The CEO's Dark Wife

qLater in the evening, Hua Ruo Lan paced around in her son's room practicing for the interview tomorrow. Her head was spinning.

"OK Lu Jin..you have to help mommy out" Hua Ruo said as she composed herself and started talking to Lu Jin who knew nothing about was she was saying. He was just interested in playing with his toys. Hua Ruo Lan was miserable. How was she going to answer the 'Tell me about yourself' question when she doesn't even recognize herself anymore. She paced around the room for about 10 minutes before she froze. She didn't realize that Lu Qian was standing at the door. Lu Qian walked close to her,he could see the worry on her face.

"What's wrong?" he asked as his cold tone revealed traces of warmth and concern.

"Nothing.. I applied for an internship program..so I'm just preparing for my interview" Hua Ruo Lan said as she lowered her head. Since Lu Qian had already knew that she was worried and he probably heard her when she was practicing for the interview tomorrow,there is no harm in asking him to help her. right?. Hua Ruo Lan was silent as she pondered on this thought. Lu Qian was surprised when he heard this. Hua Ruo Lan didn't want anything to do with her father's company but now she's going for an internship interview at her father's company. Her behavior towards him and their son felt like a dream and now she is saying that she is going for an internship program?. It's too much to take in.

"Need any help?" Lu Qian asked as Hua Ruo Lan looked at him speechless. How was she going to answer Lu Qian's questions without fainting from fear. But she has to do this in order to get what she wants.

"Yes" Hua Ruo Lan said.

After answering a lot of questions, she didn't feel so uncomfortable with Lu Qian. She even wished that he would be the one to ask her questions for the interview the next day. So it came down to the last and final question.

"Tell me about yourself" Lu Qian said. Hua Ruo Lan face turned pale. What does she know about herself apart from the fact that she has made a lot of stupid mistakes. There is really nothing to write home about her.

"This is what I've noticed about you....maybe it will help you." Lu Qian said

"You are smart, you have a strong will, you have a strong d.e.s.i.r.e to make everything and anything work, you..."Lu Qian started saying all what he admired about her. Hua Ruo Lan was speechless as she looked at him.

"You...you...you noticed all of this?" Hua Ruo Lan asked. Lu Qian was silent. He didn't say anything. His phone rang so he left the room. Hua Ruo Lan cursed herself for not loving him in the first place. But it didn't matter anymore because this time she was going to make sure she gets him back and give him all of her love.

The next day, Hua Ruo Lan got up early. This was the very first interview she was going for and she needed to make a good impression. After getting dressed,she left the mansion. Meanwhile, Hua Er Bao was happily receiving the attention of some of the staffs at Lu conglomerate and the interns. Everyone thought that she was Lu Qian's wife because they know that she is from the Hua family and also because they see her with Lu Qian almost every time so the people just assumed that she is the Madam of the Emerald Mansion. Receiving all these attention set Hua Er Bao on cloud nine and she didn't notice when Hua Ruo Lan entered the building. Seeing her cousin receiving all the attention happily made Hua Ruo Lan ecstatic. The more she tells people about her so called relationship with Lu Qian the more sweet and entertaining her disgrace will be.

"OK Er Bao...I will let you receive all the glory..I just hope that you are prepared when the time comes because I'm just patiently waiting for it" Hua Ruo Lan said silently before she went for her interview.

Hua Ruo Lan was breathing heavily when she came out of the interview room. That room was worse than the principal's office. She quickly composed herself and left the building before Hua Er Bao sees her and use her so called connections to remove her before officially becoming an intern.
