Scythe, Sword And Steel

The Dark Forest is a very dangerous place inhabited by human-eating monsters and gigantic wolves. This forest was so thick that it would block almost any sunlight that would pass through, making it very difficult to see around. Dark at day, pitch black at night, wolves roam around these areas all day.

It was already dark. The surroundings were pitch black and strange noises keep on coming from nowhere. Gusion took out his Holy Blade to illuminate the surroundings.

"Hey, about that blade, how does it glow in tje dark?" Alucard asked. "I infused my light magic into enchanting this blade," Gusion replied.

Gusion picked up a hobby of enchanting swords with magic. He had made a dark sword during his time in Mage Academy. He also learned how to use light magic to travel at light speed.

"It's hard though, because it uses a lot of my mana, and you know mana takes a lot of time to regenerate." Gusion said. "Mana? What's that?", Lesley asked. Gusion looked at the talisman hanging on his neck. "An essential energy for mages to cast magic skills" Gusion replied.

Alucard heard a howl of wolves in front of them. "Hey, did you hear that?" He said. When they looked around, they were already surrounded by wolves. They had gray skin, razor sharp claws and glowing red eyes. The pack of hungry wolves started to chase them.

"Run!" Gusion shouted. The three started to run as fast as they could, but the wolves were too fast. They scratched Gusion's left arm and his right leg. Lesley tripped on a twig and fell on the ground. They had to keep running, ir they would end up as wolf meat.

"Lesley... Get on my back!" Gusion said as he was struggling to get up. "No but you're injured...", "Just get on my back now!" Lesley got on Gusion's back as Alucard tried to fight off the wolves to buy them time. "Hang on tight Les, you don't want to fall off!" The wolves got even closer and closer. "On the count of three, one, two, three, go!" Alucard counted out.

They began climbing the tree, then started to jump from tree to tree. The wolves would follow as well. Gusion began to cast a spell that would help them escape. "Sprint!" and they started moving faster. Lesley held onto Gusion as tight as she could. However the wolves were still behind them, getting closer every second. "Flicker!" "Incandescence!" "Blink!", every spell Gusion would cast wouldn't work. They ran out of options but to fight back. They went down from the trees and drew their weapons.

Shot after shot fired from Lesley's rifle. Gusion and Alucard slashed through the wolves. A wolf knocked Alucard down and bit him in his left leg. "They're too many, we can't fight these anymore!" Just as the wolves were about to kill them for good, a little girl with a scythe and a claw killed all the wolves, slashing and dancing through. She was scratched many times, but her wounds shockingly regenerated in a blink of an eye. Blood was everywhere. Bodies of dead wolves scattered around the forest.

Lesley quickly ran over to Gusion, who had passed out. Alucard slowly started to stand up. He looked into the little girl's eyes. "Wait a minute, that scythe..." he said. When he saw the girl's face, he was shocked. "R-Ruby?! is that you?!".
