The Adventurer System

Chapter 189 - Take The Advice

Huff... Huff...

Hippie, Cricket, and Morga were worriedly looking at the man who was having heavily breathing and anxious face.

"Leader Grim, what happened? Are you alright?" Morga moved towards him, yet, she stopped as Grim raised his left hand.

"Step back, give me some time." He said in a low tone, he then bowed his head.

The great imperial dragon the exact world that made his mind confused. On top of that, he was thinking if he will take the advice of the unknown creature.

3 of them waited for Grim to back his senses. Knowing there was an unexpected scene that happened after they left him.

Sweat was slowly forming on his head. "What should I do? This is no joke, Kite knew my personal information." He mumbled and didn't care if there were adventurers watching him.

It took few moments. Before Grim stood up and glimpsed at the remaining portal. In front of him, was a red and black portal that represented something.

"Did you know who's Kite? Anyone?" Yumiro asked them with a curious tone.

All of them were looking at each other along with their wondered eyes. And eventually, they shook their head at once as none of them knew who was the Kite guy.

"No? That's a player?" Morga asked and opened her function screen. "If you want, I can find him here."

[Search Adventurer]

Morga showed her screen, so everyone even Grim glimpsed into it.

"Can you find him there?" It caught his attention, so he sauntered closer to her. To witness it by himself.

"Yeah, all the adventurers are registered here. But you must know his precise screen name since the system didn't give any hint."

She clicked the search bar and the keyboard appeared. "His screen name is Kite, right?" She typed the name, then took a glance at Grim.

He slowly nodded. "Yes, it's Kite."

Hearing his words, Morga clicked the search icon. And the screen turned into a blue blank page as the system carefully finding the given name.

Click!

"Here, Grim. There's a result." Morga said, then moved her elevated screen in front of Grim.

"Yeah..."

[Kite Lvl.13 adventurer Class: Tank]

Yumiro slowly shook his head as he was sure this was not the man that he was looking for.

"No, it's not him." He said and gave back her screen. "Look for another, he's not him."

Morga scoffed as she didn't know how she possibly do that. "It's impossible, Grim. This is the only Kite in this game."

In the VR world, only one player could claim the one screen name. So the system avoids misleading the adventurers.

She's right, there's no other way to find it. "Why you're interested in that man?" She asked.

"He approached me earlier before I enter the portal. He said he was Kite the Great Imperial Dragon." Yumiro kneaded his chin, while narrowly looking at the brown ceiling.

Or to be exact, they were standing next to the white podium. Where also the two remaining portals were positioned.

"L-Leader Grim? W-What did you say? The Great Imperial Dragon?" Cricket stuttered and was literally shocked at the same time.

Moreover, Hippie and Morga have the same reaction as Cricket. As three of them seemed to have a clue what was the Great Imperial Dragon really means.

"Are you sure about this, Grim? If you wanted to be funny I'll tell it to you, this is not the right time." Hippie patted his shoulder along with her serious eyes.

"Yeah, I don't have Alzheimer's. That's the exact word I heard." Yumiro mildly slapped away her hand as no one should touch him in this expedition.

Cricket was slowly walking to Grim's location. And didn't know if his legs were trembling because he was afraid or in such excitement.

"What seemed to be the problem? That's why I ask all of you if you've information in Kite guy." He said and turned around, as he felt his party members were acting strange.

"Leader Grim, aside from Kite's name. Why the other thing he told you." Morga asked him in a serious tone.

"Tch! He said stop the digging the story of the Barlane dungeon, and leave this place for good." Grim rolled his eyes and added. "Also, Kite said I need to find him, I'm your way to the Heaven's Dream."

Three adventurers felt there was something pumped inside their chest. As no one from the other high-level adventurers personally met the Great Imperial Dragon.

"You should take his advice seriously." Cricket suggested.

"Eh? Why? This is the first time I met that guy. And you now telling me that I need to believe in him?" Grim was confused since he was the only one who didn't know was the true ability of the Imperial Dragon in this world.

"You should, Grim. Or rather to say we need to leave this place." Hippie said with her glistening eyes. "Grim, the Great Imperial Dragon in this world is like a prophet. They know what will be going to happen in the future. Who will die, win, or complete the Legendary Dungeon."

Now, Yumiro could tell why those adventurers were acting strange. On top of that, he already knew the main reason why all of them were trying to convince him. Even though, none of them saw Kite's outward appearance.

"Oh... That's why..." Yumiro exhales sharply, but at the moment he barely lifted his head. Morga, Cricket, and Hippie were hurriedly coming to him. "Oi! What the heck!"

"Yu-hoo!"

"Grim what is the feeling facing the Great imperial dragon?!"

"You're so lucky, leader Grim. You've got a chance to tame that dragon and take his ability!"

"Grim, don't forget us! We will be looking forward to your achievement in this game!"

"Damn, man! I didn't expect Kita is already watching you. You should be grateful, we want to see you in an above." Cricket said while pointing his index finger above them.

Those words were his party raid members fetched. Mixed emotion bursting inside his chest, but he thought it was better if he hide it.

"Okay, if Kite is a prophet. We must follow his advice. We will leave this place." He ordered them, he then darted eyes at Hippie. "Give them, all the cores and items we took in the orange portal. I think we get enough."

All the items of dead Gobogrens were bestowed to Morga and Cricket. Other than that, was the giant core of spiders and its web.

"Grim, are really giving it to us?" Morga was astonished as she didn't anticipate she could those loots in just a short time.

He nodded, "Yeah, you must get it before I change my mind."

Morga was merrily shaking her head. "No, Grim. We will take it, thank you so much." She deeply bowed.

However, that wasn't the main reason why Grim Draigh bestowed all those valuable loots. Earn their loyalty was the right he needed to do. Because at this point, he believed Morga, Cricket, Hippie, and including Asarki, Chirla, and Yuki. Those were the adventurers he needed to reach the Heaven's Dream.

'I believe you in the meantime, Kite.' He uttered to his mind. He then opened his function screen.

[Grim invited to become his friend(s)? Yes/No]

Cricket and Morga received the same notification. So it was inevitable to glimpse at Grim's place.

"This is true, Grim? You want us to become your friends?" Both of them asked him at once.

"You already received the notification on screen, isn't it? If you don't want I'll cancel the invitation." Yumiro pretended that he was going for it.

"No! No! No! We want it. But, why? Morga asked once more.

"Hmm... I'll call two of you if I'm going expedition in another dungeon."

[Friend request accepted!]

A screen popped up, but, he closed that tab and call Asarki by using the system function.

[Friend(s) - Asarki ° online]

[You would like to call Asarki? Yes/No]

"Yes!"

Ring...

All of them heard the same sound, but at the same time, they were curious who was the adventurers Grim going to talk to.

Brtt!

Asarki accepted the call, then her face appeared on Grim's mini screen.

"Finally, you've made the call! Why are you taking so long?" Asarki gently tugged something and showed that Yuki was beside her. "Look, Yuki's worried about you. You must come here right now!"

Based on the background, Chirla, Asarki, and Yuki were staying inside a luxurious room.

He scratched the back of his head while the sweat on his forehead was slowly dripping to his temple.

"Yeah, we are going in that place right now. I apologize, Yuki." He said in a low voice.

"We? Who the other one." Asarki asked him out of curiosity.

Hippie gladly waved her hand on the camera.

"Oh... her..." Asarki sighed and added. "We are in the mid-realm hotel. You should hurry, I need to train. Tch!"

Beep! Beep!

After those words, the call was ended, and Hippie was suspiciously looking at him.

"Grim, I think your wife is mad at me?"
