The Adventurer System

Although Yumiro succeeded to block the rapid attack of the diffusion Ogre, still, his body was sent far away and hit the concrete wall as the Ogre had an outstanding strength also with the help of its Kanabo.

There were two types of Kanabo, the first one was the wooden type and the second one was the metal type that way more looked like a metal bat that had a metal spike. Nevertheless, the Ogre has the wooden type Kanabo that had a small spike and huge weight that could deal high damage.

Afterward, he slowly wiped the blood that spilled out his mouth. He then started at the monster with furious eyes.

The Ogre charged again, so he didn't make any second thoughts to regain his footing as he hadn't any idea what will happen after this.

Swoosh!

"No, it isn't enough. I must be the adventurer who will not take any damages from in any type of monsters." Yumiro murmured and successfully dodge the wild attack of the Ogre's Kanabo over his head. 

Swish!

He slid back and barely lifted up his body as he seeing the Ogre that had no plan to stop from keep attacking. 

"Yeah, that's right. Fight me in close combat I much comfortable with this."

He had a malicious smile on his face, other than that, he was confident that he could win this matchup. As he knew he has [Core Devourer] skill that will enhance all of his physical traits in an instant. Or to be exact, there was Kobold's core inside his inventory that specializes to have a high defense.

Swoosh!

The ogre widely swung its Kanabo, but it just landed on the ground that created a shockwave that pushed Yumiro a little bit.

[Dual spinning kick!]

Clasp!

Ogre's head shivered when Yumiro left foot touched it. However, his eyelids widened as the ogre clasped his ankle. It then threw him again to the concrete wall.

"No, can't be? I miss calculated my attack?" He asked himself even though his back whacked again in the same wall.

The diffusion ogre raised its right hand to the same level as its head. Then suddenly, a red-orange light magic circle occurred around on Ogre's Kanabo.

[Cracon lust]

"It's fire?" Yumiro already had an idea what were his eyes seeing it right now.

Red-orange particles were gathered in its Kanabo, and when the time ogre swung its Yumiro's body was surrounded by a strong fire.

[Fire lust effect activated! Your health power will reduce by 1 health points in every seconds]

"I need to remove it." He rolled many times to the ground as he knew by using the ground; the fire could vanish little by little. Also, he was panicked since that fire could drain his HP in an instant.

Even though he had a magic cloak, or easy to say the black robe that he already wore, but still, its just a level-one item, so which means not all the magical attack could deflect.

It that kind of skirmished, Yumiro's HP was decreased by 50 health points, luckily, the bleeding passive effect and the fire lust were passed off at the same time.

He placed his hands to the surface and pushed himself into a stood-up position. "It's not good, the ogre fire is different from Uzui." He mumbled and showing again his fighting posture to the monster.

"Inventory"

Yumiro clasped one item inside his inventory, it seemed he wasn't holding back to fight that monster. To be more specific, he grabbed the core of the kobolds, so he could enlarge his defense in every aspect.

Crack!

He swallowed the monster's core that easily melted on his mouth, it had a sweet savor the popped inside.

[Core devourer!]

Green shimmering scales appeared all over his body, even though the scales will affect his agility still, he didn't bother as the diffusion ogre had low agility.

"Let's be serious in this game!" He dashed again while the green scales beamed his eyes.

[Jumping Axe Kick!]

When the distance was around 5 meters, Yumiro leaped out of the surface while raising his left foot to the same level as his head.

Bam!

His attack was landed at the monster's arm, the ogre's face was knitted it seemed it felt hurt at Yumiro's attack.

"No, it can't pass to the monster's head." Yumiro said with a weak tone, he then jumped his right foot a bit, so he could gather momentum on his attack.

Boom

When his body was elevated and got the distance that he needed, he straight-kicks the monster directly to its head by using his right foot. Moreover, the ogre was sent him far away then whacked in the statue with an unconscious expression.

"This is the chance!" Yumiro used the big opening to finish this fight.

[Dash!]

[X kick!]

When he accumulated the speed that he needed, Yumiro quickly jumped to the mid-air while forming an X kick in his kick. This attack was two kicks that could land a fatal blow if he aimed the vital points.

But all of sudden, Ogre's eyes were immediately opened seemingly the monster awaited this time.

"No, it can't be?"

Yumiro was surprised when the ogre raised its Kanabo, it seemed a new magical power will be released.

[Fire burst!]

His body stopped while he positioned to the mid-air, and a strong fire occurred.

"Why I can't move my body?"

He fell to the ground, and he saw a new red screen that appeared right before his eyes. It came from the system, showing the reason why his movements were delayed for 0.5 seconds.

[Fire burst skill activated! You will be stunned for 0.5 seconds!]

After that, he rolled many times to the ground and was confused by this situation. He knew if he [dash] again there was a tendency he will receive that attack.

In his mind, every move had different casualties it could be a good or bad result. So attacking with the right intelligence the only way to pass this expedition.

The ogre was sat next to the statue, it seemed it hasn't enough strength left to recover from Yumiro's attack.

Yumiro observing the monster's movements carefully knew if he slowed the pace he could see everything, but the thing was, that he didn't know the monster had no mana left inside his body. Also, was soon to die.

"Huh? The Ogre HP is drained little by little, what is exactly happening here?"

To not waste his hard work, Yumiro pursued himself to finish this match-up.

[Dash!]

He repeated the same combo, but this time, he was assured that no one could stop his momentum.

Thud!

Rawr!

The monster groaned with an expression that he took extreme pain. Its body gleamed with white light, way more looked like there was a blade cut his body.

[Kanobo- it can deal +90 damage, but the agility was reduced by 20 as the weight is too heavy.]
