Scarlet's Awakening

Chapter 32 - Special Skill 2

Scarlet didn't know how long they were talking inside her mind. She was very absorbed with their topic that she forgot to notice the time outside. Scarlet just spent all of her attention towards asking Navy, about all sorts of questions regarding her new found powers to make her really understand.

And so far, most of Navy's explanations we're understandable.

Now, Scarlet is aware that she has the ability to do Absolute Recreation, Animation, Constructs Creation, Dimension Creation, Life Creation, Matter Creation, Object Creation, Omnireplication, Uncertainty Creation and Infinite Supply. And all these… are at level 1. That means they have restrictions and individual limitations even though they sound so over powering to the ears.

When talking about absolute recreation, it simply means that she has the ability to recreate objects that were destroyed. Poof! Gone.

Navy explained to her that absolute recreation is entirely different from absolute restoration so she must not get confused by the two since absolute recreation, recreates objects. Not restore them to perfect condition like restoration magic always do.

Examples are a book that was already destroyed can be recreated again using recreation magic while with restoration magic you still need the actual destroyed book and restore it to its former state.

See the difference?

Up next is her ability to put life to the lifeless, and motion to the motionless.

Her ability to do Animation brings inanimate objects to life. The caster obviously has control over the object and she has to maintain focus towards controlling it and keep on giving it orders or else it will stop moving.

There is a time limit for this ability and when the caster loses control of the object, it returns to its previous inanimate state.

Constructs Creation, however, is the ability to create items that she has personally seen or imagined inside her head. The product of this magic obviously disappears when the caster dies or loses her consciousness.

Scarlet can create anything she wants using this ability especially when she knows how they function and work.

Next, is Dimension Creation where she can create different kinds of dimensions from her own will. The ability also has the capability to travel from dimension to dimension using portal creation. However, its limitations includes putting a strain on the caster's body after creating too many dimensions because it needs a lot of energy to create one.

The caster can also cause chaos and ruin by creating too many dimension she couldn't control.

Knowing this, Scarlet only plans to use this magic when she's stuck inside a dimension. Again. And if it's necessary for her to isolate threats by trapping them inside a personally made dimension she use it.

Life creation is also part of her abilities. It's the power that she used bringing Navy into solid and thinking existence. However, according to Navy, this power has its limitations as well and that includes; when the creator dies the creation dies as well. Also, the creation is not entirely loyal to their creators depending on how they're being treated. The ability is cool on its own way since she can bring statues to life but it's very dangerous for her to always use since she can't entirely control her creations.

Up next on Scarlet's list of abilities is the ability to create matter. For example she can create medicine, organic matter, inorganic matter, plasma and the elements on the periodic table!

However, things created by this ability are limited to the power of the user's imagination. They are also limited in size and weight.

And when it regards to creating medicine, Scarlet can only create medicine that exists, like Paracetamol, Biogesic or healing potions from this world. Meaning miracle medicines created from thin air is impossible for her to do.

Next is Object Creation!

This ability can be restricted by the laws of physics (maybe) however, Scarlet doesn't have absolute control on them and she can only create non-living objects using this ability, obviously.

There's one complicated and very interesting ability she has though aside from what was mentioned and that's the power of Omnireplication.

It is the ability to copy other people's powers, their abilities, duplicate her own body, copy other people's identities, and she can even copy her emotions and duplicate it out of her body if she experiences too much stress and loses control of her powers, like another her but filled with anger or sadness.

Second to the last from the list of her newly acquired abilities is the power of Uncertainty Creation.

It's the ability to create objects without a clear sense and understanding of how they function and work.

And lastly, Infinite Supply.

It's an ability that actually has a lot of sub-powers under it, according to Navy. Scarlet couldn't clearly understand how the ability actually works because of it's numerous functions and uses. However, there were two things that appealed to her when Navy talked about this ability.

Those two are the ability to make dimensional storages and make objects not to run out of anything.

Like for example using the ability to a water container make it not run out of water to quench your thirst. Another is to make a notebook have unlimited number of pages to write on. And guns making it not run out of bullets!

Cool right?

However, Navy informed her that her special skill, still has other abilities that she couldn't use and unlock at the moment because of her level restriction. When she levels up in the future, all of her abilities will level up as well and will receive additional abilities other than the abilities she has.

"Do you have any more questions, Mistress?"

Navy patiently asked, blinking her big dewy eyes on Scarlet while she awaited more questions from her.

"So far, regarding my powers, I don't have any more questions to ask you."

Scarlet sighed, slightly tired as she lay her back on the grassy meadow while Navy sat, cross legged on her stomach. All those information she received were too much to digest in one go. She needed a break to absorb all of them since this is all so new to her.

While staring peacefully at the cloudless blue sky inside her mind, Scarlet suddenly remembered something.

"Oh! I almost forgot to ask." She said, snapping her fingers in recollection before turning to look at Navy.

Navy blinked. Curious with her mistress's question. "What is it you want to ask me, Mistress?"

Scarlet swallowed hard.

"Well, before I ask... Just don't feel offended, okay?"

"... And why would I be offended, mistress?" Navy tilted her head to the side. Her expression reflecting her thoughts revealing that she obviously didn't understand what her Mistress meant by her words.

"Well, I wanted to warn you first since I was going to ask you why do you look like... that."

Navy looked at herself when Scarlet gestured towards her outer appearance. Her face crumpled into a frown.

"What do you mean?"

Scarlet looked at Navy. "What I mean is, when I was creating you I didn't imagine you to look like that."

"Like what?"

"Like a Smurf with wings."

"What? Mistress, I'm not a smurf! You designed me to look like the water fairy of the fantasy book you always read to the children every weekend in the orphanage."

Scarlet look stunned. "Did I?"

"Yes!" Navy stressed out.

"Huh, maybe I really did a mistake while creating you." She contemplated.
