Scarlet's Awakening

Scarlet looked at the necklace in her hand, her eyes focused on the tear drop stone, appreciating its beauty.

The stone looked like it was tempting her to wear him around her neck, and she was very, badly tempted to.

It would be a shame to put it back inside the envelope where it came from and then lock it in a safe.

Scarlet looked at the necklace once more. "Oh well," She shrugged, facing the full length mirror then put the necklace around her neck.

When stone touched her skin, Scarlet saw the necklace glowing a small purplish light. She tilted her head to the side, looking at her overall appearance.

Raising an eyebrow, she clicked her tongue. "Hmm. Not bad." She said, appreciating the view.

Even though she saw the necklace glowing, Scarlet didn't think too much about it since the light was gone as quickly as it appeared. What she didn't know was that the necklace sent a signal to someone, and that someone was actually not far from the palace, reading and drinking tea when he suddenly stopped.

"Is something the matter, milord?" Anselme asked when he saw Jasper's hand stopping when he was about bring the cup to his lips.

Jasper's eyes mysteriously shone as he put the cup down, a satisfied smile on his lips. "She wore it."

"Pardon, milord?"

Jasper looked at his subordinate's confused expression. "Nothing." He said, brushing him off and returning his attention back to his book.

Anselme frowned, giving a side long glance at the book his master was reading. What's in that book that made his stone faced master smile so suddenly?

Back to the palace...

Scarlet's attention was back towards admiring the necklace on her neck.

It looks good on her... she thought.

It was just her style...

She might thank Jasper for the necklace when he comes back.

Scarlet tore her gaze away from the necklace and thought about her next move...

So, what is going to do today?

Scarlet took a deep breath and scanned all her memories regarding her magical powers and how the former Scarlet Rose usually fights.

It has occured to her during her dangerous experience inside the other dimension that she has to learn to fight and protect herself somehow.

The Scarlet Order won't be there to protect her all the time when her life is in danger. She should at least know some defensive and offensive spells to save her a.s.s. She has powers to do that.

It didn't take long for Scarlet to finish searching all her memories like a computer. With all the information laid in her mind, Scarlet learn that she was actually a Sorceress. Mainly, specializing in creation magic, dark magic and space and time magic.

Fun fact, Scarlet was also a summoner. A dark summoner to be exact.

Games call these dark summoners, Necromancers, and their abilities includes the skill to summon and command the dead.

It's a cool ability actually. But the former Scarlet Rose found it hard to control her summons because of her mental strength. She stopped improving her Necromancer skills entirely and focused her time and effort in developing other skills like elemental and holy magic.

Actually, there are a lot of spells she can cast. Most of them are 10th Tiered Spells which is the highest category for spells in this world.

Since Scarlet can access these type of power spells using her memories she stopped herself from planning to use them for the time being. She doesn't need spells than can kill a thousand lives at the moment.

What peaked Scarlet's interest though was her summoning abilities. Scarlet wanted to try and learn how to use it again for the sake of the former Scarlet Rose.

She failed because she lacked mental strength to control a lot of summons. But right now, she may be able to do it. She was not the same Scarlet Rose as before. Maybe she can even develop the ability herself using the little knowledge she brought from the modern world.

However, Scarlet found it hard to learn from the basics, up to the advanced knowledge of her magic powers because of the presence of the Scarlet Order around her, guarding and watching her every move.

They didn't know she was an impostor, yet. And if they find out the truth eventually then she will be really screwed.

She needs someone who knows the real her. And can advice her what to do like a partner and an assistant.

Right there and then, Scarlet thought of an idea.

What if she creates a clone. Not of herself. But a clone of her brain and make it her secretary!

It sounds dumb. She knows. But wouldn't it be easier for her if she has someone she trusts. Some one who knows her inside and out and advises her with her decisions, like a support system! But only available to her.

"Status open." She mumbled and with a 'Ping', a floating square image appeared.

After reading her stats again, Scarlet was now certain that she has the ability to do it. The level of her creation magic was at it's maximum. That means she can create the support system if she wanted to.

In the former Scarlet's memories, a person once told her that spells in this world are like wishes.

Concentration and focus is very important. If she imagined the kind of magic she wanted to cast inside her mind in a vivid picture, she can make it based on the purpose she thinks it is useful for.

Imagery is the key. She can do it.
