Tales Of The Necromancer: Ling Tian

Chapter 13 - 13: Adventurer's Guild

A man wearing a mask with white hair and wore a red magic robe walked towards the reception desk.

The man was none other than Ling Tian, he already arrived at his destination, the Adventurer's Guild.

He now was trying to register as an adventurer. He walked towards the reception desk with small and quiet steps.

He greeted the girl at the reception desk. The girl had a long ear, green hair, green eyes, and a sharp eyebrow with a big melon hanging in her c.h.e.s.t.

She indeed was a one of a kind beauty. Ling Tian realized she was an elf. That's right, an elf!

Ling Tian thought he wouldn't see one in real life, but now, a real elf was standing before him!

He greeted the elf,

"Uhm, can I register as an adventurer here?" said Ling Tian to the beautiful elf.

The elf set aside her paper that she was checking and looked over him.

"Yes Sir, if you want to be an adventurer then you would need to fill this form." answered the elf to Ling Tian as she passed a paper from her desk.

[Name:

Age:

Occupation:

Cultivation:

Skills:]

'I guess level 10 is the first layer and level 20 is the second layer and so on...:

That was what was written in the form, he quickly answered those questions.

[Name: Ling Tian

Age: 17

Occupation: Warrior

Cultivation: 1st layer of Spirit Cultivation

Skills: Light Slash.]

Ling Tian handed the form to the beautiful elf and the elf took it from his hands and started to read it.

"Only one skill?" questioned the elf.

"Yes Maam."

"Very well." the elf nodded at him.

The elf stood up and said,

"Please follow me as we will be evaluating your innate talent, skill, and your cultivation layer." the elf said to Ling Tian.

Ling Tian also stood up and the elf gestured him to follow her.

The elf and Ling Tian walked into a big room with a gigantic mirror that was about 10 meters entered his view.

The elf opened her mouth and spoke,

"Please stand at the mirror and don't make any unnecessary movements as it will disrupt the innate talent testing mirror." said the elf.

Ling Tian nodded and walked right in the mirror and stood. He didn't make any unnecessary movements as the elf said.

The mirror brightened up and Ling Tian felt the intense heat coming from it.

Colors started appearing at the mirror. Sometimes it was red, sometimes it was green, and sometimes it was blue.

Then, someting happend unexpected. The mirror shattered and broke into pieces.

The elf saw this and shouted,

"No! It can't be! An innate talent that can't be recorded using the innate talent testing mirror!"

Ling Tian was shocked too,

'Innate talent that can't be measured. Then it means that I have a good innate talent right?!'

The elf calmed down and coughed.

"*cough*, good job, you have a good innate talent. Now, follow me to test your cultivation layer." said the elf.
