head slightly behind he to look over her shoulders as something like a rumble seemed to have clawed its way up from the earth.

Even in myths, demons always came from below. Under the bed, from a grave, or from hell itself.

That is when it's gleaming yellow eyes came into view looking down on her. Despite the darkness that hid the outline of it's face. She could she the elongated and rigid brow.

Walking towards her, it increases it's speed incrementally.

Out of seemingly nowhere, what appears in her had was a rapier. Her muscles taught and her spine straightens as she dodges two successive strikes as her feet moves like a dance, one she has practiced every day for years of her life/

Growing in agitation, the creature releases a growl in her throat similar to that of a guttural yell. It charges again.

Following the momentum of creature, she steps forward front flipping over the tall creature, in a arc that must've looked beautiful from a distance, simultaneously slashing across the body of the creature.

It shrieks as it's body is cut in half. Before evaporating into dust as if it never existed before.

Stretching her neck , she scowls "Ghouls, always so annoying loud."

Walking to the front of the bus, she grimaced at the sight. The bus driver was slumped there against it, throat torn open with his eyes glazed over. A dead stare at the dirt.

'I hope he had no one he was leaving behind' her eyes seem to say as it looks at him with pity and remorse.

Somewhere far away, sirens begin wailing as it lights up the dark, causing her to notice something she hadn't seen before.

A sign a few feet away on the side of the highway that reads
