The Adventurer System

Yumiro snickering on his face while looking at Roshy's back as she ambled in the straight path. Where the vivid flowers dancing around her.

Unexpectedly, Roshy turned as she noticed Grim would not following her. Then took a glimpse at Grim, seeing him standby and dumbfounded.

"Where did you think looking at, huh? If you won't hurry there's a chance I change my mind." She smirked, then looking forward to seeing if this man would get react to her mocking words and tone.

Even though he heard those words, he won't mind it. Just followed her to their current destination.

In his mind, if this woman presenting to buy him a weapon, there was no reason to turn it down. Since it will benefit him as an adventurer in the VR world.

After they passed at the high fences, both of them were directly aimed at the main Adventure Capital. To look for some weapon for Grim Draigh, yet a problem was, Yumiro hasn't had any idea what specific weapon suited him.

"I'll buy you a weapon, but don't expect it's already upgraded. Because it will cost tons of cons." Roshy reminded him without looking back. 

In the VR world, all the weapons or items used by the adventurers could be promoted to different levels. By forging the materials that are required in a certain item.

To be more specific, once you collected all the resources need to update your item. You will jump to the second stage which is called "Forging". This process is tougher than the other steps as it only had a success rate of 40:60. 40% for success and 60% failed.

If the forging is failed, the item would straightaway vanish in the VR world. Yet if you succeeded, you will head to the next step which is called " Finalization". This process is most easy than the first two. Because this is the part you're going to give a name in your upgraded weapon and could add some magic by using rare magic stone.

"Yeah, don't worry. I would never expect too much from you." Yumiro said in a cold tone.

As expected, she was annoyed so she gritted her teeth. As she was wondering how she could handle this man.

10 minutes had easily passed, Roshy and Yumiro were reached the bridge. When under it, was the lake that you still saw the glistening stones underneath.

From afar, they were seeing huge gold abbreviation of A.C which determined the Adventurer Capital. Nevertheless, it was positioned over the enormous gate that guarding by the NPC soldiers. 

"What now?"

Even they were immediate to enter the huge gate, Yumiro still had no idea what kind of weapon he was going to choose. So in this type of situation, it was inevitable to ask for Roshy's knowledge.

"What do you think is the suitable weapon for me?" You could he felt uneasy to initiate a conversation.

"Hais... It is always based on your class. Check your status you probably see it there." She replied.

He opened the character function screen even the other adventurers passed by next to him.

"What are you doing, Grim?!" Roshy forcefully tugged him into the other place along with an anxious expression on her face.

Moreover, Yumiro brought in the street of the capital. To the place where you could see was only dark.

"Are you out of your mind?! Why you suddenly reveal your character's status, in front of the other adventurers!" Roshy yelled and her voice echoed in the covered place. Yet, she quickly checked the area if someone shadowing them.

"I'll just do what you said, why? There's a problem with it?" He said in a low voice.

Roshy deeply sighed as she felt relieved. Since the area was clear and had no sign of terrible intentions.

"Yes! We will be having a big problem if someone saw your character's stats."

"Eh?"

"First of all, you have two zexel and it can trigger them to shadow you. Also, did you already forget? The other recruiters are still looking for you, so as much as possible avoid making a scene here. To do not get their attention." 

After she said those words and fixed herself, she then facing the street exit.

Seemingly he understood what was Roshy plotting about. Also, admitted he committed a reckless action at this point.

"My bad, I'm not aware with this stuff." He patted his head all over.

"We are just lucky because keeping an eye on the other adventurers is usually occurrence for those who had potentials." She said to warn him.

"Grim, you should check your class. So we can decide which weapon will you wield."

Somehow, she was envious of this man. In her mind, why the system granted him two zexel? Even though Grim hadn't enough knowledge about the game.

He nodded, then opened the function screen once again. While scrolling the screen and smoothly kneaded his chin at the same time. As he noticed he stopped growing after he fought the green frog.

"Unknown? What does it mean, or what kind of weapon I should use" He stared at her with curious eyes.

Then suddenly, Roshy slowly turned with an uncomfortable smile on her face. As she was look humiliated in what she heard.

After a few seconds, she charged towards him while stretching his hands out. To be specific, Roshy wanted to figure out of this man was saying the truth.

"W-What did you say, unknown?" She stuttered "Let me see it!" She went through it directly on Yumiro's screen.

She was totally humiliated. Her hair fell in front of her eyes and eventually smirked at him. "W-why? Why he's fully loaded of ability? His stats aren't ordinary, if he tries to kill me, he can do it in an instant. I should avoid pissing off this man."

But on the other hand, she hasn't any plan to tell him his capabilities because she will definitely be left behind, and lost the chance to step on Heaven's dream.

"Adventurer learned their sub-class when they're reached Lvl.60. If the warrior chooses its subclass as a mage it will be a fighter mage, but Grim can be everything." She sighed and decided to leave the dark street.

"Heh, heh, let's find your weapon so we can leave here," Roshy said unconfidently.

"Okay, but what kind of weapon I'll pick?"

"Pick whatever you want, it will depend on your decision."

"Why she's acting strange?" He said and eventually followed Roshy in her way.

After they went off of the street, the place was surrounded by numerous high structures. It was way more looked like a Kingdom.

On each side, he saw different shops and flying adventurers in the skies, it was like they were surfing in the clouds. It seemed those boards were the reason why they were flying. Moreover, this must also thing they use as transportation if teleportation wasn't available.

Although he was astonished by the place, still he couldn't focus on it. Since next to him were hundreds of adventurers wandering around, as they looking for resources in their expedition.

"It seem this is not a good plan, we should leave this place right now. Might be the other adventurers recognise my screen name?" Yumiro murmured to Roshy as they were already sandwiches by the adventurers.

"No, just act it like a normal. All the screen name here is a rumble, so they will having a hard time to read it. Unless one of them is your friend, look at our screen name it's lightened by different colors."

He noticed it and said. "Oh, I see..."

After 30 minutes of walked, the two of them stopped in front of the shops. It had transparent glass that you could see inside of it was different of weapon and armour.

Roshy opened the door, "Grim, let's find your weapon."

He nodded a bit then followed her inside. Once he entered, his eyes were strolled in the weapon like a spear, morning star, knife, wands, swords, and other stuff.

"Good morning, Adventurers! Welcome to Karmlito shop. Where you can find all the affordable equipment."

"Good morning." They said at once.

"What bring you here, adventurers?"

While Roshy gazing around, "Just picking for a new weapon, we are short now. What kind of weapon do you offer? To be exact, what weapon we can buy in 100 gold."

In the VR world, 100 silver= 1gold, 100 gold= 1 platinum. Platinum is the highest currency since it had the resources that could transmit magic.

"Yes, we have it." The middle-aged man with blonde hair and mustache pointed his index finger in the dark side of the shop.

"Okay, thank you. Let's go, Gr..." She couldn't complete her words, after seeing Grim already wandered inside the shops. So she followed him.

"Roshy, I want this," Yumiro said with a weak tone, while his grasp was the rusty gauntlet.
