Scarlet's Awakening

"Close your eyes..." Jasper's calm, child-like voice echoed inside the cave as Scarlet followed his instructions. She closed her eyes, trying to concentrate her mind on Jasper's voice.

"Now lift your hand in front of you," he said, his voice closer to her face this time. Scarlet felt like peeking to see why Jasper was so close to her. She gradually she opened her right eye, Slowly so that Jasper wouldn't see her but unfortunately, Jasper caught her in the act.

Jasper came down from hovering in the air and cleared his throat. "That's just the fundamentals. It's too early for you to thank me," he said, turning his head away to hide his blushing cheeks.
