Tales Of The Necromancer: Ling Tian

Ling Tian and the elf walked into a small room with a table with a glass ontop of it in the middle.

The elf again gestured to Ling Tian to come to the table and press his hand into it to measure his cultivation layer.

Ling Tian nodded and walked near to the table and pressed his hands into the glass.

When the hand came intact with the glass, a word appeared as if it was a ghost.

The words were readed as,

"Cultivation: First Layer."

The receptionist elf nodded again and walked and told Ling Tian,

"Come follow me again, let's go to the training grounds to test your skill."

He and the receptionist elf arrived at a big open space. There was one big man standing in the middle of the training grounds.

The elf near him spoke,

"Test your skill at that man. His name is Carmen. A former elite soldier, now an elite adventurer." The elf told Ling Tian.

The elf shouted at the big man,

"Carmen, here's a new rookie. Let him test your skill at you."

The elf turned at Ling Tian and told him,

"Spar with him." Ling Tian nodded and took out his Flame Sword.

Both the elf and Carmen batted their eyes as they saw him took a gold rank artifact.

They both thought,

'A spatial ring? And a gold rank artifact? He must be a noble!' they both thought and frowned.

But before they can think why a noble born will want to be an adventurer, Ling Tian dashed at Carmen.

Carmen got serious and also took his sword out from its sheet. It was a normal sword, yet it created phoenix sounds.

They both clashed, Carmen blocked the sword of Ling Tian, but Ling Tian formed a fist form in his hands.

Using his immense strength, he punched to the right of Carmen.

Carmen did a side ways dodge, but it left an opening to his left.

Ling Tian slashed to the left of Carmen and muttured,

"Light Slash!"

The sword sped up, leaving only blurs. Carmen tried to block it, and he succeeded at it.

But due to the power of the slash, he got knocked away to the wall strongly, which caused him to lost consciousness.

Ling Tian smirked and the sword dissapeard in his hand. And said,

"I win."

The elf saw what happend and took out something in her pocket,

It was a magic wand glowing in blue light.

"Hey! Christian! Carmen got hurt during a test, please check him and heal him."

The elf sighed and muttured silently,

"That must be atleast an A+ rank skill. It was so fast that I can only see blurs.."

The elf shouted at Ling Tian,

"This concludes the test, please follow me..."

Ling Tian followed her into the exit and spoke to her,

"Did I pass or something?" he asked her.

"Yes." she said.

"But before I go, may I ask your name?" told Ling Tian to her.

"The name's Anna. Anna Lightheart. Go here at 9 AM tomorrow. I will be showing you around the guild." she said to her softly.
