The Adventurer System

Chapter 150 - A New Member

Yumiro pointed his index finger into the silver boots that had a golden lining on the knee, and each side of legs down to the foot.

[Sipad boots <Item type C>]

> +5% agility

>Any class

> Could promote up to Level 7 B+

> Requirements for promotion +1 synergy stone +2 titanium +1 magic stone (optional)

All the boots here had the same description, yet this was the item that caught his attention. Yumiro took the Sipad boots and wore them.

Bam! Bam!

He jumped twice, then shortly run within 7 meters distance inside the shop.

"Oh, this is nice. No crumbling of metals and I feel my speed is enhanced a bit." He said, then kneaded his chin.

"Wow... Do you like this kind of boots, Grim?" Asarki asked him while holding the item she picked up for Yuki.

However, Yumiro won't mind her question as he confronted her for the items. "This is the items that you get?"

She nodded. "Yes, I make sure that I pick up light items, so Yuki could stabilize it in no time."

His eyes were perceived, a silver knife, one brown armor that had good defense in magic and physical attack.

"Bring back the silver knife." Yumiro said and walked towards the cashier station.

"Eh, why?" Asarki wondered.

"Did you forget? Do I have a worthy knife inside my inventory? Yuki will use that weapon." Yumiro explained and waited for Karmlito to come back.

Asarki nodded few times, as she remembered the weapon Grim gave to her. "Inventory..." She took the Kobold's knife.

"This is what are you talking about?"

"Yeah..."

"Okay, I guess have no complain also I want to get back it to you." Asarki bestowed the knife on the wooden desk.

"No, take it. So you can also protect Yuki." In his mind, there was a time Yumiro could protect Yuki. It means it was better if someone took care of her since the hard circumstances would never be avoided.

"B-But it is a valuable weapon, are you sure about this?" Asarki confirmed, so they could prevent conflict because of the weapon.

"Yeah..."

Asarki took back the Kobold's knife inside her inventory, then bowed her head. "Thank you, Grim."

And again, Yumiro won't mind her words just stared at her without showing any expression.

10 minutes had easily passed, Yumiro already kept tapping his right foot on the surface. "Where is he? Why is he taking so long?"

"That is customized collar, Grim. So expect it will eat a lot of your time." Asarki explained that once the metal was made in this world, it needed a cooling time. So it could wear directly after it finished.

"I know it. Oh, I remember did you find any place where Yuki could train to fight a monster?" He asked, then turned into her.

She shook her head. "Honestly, I didn't find the place you mentioned."

"Tch! Why?"

"Bring here where we are having expedition, at first Yuki didn't need to fight the monster. Just give her an experience so you could increase her status.

In the VR world, once the NPC got contracted for being a slave. The owner will be responsible for handling its status.

"When we see her status was able to fight, we can let him. But for now, let Yuki pick up all the loots in the expedition."

"Experience, loots, huh? Since you're good with this stuff, let me help this one." Yumiro bowed his head a bit, which made Asarki startled.

"O-Okay? No problem." She responded.

"One more thing." Yumiro suddenly wanted to ask for something.

"What is it?"

"How do the skill points work? I get it but I didn't how I can use it?" He gently rubbed his white hair along with uncomfortable on his face.

"Oh, that's all? The skill points are used to buy a new skill, yet the system made the skill you will acquire is random. Or to be exact, it would be based on your class and the current status that you have."

Yumiro now understood why he always had a hard time getting a new skill as he never used it. Although he acquired some still, it was enough to make a combo attack.

"Also, it could upgrade the current skill that you have. You can promote it so it could become level 2."

Somehow, all the questions inside his head were answered. Yumiro was knowledgeable about how the skill points work which means he will have a new skill.

Bam!

After a few more minutes, Kamrlito passed to the metal door while holding a pink metal collar.

"Sheesh! It's hard to do it if I know the strong adventurers waiting for me outside. You can have it."

A pink metal collar that had a decoration of multiple hearts saw by their eyes.

Asarki bowed her head. "Thank you, Mr. Karmlito. For doing so much favor to us."

"No, no, no, it's fine. Also, this is the way to pay you for my rudeness behavior earlier."

"How much is it?" Yumiro won't worry about the price since Orlan took back the 100 gold coins.

"No, you can take it for free." Karmlito shook his head along with his hand.

"No, I'll pay for that. So I can come back here if I want you to forge something." Yumiro took out the brown pouch.

"15 silver coins is fine." Even though the collar price was around 2 or 4 gold coins, Karmlito still bargained his items.

"Give me 20 HP potions, 20 MP potions, and those items I'll buy it. So tell me how much it cost." Yumiro said in a cold tone.

The real price of the Sipad boot was around 15 to 18 gold coins. And the potion in this shop was just a low-grade potion, which means the price of each potion wax +20 silver coins.

"The potions it's 8 gold coins, the sipad boots are 18 gold coins, this armor is just 2 gold coins, and the collar is free. The total price is 28 gold coins."

Yumiro put all the items inside his inventory without any hesitation as he already wore the Sipad boots.

"Here, thanks for the item. Oh, one more thing tell me if you have an item for a brawler class because my gauntlet is already destroyed from my last fight." Yumiro placed the one brown pouch and invited Asarki to leave the place.

"Yes, I will! Please come back here!" Karmlito responded with shivered legs.

"Thank you so much, Mr. Karmlito. Sorry, we are in hurry!" Asarki waved her hand and closed the door.

Bam!

"Phew! I can breath freely." He sighed as he felt relieved. "Thanks, they leave."

In his mind, he didn't get extra profit since he was terrified with Grim Draigh's eyes. "I should respect that man, I feel he has a different level among the adventurers who always come here. However, I should count these gold coins."

He poured all the coins inside of the brown pouch on the wooden desk.

The sound of rumbling coins perceived his ears, and over it, he was startled seeing how many coins Grim Draigh paid him.

"I-It can be... Why he paid me 50 gold coins for this? Did he double my profit?" He cheerfully jumped around since it was a good start for him to buy a new weapon to sell.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you so much Grim Draigh! Please come back here!" He ran directly to the shop's main door.

However, the scouts heard him so they were quickly entered his shop.

...

On the other hand, Asarki frowned her brows as she overheard Karmlito echoed a voice that directly went to them.

"What did you do, Grim? Mr. Karmlito seemed so happy." Asarki asked.

"I don't know? Or he must be out of his mind." Yumiro said, then stopped in front of the street.

Asarki, Yuki, and Chirla were stopped. "Chirla, we are having an expedition. Seemingly it's time to say goodbye?" Yumiro said with a weak tone.

"Huh?! Where I'm going right now?" Chirla responded, and his tears started to form in the corner of her eyes.

"Look for some hotel for now, so you could enjoy your life." Yumiro suggested, then took a glance at Asarki. "Oi! Help me here, don't just watch."

"Eh? Why me? You're the one who takes over her from Orlan. So she's your responsibility."

"W-What did you say?! I just help her."

"Yeah, you're right. Take care of her." Asarki whirled around.

Yumiro clicked his tongue. "Tch! This woman." He turned once again to Chirla. "What are you planning to do right now?"

Chirla knitted her forehead, as she was thinking deeply. "Hmm... As of now, my plain is... nothing."

"Eh!" Yumiro and Asarki said at once.

"But one thing I'm sure, I want to come along with you."

"No, we are going to a perilous place. You might die." Asarki warned her.

"I don't care, Adventurer Asarki. My heart and loyalty are devoted to Adventurer Grim. So please, bring me!"

"Grim, what you've done! It's your decision." Asarki yelled and proceeded straight forward.

"Hey! Hey! Where are you going to come back here! Jeez, come on Chirla. Let's go!"
