The Adventurer System

"Double attributes..." Yumiro was doubted now about his Zexel. In his mind, having strength wasn't enough it needed intellectual ability, and most important the combat ability to stand out with the monsters.

There was blood spilling out of his body along with the problem his health points were decreased little by little.

Swish! Swish!

Yumiro wouldn't waste any time seizing the monster core, so he slashes their chest with a gasped expression.

"If I used this core, I can easily go to the summit, but my main problem I didn't have information on what is the monster there." He clicked his tongue, as this was the first time he was worried by something.

He took a glance at the new corridor that had approximated 100 meters distance before he reached the next floor.

"Tch! The other adventurer is near my place. I should continue what I suppose to do." Yumiro said with a weak tone, then proceeded to the corridor.

He swiftly dashed and discovered the corridor was getting smaller as his body was narrowly touched on the concrete wall.

"What is this? I feel like I was running in a circular place." He was dizzy by these circumstances, however, he kept going at the adventurers nearby increased once again.

The place hasn't any window, and the sunlight wouldn't illuminate where he was right now. Which the place became dull that made him to couldn't found out what was a thing in his front.

His sticky blood left some traits on the brick surface that he even noticed. There were no torches inside just complete darkness.

"I won't take away in my mind, that the monster can attack me in this place. So raising my guard is the right decision." He murmured.

Rare items, the scroll he got from the elf village. They will be the main reason why the other adventurers wanted to PK him.

5 minutes had passed, and Yumiro reached the endpoint of 100 meters distance corridor. He looked behind then said. "It's spiral, it's not totally straight. It's slant so I can take the upper floor."

He then whirled around, peeked to the new room that had 80 Square meters. In this room, he saw it was surrounded by vines, no window, and no holes to could see the view outside. However, there were 4 torches plastered onto the brick wall, but it was sufficient to see the whole area.

In his back was a torch, so he felt while feeling the blood flowed in his legs, and his waist. He saw his big shadow, aside from that, he stepped back after there were green glowing eyes.

Bam!

He fell to the ground as he slipped to the thick behind that positioned in his thread. "One more level, that's all I want." Yumiro holding Amiya's words that they could meet inside the world, and meet her friends.

"If I can play with her, she can briefly explain what the other stuff I need to do in this world. I'm too used to fight the monster ever since I went here."

He patted his head all over and didn't notice some blood stick on it. He took a deep breath as that eyes came from the monster.

Yumiro pointed his index finger in front of him, so he would have information about the monster's ability.

A red view screen appeared right before his eyes with an alert sound that echoed in the dull place.

"What is that?"

He did the same thing, as he thought he just missed click the monster's existence.

He dumbfounded for a couple of seconds, thinking a new idea what he needed to lure the monster where the torch could reach it.

"I ca... I can't go there. That monster would be stronger than the other monster before." He wasn't confident in his ability since no matter how he had a big advantage because of his Zexel still, the monster could always land massive damage from his health points.

Then suddenly a sound of the thin elastic object was perceived by his ears and eventually whipped to the ground. It created smoke that made him to lost his vision from the monster's glowing eyes.

"Where is it?" He glanced around finding any clue where was the monster's precise location because if he didn't do that sneaked would be possible. On top of that, he hasn't idea what was the monster's ability.

"Damn it I lost it."  For the first time, Yumiro hardly stomped his left to the ground and mold it. Way more looked like he was frustrated.

Swish!

A new keen sound occurred, but Yumiro didn't know where its coming from. So he screamed, then took a slap in his body that had a slippery texture.

Boom!

His back was whacked to the ground with a blank expression on his face.

Bam!

He fell to the ground and saw again the green glowing eyes. His movements became stiff, it seemed the main reason why he could barely because of the monster attack.

A new screen flashed in his eyes and suddenly alarmed his scrutiny.

He placed his hands on the surface, trying to stabilize his footing in the meantime. Since he could take away in his mind that there was possibly a follow-up attack.

"Arghhh! My body is heavy, somebody tells me, what's actually going on right now." Although he having a hard time lifting his body, he was able to manage it since the poison wasn't penetrated his body.

Thud!

He lost his balance a little bit, as he felt his body was tugging by the ground. "This monster is dangerous." His mouth was also affected and seemed like he couldn't open it.

But still, he hasn't any idea what was the monster's appearance. All the idea was jumbled inside his mind, and along with the idea of what he needed to do to erase the poison effect.

Swish! Swish!

Seemingly there was a new assault came from the monster. "My enemy is my front, it will be appearing there." Yumiro raised his rusty gauntlet and straight forward it.

Blam! Blam!

Two consecutive attacks by the monster touched on the gauntlet. His foot was slid back, however, he didn't anticipate it could bend so another attack landed on his body.

Blag!

He lifted in the air and rapidly dropped to the ground, and his head was slapped. That became him fainted.

"Ahh... My head..." Even though he didn't feel any kind of pain but still, the extreme experience that happened inside the VR world sink into his brain which inflicted that he felt pain.

Although the place was dark, he could see it was circulating. "What just happened?" He chuckled out of frustration.

How he could survive in this situation? As he knew he has great instinct inside the VR world it wasn't enough. As the aspects transpired he was clueless.

"I can't die here..." Yumiro squinted twice as he saw green glistened vines that different from the other vines. "It's moving..." Even he was hard in his position, he pointed his index finger for 3 seconds in that direction.

A new tab glinted it seemed like the system was able to scan the monster.

It can +100 damage with a penetration effect of +20 damage. Monster passive skill <Poison> It vine has tentacles that will put the poison into the monster's body. It had 30% poison that could paralyze a certain adventure up to 5 minutes duration.]

Yumiro knew the monster attack wasn't strong it just the poison, "Now, I found out what is the monster's abilities. What right thing I need to do."

The [Core devourer] skill consumed 50 mana and 30 minutes of cooling before he could use it again. This means it could use 2 times as his mana was over 122. However, it will change if he has any MP potion.

"That's skill again? What if I needed to use it in the last monster? No, if I conserve this there's I can't reach the summit. Grr..." Yumiro swiftly took a core inside his inventory while looking at the treat monster in his front.

Also, he discovered the monster took time before it could attack again. "Tch, this is the right core?" In his grasp was the destroyed core.

Crack!

He bit with a stolid expression on his face.
