The Adventurer System

Chapter 133 - Save The Slave

"Bring us to the Draven sea!"

The blue crystal released a circular radiance that easily enveloped, Amiya, Yuki, Asarki, Yumiro, and Chirla.

"Adventurer Grim, I-I can't Mr. Orlan will surely punish me!" Chirla yelled with a terrified tone, as she resists coming along with them.

"No, you will come with us..." Yumiro won't look at her eyes since he was persistent to know what was the reason why Chirla always had bruises on her face.

As soon as they vanished in the Orlan's inn, 5 of them were swift traveling in the blue portal with a grin on their faces.

Thud!

After a few minutes, their feet were gently landed on the white sands that had a mild heat that touched them.

The sensation of the sea was perceived by their noses, which made them relaxed. So everyone took a glance in from of them. Then seeing a glistening blue sea and sparkled as the sunlight dipped into it.

Although there were some trees surrounded them, yet it made the place more astonishing for their eyes.

"Brother Grim, let's go there! I would like to see it at a closer distance!" Yuki cheerfully said, then charged into the seashore.

"Wait, Yuki! Don't rush there, we don't know if there's a monster here." Asarki warned him with a worried tone.

"Don't worry, Asarki. She will be fine, there are no monsters inhabited in this sea." Amiya said with a pleasant tone, eventually smile at her.

"If you say so... Then, okay, Ms. Aoiri." Asarki responded.

"Don't call me Miss, Asarki. Actually, I'm younger than you, so Aoiri it's fine with me." Amiya said.

Asarki lifted her head a bit, then smile again at her once again. "Yes, Aoiri!"

...

But on the other hand, Yumiro looking at the woman sitting on the white sand with a trembled body.

"What's your problem, huh? We are here to enjoy, so there's no reason for you to acting like that." Yumiro said while his brows frowned.

"No, adventurer Grim! You didn't understand my situation, M-Mr. Orlan will punish me. I broke again my contract." Chirla stuttered, then held her head with a terrifying reaction while mumbling some words.

"Calm down, Chirla. Don't worry I'll talk to him later. So for now, enjoy the relaxation experience given by the sea." Amiya took a deep breath, to demonstrate to Chirla what was the sea could give.

Chirla shook her head along with her hands, by doing this. The 3 adventurers seemed worried about her.

"Even you talk to him, he will still punish me without making any second thought. He just waits for you to leave." By her reaction and the way how she moved, Chirla perhaps won't lie to them. As it was the daily occurrence of her life with Orlan.

Asarki placed her hand under her chin, then nodded with few times. As she agreed with Chirla's word. "Grim, she's right. Chirla is a contracted slave, every time she violated one of her contracts. Her owner will do everything to teach her a lesson."

'Orlan is also a strong adventurer in the VR world, that eventually, stopped for making an expedition. As he decided his little, by making business here.' Amiya thought as she knew even her, would have a hard time if Orlan attacks them since they took his slave.

Yumiro contemplated to her, seeing her frustrated for something. Although, he was always confused, making inappropriate decisions, and kept creating a problem in the VR world even in the real world. But this time, he knew the best way how to save Chirla from the despair she experienced.

"You want to be free?" Yumiro asked her nonchalantly.

Then suddenly, Asarki and Amiya hurriedly took a glance at her.

"What did you say?!" They said at once.

"Brother Grim, I think you're ruled by your emotions. Let's sort things out, and make a new plan. We don't need to rush the stuff here." Amiya said with a worried tone, as he knew her brother was always making reckless decisions.

"Grim, your sister is right. We can't make a wise plan if you suddenly decided to free her." Asarki said with her voice raised a bit.

Yumiro slowly placed his index finger in front of his lips along with a serious expression on his face.

"I'm not asking you, so please, let's give her time for she decides." Yumiro said in a low voice.

Asarki wouldn't surprise with Grim's reaction, yet, Amiya knitted her forehead as she didn't expect her brother would take this seriously, and without knowing taking the other slaves was against the VR world rules.

In her mind, her brother could be imprisoned for 6 months and unable to have an expedition and didn't give special quest from the system.

Yumiro kneeled closer to Chirla with a stolid expression. However, he was avoiding making any physical contact with other creatures, he didn't bother about it. Since his mind telling, this cat woman was just an NPC, and wouldn't betray him as it was proven by the elves race.

"Now Chirla, you want to be free?" Yumiro asked her once again, in his mind, his action depend on Chirla's decision.

The only thing they could hear right now was the wave the slapped to the seashore and the chirping of the lovely bird in the blue skies.

Tears formed in the corner of Chirla's eyes and hastily said. "I want to be free, adventurer Grim! So please! Help me!" Then suddenly her tears welled in her eyes.

Ding!

As soon as Chirla accepted the help gave by Grim Draigh, a new blue view screen appeared right before his eyes with an indication of a new quest.

[New quest arrived!!!]

[Chirla] wants to be free from being a slave. Help him to achieve her goal.

Rewards: +3 skill points, +1 synergy stone, and 5 free attributes.

Yumiro smirked after reading the context of the elevated screen. He then gently patted Chirla's head.

"So don't worry right now, you need some rest and enjoy this beautiful place, okay?" Yumiro said with a weak tone.

Her tears splashed out of her eyes, as she smiled at Yumiro. "Yes, adventurer Grim."

"That's good, so for now, just leave everything to me." Yumiro said, then pushed himself into a stood-up position.

But on the other side, Asarki and Amiya were confused and has had different thoughts in their minds.

"He's actually, Grim? Why is he suddenly acting like that? He seems a different person, someone tells me what is literally going on here.' Asarki thought as she wondered if Grim had a different personality. Since sometimes he treats others like his closest friend. But sometimes, he disrespected them with his mouth and cold socialization.

'T-That is a quest, I'm sure about that. The dinging sound and the flickered screen. I-I could tell, why brother had a quest by just saving this NPC.' Amiya thought as she was assured her brother shouldn't get any quest from saving other slaves.

"Hey, both of you! For what you're dumbfounded there?! Get over here, we need to find some food." Yumiro yelled not too far away from them.

Asarki and Amiya flinched at the same time. As Yumiro's words brought back their senses.

"Yes, I'm coming, brother Grim." Amiya replied with a clueless tone.

"Eh?! Why I'm here? I supposedly getting prepare for the guild selection." At this time, Asarki realised that she had accidentally been brought by teleportation crystal. Since Yuki held her hand when Aoiri activated the crystal.

"What's the problem, Asarki? Why are you yelling?" Amiya asked her with a pleasant tone?

"Eh... Nothing, Ms. Aoiri. I just remembered something." Asarki replied with an uneasy smile. Moreover, she hasn't had enough courage to tell that she needs to leave.

"Hmm... If you say so, let's help them to find some food." Amiya said, then remembered something so she raised her index finger. "Also, don't call miss, we are just the same here."

"Sorry Aoiri, I forgot. I didn't expect that I could see you here, and you're the sister of Grim." Asarki patted her head as she felt uncomfortable walking with a popular adventurer. Although Grim and Alison were also popular, it's quite different since they had never had a deep conversation or interaction.

"Just be yourself, I don't eat people." Amiya laughed, so the ambiance would change.

Asarki laughed. "Yeah, you're right I don't need to feel tense."

'She quite honest.' Amiya thought.

"So tell me, how's my brother in the expedition," Amiya asked her while looking at the clear blue skies.

Then suddenly. "He's arrogant, bad mouth, and didn't care what other feelings." Asarki frowned her brows as she carried away with her words. "Sorry, Aoiri. But this is how he shows to me, but he's quite strong, really strong."

Amiya won't be upset with Asarki's words, as she seems already expecting this. "Being on behalf of my brother, I'm so sorry. But still, I couldn't blame him if he didn't trust anyone here."

"No, no, no, Aoiri. You don't need to apologize." Asarki shook her head along with her hands.

"Sorry to intrude your privacy, but how he became like this?" Asarki asked.
