The Adventurer System

A lovely woman had shiny white hair invited him to stay away from the other adventurers who wanted to invite him for a duel.

They had the same red eyes, so Yumiro glanced at her for a couple of seconds.

"Who are you?" He asked uncomfortably as the adventurer won't stop for calling his screen name.

Her left hand placed on her chest under it was her golden-white plated armor.

"I'm Shira, captain of Rising Shiren guild." She said while behind her were high-level adventurers that seemed so strong by just looking at their physique.

One of them was Kurisei, he wasn't happy seeing Shira having a conversation with another man.

"What do you need from me?" Yumiro asked once again without giving respect to his face.

In what he did, all the adventurers on the back gritted their teeth, however, Shira just raised her hand which means they needed to stop.

Everyone was fell silent as they were eager to know why the guild captain personally met the KS specialist. 

"I just like to invite in our guild house," Shira said politely.

"What?!"

"He's KS specialist!"

"If you let that man join in your guild he will probably destroy your guild reputation."

The adventurers weren't glad in what they heard. Moreover, inviting in guild house it was like privileged as a certain adventurer could enter if its level was higher in Lvl.20. Aside from that, inviting you to one of the top guilds was a big development in your career inside the VR world.

"Pass, there's something I need to do, maybe next time." He whirled around while assisting Yuki in their path. 

"Huh, don't think that high with yourself! That's one of the top guilds, you should shame!

He heard again the harsh side comments, but he still didn't care. It wasn't his goal right now, one at a time movement gave him a lot more easier.

"W... Wait!" Shira tried to convince her, but Yumiro never looked back. She deeply sighed "Maybe next time, huh... It's a great answer, for now." Shira asked her guild members to leave the place at once.

Swoosh!

"Yuki, sorry for the trouble. I didn't know it will happen here." Yumiro said while glancing at the woman who blocked their path.

Yuki shook her head while her black hair was dancing around. "No, brother Grim, it's okay. As long as, no one would like to hurt you."

Both of them stopped once again, as the woman in front of them seemed was a high personality since she had a lot of guards the same as Shira.

Yumiro sighed as he was stressed about what happened to them. "What now?" He promptly asked as he had an idea this woman needed something from him.

"I'm Lylia the Vice-Captain of the Blue Leaf guild. I would like to inform our guild leader wants to meet you if you have some time to visit our guild house. Nice to meet you, goodbye." After Lylia spits those words she eventually vanished in the Adventure Capital by using the teleportation crystal.

By that chance, the adventurers were literally stunned at how this man refused all the invitations from the high guilds. That made them stopped from moving and let the young man passed to them.

"She's a strange one..." Yumiro mumbled after they make 25 meters distance away from the thousand adventurers.

He brought Yuki to the ground, as he carried her so he could swiftly escape. "Yuki, let's eat." Yumiro said and wore the cape on his black robe, so wouldn't easily be recognised by the adventurers.

Then suddenly, a multiple stomped to the ground perceived by their ears. It was getting louder and louder as it came closer to them.

Yumiro looked back, seeing a man that wearing a dusty brown robe. "What he needs?"

It was Brian, carrying all the items he got from Surike by just using his hands. As soon as he reached the place, those items fell to the ground, it seemed the weight of the giant axe drained his fatigue. 

He was gasped for his breathing while looking at the blue skies, also hearing the sound flow of the water since they were stood the bridge, which passed to the entrance in the Main Adventure Capital.

Brian removed his detective hat and swayed it on his face since it could help him to breathe properly.

"Th... This is all the items you get from your opponent, I... I didn't get any one of them." Brian still catching up with his breathing, way more looked like he wasn't the type of adventurer who lacks in physical strength.

"Ah... I don't need it. My class isn't a suitable item for that items." In his eyes, a giant axe, heavy armor, and some of the monster's core. It seemed all of them came from the lowly monster.

"I already said, I'm trader, this item isn't valuable to trade, so I will leave it here."Brian said.

The traders inside the VR world, their job was to check up an item if was it valuable or not. Moreover, they were the ones where you could find materials to level up your item. The trader also could earn real money by doing this job since if they had a rare item, it could sell it to the auction where the reached price was divided 50:50 or the other one the direct selling where you could a large amount of money.

"Okay, if you won't like to have it I'll take it. Inventory." Yumiro replied picked up all the items on the ground and easily carried the giant axe that made Brian amused. Aside from the accumulated core, he got from Surike was 15 monster cores, wherein a single one of them could help him in the future.

"But, I want more your Kariki knife. How much you can sell it for me? Name your price, I'll easily send the money." Brian said and had a malicious smile on his face.

Yumiro looked stunned at what he heard as he remembered they needed money from daily living expenses. It really caught his attention, but still, he didn't trust anyone.

"Don't worry, Grim Draigh. I can't wait, a rare item is needed a lot of time to think, so in the meantime, I just send you a friend request." Brian said.

A widescreen flickered his eyes.

[Do you want to accept Brian as a friend? Yes/No]

Yumiro thought this man could benefit if he sticks around. Also had an idea, what was the value of the item even though it has first glanced at. Just like what happened to him.

"Yes." Yumiro accepted the friend request.

"I'll leave for now Grim Draigh, if you have questions can you contact me anytime since I see you're new in this game." Brian leaves after spitting those words.

Yumiro didn't think too much now, just focuses on the main goal for this day. And it was to find a safe place for Yuki, so she could rest while he wasn't in the VR world.

The two of them continue to traipse over the bridge, looking in the main gate where the 2 royal soldiers who wore silver armor stood on each side.

The first time he went here, Yumiro didn't appreciate the place beautiful and calm place as he was pressured to get surrounded by other adventurers.

The coast was clear, no adventurers touched on their eyes, way more looked like they were still had gathered in the teleportation area.

As soon as, Yumiro and Yuki reached the main gate, the 2 soldiers bowed to them showing respect. Yuki did the same thing, but Yumiro wasn't as he busy finding a food establishment.

Glancing around was amazed their eyes, high structures, decoration, and all the events that happened inside the VR world posted in each part of the place.

10 minutes had passed, Yumiro didn't see any food establishment, so he forced himself to ask the woman that passes by.

"Ms... Can I ask some questions?" Yumiro said.

The woman nodded without any hesitation, "What is it?" Her face was pale, while his eyes were color green.

"I'm new in this place, where I could find a food establishment? Because this little girl is hungry."  Even he was embarrassed he keep going.

"Map," The woman said and pointed her index finger to the widescreen that appeared in front of them.

There was an icon on the screen, that represent the category of what was the adventurer needed.

"Oh, it's the right way how to use it," Yumiro said. "Thank you so much,"

A woman smiled at him. " Your welcome," She said and looked over Yumiro's head, then suddenly she ran for no good reason.

"What her problem?" He asked then walked closer to Yuki. "Map!" He put a mark on his destination, so he could monitor if he wasn't near to the place or not.

"Let's go, Yuki, there's one expedition I need to finish...."
