The Adventurer System

Chapter 48 - Being Prospect

They were both surprised to see that the number of adventurers who came close to their location totaled 1200 players.

Yumiro immediately hid with Roshy inside the small cave where the moonlight cannot reach. Also, they could see the torches approaching their location.

"Jeez, why is this dungeon suddenly surrounded by adventurers? Aside from that, Roshy, why are you questioning me about what I've done? Is there anything I did wrong here?" Yumiro crawled unhurriedly to the cave's endpoint, where the only position available was to lie down on the surface.

Roshy laughed when he saw his position. "Did you even realize it? They're after you again now that you've completed the hidden quest on your own."

"So, what's the point of your laughter? Do you believe we can reclaim your weapon if this continues?" With a hasty tone, he said

She gradually realized that Grim was correct; if they went outside, the adventurers would surround them, decreasing their chances of finding Uzui's party.

She snorted. "W...Wait! What should we do right now? We need to get my item back right away because there's a chance they'll flee as the number of adventurers here grows." She was terrified of not being able to reclaim the item that had been forcefully taken from her. But her eyes told me that wasn't the only reason she was there.

"We should wait; I'm powerless to intervene. If I show myself again, there's an adventurer who wants to kill me, but that never occurs to you?"

Being a prospect of the powerful guilds made it difficult for him to walk around right now. He was bothered because he had no idea what kind of adventurers he would encounter if that time came.

"We can sneak Grim, and I'm confident we'll find them. At this rate, no one will recognize your presence here; the dark place is currently our allies." She pursued him as she couldn't pass up the opportunity to steal the rare items of those adventurers.

"Tch! Wait for those adventurers to pass, and in the meantime, let me think of a plan." Following those words, the area was surrounded by the sound of crickets. He was pondering something near the cave's exit.

"Do you happen to see him? This is your chance to accompany him." A strong voice was heard where the torches were lit.

Then, out of nowhere, they heard a voice from a man not far away. So they concentrated all of their attention on observing them and determining what items they required.

"There are no hints, sir. Don't worry, sir, we won't stop until we find him; right now, the only places he can go are the adventure capital and this dungeon." A man with a clear voice spoke up.

"I have a request from you: call our guild members and tell them that if the boss appears, no one will attack it; instead, just fall back; I want to lure him out."

"Yes, sir! I'll make certain that this message is delivered." The man said in a clear voice.

"It was the Othopora guild that needed it, not the number one guild or the Xarki guild!" He yelled as he persisted in his efforts to recruit Grim Draigh.

"Yes, sir! Our guild will rise to the top of the rankings! But, sir, if he truly wants him, we must make him a fair offer."

"I'm aware of this, so I'll put a line here for all of my rare items. Now is the time to move forward with this recruitment; if someone offers him good trades, we will most likely lose."

"Yes, sir! I'll go over there right now and ask some of our top raiders to assist."

Yumiro crawled out of the cave as soon as he could. He squinted a few times, trying to recognize the appearance of those two adventurers. But he didn't succeed because the area was so dark, and those men were also hidden by thick trees and high bushes.

"It's a shambles!" "I want to know them, they said they will give me rare items if I join them," Yumiro said as he had already forgotten about the old man's offer he had seen on the TV screen earlier.

Roshy yanked on his black robe, then pulled him back to the same position. "Hey! Don't worry!"

"What is it?"

She covered her mouth after one of the adventurers with a firm tone responded to her voice.

"Be quiet, Grim." Roshy whispered to him, and despite the fact that they were closer, Yumiro accepted it as it was not the right situation to push her back.

[Beast eye!]

At the moment, a man with an axe on his back casts a skill. Roshy and Yumiro were drawn to his eyes as they glowed like monster eyes. Then give them a chance to catch a glimpse of the man's screen name.

"Orakitor?" Yumiro mumbled something.

Orakitor's eyes seemed to be able to see anything in the dark, almost like night vision equipment.

"I'm certain I heard a woman's voice, but how come I can't find it?" Orakitor was taken aback by the straight, which leads him to the other adventurer, who uses magic to search the area. "Hmm... I don't have any business with that woman; my attention is on Grim Draigh; that man is entertaining."

Roshy sighed deeply as Oratikor left the area, grateful for the thick trees and tall bushes that shielded their existence.

"Grim, are you a moron? There are many offers in various companies, so why do you approach him because you heard about a rare item? It will benefit your life outside of the VR world."

"No, I can sell them at a high price, am I correct?" Yumiro inquired, her face puzzled.

"Yes, you can sell it, but do you think you can sell it quickly? Think carefully, Grim; are you willing to forego a good deal from a company in exchange for a rare item? You're so naive."

"All right, now that you're my slaves, you're in charge of deciding which company should accept the offer."

"Jeez, okay, but let's not get into that." Let us concentrate on our goal right now."

"Did you hear what he said? They won't attack the boss in this dungeon, so there's no need to hurry unless Uzui decides to clear the Lynx dungeon."

"That's why I'm thinking, if they knew there were so many adventurers here, I'm sure they'd do it because the adventurers who arrive here are beyond their abilities." As a result, they will never be able to snatch an item again.

"Okay, let's go, and we'll go straight to that place. We'll take the middle path because I sense a gathering of adventurers in the dungeon's side." Yumiro said as he wanted to finish their request. "Don't worry about them; I'm a lot better now than the first time we met." He had a malicious grin on his face as the moonlight shone directly on his white hair.

"A new skill? I'm hoping this isn't an overpowered skill."
