Chapter 57 - Mission: Eruditio

After a few days of fighting through the city, they were quite close to the control center. None of the heroes have died, but some of them got seriously injured. Franco saw Terizla and Dyrroth by the distance.

"Mission, Chicken Wing, what's your status?"

"Mission, Apocalypse Agent, I see two demons in the front gate of the city hall. Should I hook them up?"

"Negative. Trap them."

"Got it."

When Franco looked back, the demons were gone. It turns out, they were already down on the ground, electrocuted by tazers.

"W-Wha..."

"No worries, Chicken Wing!" Claude said, who was holding a tazer in his hand.

"Damn you, I'm Commander Franco! We're not close for you to call me that!"

"What? I'm the ric.h.e.s.t guy in the Land of Dawn! I'm doing this for the money, okay?"

"Stop it you two." Yi sneaked behind them. "Let's get moving."

After walking and walking, Yi finally found Lab 3116, where Dr. Rooney was. The guard let him enter as he saw Yi running.

"You guys stay here. I'll be quick." Yi said.

Yi entered the gate passcode, and he came running to the elevator. towards the second floor. He saw Rooney chilling in his old couch.

"Rooney, Rooney! Let's go!"

"What are you..."

Yi quickly grabbed his hand and dragged him to the elevator. After several seconds, he ran outside the laboratory, with Rooney.

"Hey, what's going on Yi?" Rooney asked.

"We're going to need you. We'll take Selena down."

They encountered Argus, Helcurt and Moskov, who was waiting for them across the road. The army pointed the weapons at them. Suddenly, Gusion thought of a good idea. He stepped in front of everyone, facing Helcurt.

"Paxley, what are you..."

"Hey, Helkitty! We're not scared of your Night Falls thing. That's just the most useless skill ever!" Gusion shouted.

"Oh yeah!" Helcurt replied. "Dark Night Falls!"

"What the hell. He actually fell for it."

As the moon shined bright, Roger transformed into a werewolf. Gusion entered his Moonlight Sonata state. The three demons was shaking.

"Hahahaha! Genius!" Layla shouted.

"No, demons are dumb."

Everyone else watched as Roger and Gusion charged. The three demons started running, as they were scared by the werewolf. Roger targeted Helcurt, and started biting his hand.

"No! Not my hand! Owwwwww!!!!!"

"Here we go again."

"Oh no you dont!"

Moskov threw a spear at Gusion, which he dodged. Moskov was too slow, as Gusion had already stabbed him in the back several times. Argus battled Roger, as he bit Helcurt more and more. Roger scrathed Argus hard, but gis armor was too strong to do damage to him.

"Hahahaha! Your claws won't kill me!" Argus shouted.

"But this will..." Harith whispered.

"H-Huh?"

Harith used Zaman Force to hold Argus in position. He tried to escape the ice in his feet, but he couldn't. He even tried using his wings, but nothing was really happening.

"This won't kill me, you little brat! The flames are burning inside me!"

"Flames? Hey, does any of you know how to use water magic?" Gusion shouted.

The people looked at each other and started laughing. Franco stepped forward and looked Gusion in the eye.

"Hey kid, this isn't a time for fooling around!" Franco shouted.

"Hey, chicken wings, calm down. He's trying his best." Claude said.

"Water you said?" Rooney asked. "Here, I have a watergun in my pocket!"

"A watergun?! Rooney, where are you going? Swimming?" Yi asked.

"This should work anyhow." Gusion said.

He fired the watergun at Argus, and the green flames in his body disappeared. He eventually passed out from the pain.

"Okay, we're done here. Shall we proceed..."

In the background, he saw Roger trying to eat Helcurt alive as he scrambled for help.

"Roger, stop it! We're done here!"
