Chapter 5 - Side story on situation of the world

After the update, every hour is a busy hour as army try to fight a whole new threats than the terrorists or any other nations fighting for their self-interest, all of a sudden every one are fighting against monsters not just some hordes of zombies, there are different species of monsters like serpents and lizards from some parts of the area while some parts of the area have bull men that is half man half bull which they looks like face and top body have human parts and the bottom part is a bull basically a bull combine with man and some parts is same but filled of goat man. Then for some area have bugs and birds.

Fighting on those areas are challenging as jets roar as it takes off for its missions either to scout or hit important targets like armored hunks that can only be killed by bombing of the jets as normal bullets and grenades can't even do a dent on its armor and it's skin making it inefficient to discharge so many ammunition just to kill one target, rocket launcher helps but it takes 3 of the rockets to kill one. As the self-propelling grenades rain down the field, many zombies died due to that explosion from it, the zombies are fighting back by calling or pawning special zombies as reinforcement as glowing white beams down the field, corrosive liquid melt everything that it touches making it harder to fight as it creates a defensive line that soldiers can't punch through.

The normal peace life of the people has changed for better or worse... where people screaming and fighting for their daily survival, for once they do not have to worry about having not enough money to survive, but to worry about the next minutes whether they can survive through the monsters and horrors.

Zombies relation

As the zombies are quickly wipe out all thank to the modern weaponry the army has, special zombies, have come to reinforce the zombies.

This is some of the lists of some of the well known special zombies

First up there is a d.i.c.ker who is a zombie which it's special feature is it's tall and big d.i.c.k that can shoot a stream of corrosive fluids that looks like laser beams, an upon touch any target, it will melt everything but it seems biological being are more resistant to their "beams" other than that it is almost the same as the normal zombies

Secondly, there is a runner which is a running zombie that can run to its target and harass them, the only thing is different runner and zombies is runner can way faster than them and they can easily flank their target or backstab by attacking target back

Thirdly there is a long neck which has a snake-like a neck, it's neck are extremely flexible and long which it loves to ambush careless or alone survivors by grabbing them by surprise. The only way to save your friend been trapped by the long neck is to either cut its neck or kill the body.

Next up, there is a smoker which is a large lump of grey mass that looks like a jar of wine from far, it passively and constantly releases poison miasma or smoke for more common terms which can boost the effectiveness of other zombies while poisoning and weakening others if they accidentally breathing into the smoke. In additional of that when an upon death, it first grow bigger then burst in an explosion causing even more poisonous clouds to be released which will anger the nearby zombies which boost their attacks like a man high on drugs, releasing more damage than usual.

Next up is the hunk which a human tank that is used to destroy tanks and barricades for zombies to enter, using its huge muscles to block off bullets and etc

Last but not the least animal zombies which are dead or killed without proper buried or ritual will cause it to be revived as a zombie animal which is harder to kill but weaker than original living creatures that it should be in, the problem that it that it could fuse its body through add stuffs like metal clippers and etc in order to make itself stronger

The army does their best on recalling their reserves troops to battle while zombies and other monsters blocked the way and their reinforcements and supplies routes.

As jets roar towards the sky to clear the routes but in mid of the way, the birds block the way, sh.i.p.s on sea fight against sea monsters, soldiers fight zombies, there are too many monsters around for army to fight with, every force have their difficulty like following

Firstly is air forces, they have problems of birds killing themselves due to suction power of their engines turbines and as a result jet go down due to turbines engine fail to work, the problem becomes worse as the zombies respawn around the airstrips(air running way) which is effective if there are enough zombies blocking the runway, engineers can't do a proper maintenance on the plane as zombies keep attacking them while they are doing repair or maintenance.(once the engine starts, animals most of the time will rush to its death due to its suction power to suck them in to the engine)

Secondly is navy even though there are a few zombies respawn which sailors quickly power them, the only problem is some sea monsters randomly attack them for food.

Thirdly is army as most of the problem is the zombies and others creatures occupying their lands. With some support from survivors, they managed to secure a few safe areas just barely enough for people to rest

Overall as a whole, the army defeated endless waves of monsters but they keep coming back for more plus there is too much land to defend for soldiers.

As a result, the air force is crippled as less and fewer aircraft are allowed to take off as zombies crowd over the runway, engineers use a working engine to distract the zombies so the plane could fly off.

Navy is the sea monsters keep attacking them as sh.i.p.s.

On the land, there is too many zombies and is too little resting place, of course the soldiers manage to ensure area for themselves but expending to former glory take time as the monsters evolution increase slowly as they level up but in most of cases overkilling zombies using non_system weaponry will also cause evolution of monsters to speed up, for an example a bomber fly and drop a bomb and kill a few hundreds of zombies or zombies who are killed by robots will cause the zombies from other places to somehow evolve into other species of zombies much faster. It can be seen as the system trying to counter the massive killing of weapons that mankind have even through humans think that it is easy to kill other species with non-system weapons also system has ensured that the loots drop and experience gain rate from those kills have very low.

Of course, that does not stop the man of using those weapons to clear the path and rebuild what is their, anyway crappy drop and experience rate is not a big deal as the man can kill enough to get to next level.

Not just the humans getting stronger by fighting them, nearby grasses grow bigger and taller after the mass killing, most of the time bugs evolve into a better version of it, some plants evolve to trap fly plant to attract bugs using honey like substances to lure and trap bugs, some plants play a semi-automatic trap to hunt nearby animals for foods, some of them use fruits to make animals and humans gather around them for defense and their waste as nutrition while for bugs are the almost the same as plants but they don't have the ability to produce food by themselves.

Basically, all living organisms or non_ones are evolving to be a better version of themselves and the supplies and reinforcements routes are forcefully being cut down by the sea of monsters. People are forced to fight for their lives against the monsters as they fight for survival.

On the civil side,

Government tries to calm down the over-panicking population through radios, television, internet as they are many permanent deaths around the globe by getting killing by zombies, improved or evolved animals, infested rats and etc.

There is news of people dying as a man got killed by f.u.c.k.i.n.g a women zombie, people get bitten to death by large insects which can scare a lot of people. Many people have many different responses seeing that. Some of not so smart ones question why isn't the government protecting them for this happening, some just want to be a hero and start defeating them, a few of them failed to survive but a lot of them that choose to get out of their house or after they died, they respawn and find their new partners or groups then they start to gather up allies from people who choose to stay at home or from saving them, some kill other people for loots like survivor packs while some loots other houses and shops for loots, a few manage to form groups to station at the same point on where they started.

Through communication on social media, internet, radios, television, the government provides pieces of information and tips on how to survive and requesting those who have the strength to gather at the certain area so people can defend the area easier so that the others can expend the safe area faster. Of course, there are most governments who want to control that information, as they want the monopoly of it, which people slowly but steadily learn to use the system and getting critical information from the tutorials and news.

Even banks are not safe against zombies, one after one respawning out nowhere to bank safe and etc, rager is born from this conditions as they are trapped in the banks and they have no way out of the cage, they are the zombies that are overreacting on any sudden moves, very aggressive on things that move in sudden and they are on rage most of the time. The so-called acting as polices are scared of the sudden spawn of the monsters that show their rage on them

Rage mode on and rager rush into policemen and smash them into pancakes

(Zombies robbed the banks) No one wants to fight a zombie that is raging at any time whether be it is any of 4 seasons summer, winter, spring and etc, range weapons helps to solve this problem of killing a rager as rage boost 20% stats and 50% attack speed which allows it to attack 3 times for a turn furthermore rager have 50% more duration on rage than normal humans. A normal human can rage for 4 turns while rager can rage for 6 turns with can potentially wipe out a party with other zombies combinations.

The police is like the counter against those ragers as their pistols kill rager in 2 to 3 well-placed shots or 4 to 6 normal shots, some top secret police organization have thousands of those pistol bullets, the only good things about rager is they have a rare chance of dropping 2 skill book that can allow those to learn to rage one extra turn while another is to boost the increase rate of rage which both skills are potentially more effective in dangerous situations may be due to this book. It is being discovered that normal weapons have a way lower chance of making the monsters drop, it is in theory that normal weapons have 100 times less drop chance than starter weapons. That police who used those skills books have another name which is then called the raging cop.

Now their job are not only to protect people, gathering people into a safe place by saving people, moving people into a safer place, fight against theft and looting sometime robbers, terrorists who have somehow get think that they are free from all the problem and they are heroes in RPG world which give them the right to loot everything, zombies....

As more people gathered, more and more skills discovered so have a team of swats/police and some special people with those skills can even take down a hunk.

On the 3rd day, probably the most crappy things happening to humankind all vehicles stop moving and evolve into a machine being that can move by itself, airplanes, jets, submarines, sh.i.p.s, tanks, cars, and other stuff are unusable, people are forced teleported out of the vehicles and struck on some respawn points. Other equipment and weaponry that is not the system based are reduced to 1/4 of their original strength and effective or in a gaming way of explaining is all stats reduced by 75%, of course, this is hidden notice that is to balance the stuff out anyway

By now every being at least experience levelling up once for their skills, so a system is set by some unknown being to make new bonuses for praying to certain gods and a party with some combination will have some sort of bonus to reward them for teaming up.

...WTF I just now deployed the moon to add on to one moon earth system, did I make a mistake of deploying a more extra moon never mind a more moon is better than no moon furthermore it saves me the energy to make one more. As the unknown god talking to himself over and over again, well it looks like the game is not really fun as faith level has dropped a lot since 50 to 100 years, humans have more faith on their tools than us LOL, time to design the game and put it into action. Time to let players get more fun in the game, more fun, more exciting, more ah...Thumb up for more faith, not like only humans can have faith, other species or races should able to give players thumb up of faith if humans can't generate enough why don't use other races to replace it anyway haha I could be able to get the top genius reward for this invention hahaha... Sounds of some mad no I mean great God laughing throughout space.

Even most gods can take the reduction of faith like a real god, maybe this god can't manage the stress of it as that the reason why he/she created the system later everyone even gods learn to have a love and hate relationship with.

At the start of the update, humans are screaming and others are praying for help causing a mass increase in faith that is shocking to most of the gods, some gods instantly get the power boost and their wounds from previous war slowly recover, of course, some are slowly reviving themselves up while believers are getting blessing in return so it is a win-win situation, if they pray and believe long enough, they can get a new job.

The system is the most interesting things that other gods can see as they do not need to do normal dreaming to give tips and hints to their believers, now they can even do a live chat with them. This is an overpowering improvement that can change faith industries forever as normally only high priest or priestess can talk to but the one thing that is information will after passing to a few months but there are alway information losses which will to blind faith that will not do any good to the gods themselves as the worshippers believe their faith to the false gods, err it is the head priests themselves....

Having a way to do a live chat with believers, believers may trust them more? maybe the faith generation will increase due to the increase of believers, gods rush to help their believers who are in hell due to mostly zombies threats which in exchange gods are happy as the more believers enter the job of believing that their gods will be coming to save this hell that they experience in.

As a result, the faith system is getting more flatter than before, people are found out that it is the easiest way to get stats or a job is to believe in gods, rather than slaying zombies or even train up.
