The Adventurer System

Chapter 151 - Start In A Maze

A young man with long silver-white hair deeply sighed, as he couldn't do anything to stop Chirla from coming along to their expedition.

"Sheesh, okay! You're responsible for caring and protecting Yuki." Yumiro said, eventually followed Asarki in her way.

Based on their position, Asarki planned to leave the Adventure Capital and headed to the teleportation zone.

"Leave him to me, Adventurer Grim." Chirla cheerfully responded, then turned. "Isn't it, Yuki?"

"Yes!"

...

"Where did you plan to go?" He asked her while gazing around.

"I just think, it's too risky for us if we went to any Dungeon." Asarki replied.

"Yeah, just tell me where did you plan to go."

"At the Tyrant forest, the monster there isn't hard to deal with. It's great for us if we are going to train in that place. Or to be an exact low-rank forest."

Yumiro remembered the place, it was the location before he dropped to the Green frog monster.

"I don't think this is a good idea, we can't have any development there." He was bothered as he noticed the exp he received wasn't that kind of high.

"Why not? That place is still meeting the scope in the level we had right now. We can't afford if we go to a new perilous place or dungeon." She explained, then stopped. "The Tyrant forest is within walking distance, so in 30 or 40 minutes we could reach the place."

In what he recalled, he reached the forest around 10-15 minutes. However, he still didn't want Asarki's recommendation.

"Let's head to the other place." He said in a low voice.

"Eh? Why all of sudden? This is the only place I think Yuki and me could catch up with the monster."

At this point, Yumiro discovered Asarki didn't fight the monsters back then. Yet, one thing wasn't clear inside his mind.

'Where class does this woman belong? I can't tell it by just looking at her outward appearance.' He wondered, but he wasn't in the right position to ask her.

"Change our destination, you don't know any place?"

"I have, but you didn't see Chirla and Yuki are coming with us. They could die there." Asarki thinking logically. "If you want to go there, we need to recruit at least two new members that had levels 26-30."

"We won't recruit anyone if you insist it let's separate our path right now." Yumiro suggested without making any second thought.

"Eh? Are you in your head? Recruiting new members is a daily occurrence in this game. You should think about it."

Asarki explained that recruiting 2 members could fill up the blind spot in their upcoming expedition. Moreover, they could lessen the jobs by taking down a certain monster at once.

"No matter what you say, I won't agree with your decision."

"Jeez! You're so hard-headed, there are tons of casualties if we decided recklessly." Asarki was persistent to encourage him.

"Already take it 4 years ago." He murmured, then stared at her with a cold eye. "Now, you decided, leave right now or find the dungeon that I want."

"Why are you commanding me? Did you think because you're strong I always follow your order, even it isn't right? Go find a dungeon with yourself!" Asarki yelled even though everyone was taking a glance at them.

"Brother Grim, please calm down. Why are you so mad, I'm sca-scared?" Yuki immediately stopped their argument by showing her body was trembling.

Yumiro took a deep breath, then kneeled on the marble surface with one knee. "You don't need to be scare, Yuki. We are heading to a different place."

"If really worried about her, why are you bringing her to a dangerous place. You gotta be kidding me."

Yumiro barely tilted his head. "Do you think I could grow in that place?"

"Yes! You're still level 20, you could receive 50 exp from killing each monster." Amiya soughed of irritation.

"Cut that crap! I will not kill 44 monsters just to level up, let's go Yuki and Chirla." Yumiro stood up and opened his function to look for any dungeon here.

"W-Wait, what did you say? 44 monsters?" She stuttered as she couldn't believe what she heard.

"You're not deaf to repeat all the words, come on we are wasting our time here." Yumiro said as he planning to leave even he hasn't had any concrete information.

"What are you trying to say? You need to fill 2200 experience before you level up. It's impossible, your requirements to level supposedly just like me, 1050 experience." Asarki opened the function screen.

[Asarki Level.20 (109/1050)]

Yumiro wouldn't wonder about it. Since he had double attributes, however, he provoked Asarki words. As it saying, he wasn't stating the fact, so he also opened his screen without showing any small details about his status or zexel.

[Grim Draigh Level.20 (1181/2200)]

Asarki was startled as she couldn't believe what her eyes seeing right now. She blinked a couple of times just to assure her eyes won't deceive her, yet she received the same result.

"What on earth happened to you? This is too much exp, why?" Asarki asked.

"I don't think I need to answer your question. Bye." He slowly waved his hand, while gently tugging the two NPC in a different path.

"W-Wait, I apologize!" Asarki deeply bowed her head. "You're right, you will not grow at the Tyrant forest."

"Yeah, I already told you. So let us we need to leave."

"I said wait! I know the place that you're needed, I already had been there once." Asarki suggested.

"Are you always like to waste my time, isn't it? Come on, spill the tea." Yumiro was eager to leave the place since the adventurers around them started him to recognize.

"Tch! It's called Barlane Dungeon."

"Barlane Dungeon? Tell me more about it." Yumiro asked.

"In this dungeon, not only the monsters our opponent. Also, the structure of the place."/

"The place, why because of the traps?"

"Yeah, you're right. Traps, and some tricks, also this place is called " The Dungeon maze."

"Is that so? Let's move there, I don't want to be here." Yumiro ordered him in a cold tone.

"Why you always in a hurry, fine! Come closer to me!" Asarki said, then everyone followed her. "Bring us to the Barlane Dungeon!"

Swoosh!

Chirla, Asarki, Yumiro, and Yuki teleported under the huge tree. Moreover, they have heard a mild chirping of the birds.

They looked around, seeing the place was covered by grassland.

"Where's the dungeon here? I can't feel the monsters' existence here." Yumiro said with a weak tone.

"Of course, I don't want to surround by numerous monsters. Sheesh! You're rushing too much that supposedly not."

Asarki sat on the grass. "Let's have a plan, we should assure this expedition. No casualties and worst-case scenario."

Yumiro nodded, so ambled closer to the tree. "What's your plan?"

"Wrong question, are you ready with your plan?" Asarki said with an anxious face.

Yumiro swallowed his saliva, as he already knew what those words were about. To be specific, at this point, Yuki needed to become a slave.

"Yuki, are you okay with it? There's no turning back once you accept it."

"100% sure, brother Grim. Also, I already said no matter what happens to me here, I would never blame anyone."

"She accepted it, Grim. Do the process."

Yumiro barely nodded. "Okay..." He opened the function screen. "What I should put in the contract."

"There is one thing, the exp you will receive would be divided into 50% by doing this Yuki could receive exp. And the rest of the contract depends on you."

To be more precise, when Yumiro took 100 exp from killing the monsters it will divide by 50% which means the exp he received was around 50. In their current situation, Asarki belonged to their party raid, which means once they get 100 exp Asarki would receive 50 exp and Yumiro would also get 50, however, since Yuki was his slave the total amount he could get was just 25.

[Giving a title to an NPC as a slave]

[Contract]

- The owner and slave would share from the experience.

- no collar.

- her power it's my power and my power is her power.

He showed the screen to Asarki. "Take a look, this is fine?"

Asarki suddenly chuckled. "What are you putting in it? Hahaha, the owner's strength would never transmit into its slave. This game Grim, so expect it will be handled by the system. Delete the number 3 in the contract, and try the second one."

"Okay, I'll get it." After hearing his words, he deleted the number 3 in the contract. "I should pass it?"

"Yeah, it's your choice."

[Contract has been processed! Failed!]

Reason(s)

- The slave has needed a collar, so we could determine who's the owner.

Since it was a usual occurrence in the VR world, the system has already fixed it.

"At least you try." Asarki grinned at him.

"Okay, I should put in this contract."

"Hey what are you doing?! You wasting your chance!"

Asarki worried as Grim put something in the contract.

[The contract for giving a title from the slave is processing...]
