The CEO's Dark Wife

Lu Qian was in shock when Mr Shen came to his office and reported the incident.

"Did she really slap him?" Lu Qian assistant asked in disbelief.

"I don't know but that was what I heard. He was going to hit her but I stopped him" Mr Shen answered.

"What?!!...has he gone mad?!!" the assistant shouted.

"Thank you Mr Shen...you can go" Lu Qian said.

"Find out everything about Mu Feng" Lu Qian said to his assistant.

"Yes sir"the assistant said as he left. Raising your hand to a woman is one thing but raising your hand to the Madam of the Emerald Mansion is an abomination.

The next day, the Mu Enterprise became the talk of the media. Investors were leaving, how or why it happened,no one knew.

"Mr Clark....please tell us....did we do any thing wrong?" Mu Chen, Mu Feng's elder brother begged. He was at the brink of collapsing.

"Elder Brother....what is going on?.." Mu Feng asked as he rushed into his brother's office.

"I don't know... all the investors are leaving" Mu Chen answered.

"Where is father?...does he know?.." Mu Feng asked again.

"He's trying to get the investors back" Mu Chen answered.

"I don't know what happened... yesterday we were doing fine.....today we're at the brink of losing everything....I don't know what to do anymore" Mu Feng's father said as he walked into his son's office. Mu Feng clenched his fists in anger. He walked out of the office and directly went to the Emerald Mansion.

"Ruo Lan!!!...Hua Ruo Lan!!!...where are you?!!!come out this instant!!!" Mu Feng screamed.

"Sir...please stop shouting" a servant said. Mu Feng seemed to be oblivious of the servant.

"Ruo Lan I said come out!!" Mu Feng shouted as he made his way to the west wing and stood there shouting Hua Ruo Lan's name.

"Stop it...why are you shouting my name?" Hua Ruo Lan asked as she walked towards him.

"Leave us" Hua Ruo Lan said to the servant.

"Have you heard about the Mu Enterprise?" Mu Feng asked in anger.

"Yes...and so?" Hua Ruo Lan said.

"Hua Ruo Lan... you are playing with fire...if you know what is good for you...tell the investors to come back or else....." Mu Feng couldn't even finish his statement when Hua Ruo Lan spoke.

"Or else what?...what will you do? and why are you asking me to bring back the investors... I didn't ask them to leave" Hua Ruo Lan said.

"What will I do?!!.. I'll tell everyone you have been cheating on your husband" Mu Feng said as Hua Ruo Lan burst into laughter.

"Cheat?...when did I cheat on him? and with who?...you?" Hua Ruo Lan asked.

"Hua Ruo Lan stop pretending" Mu Feng said.

"Listen...our so called relationship wasn't a real one and you know that...You never treated me as your girlfriend which I'm very grateful for... so tell me what relationship did we have and how did I cheat?" Hua Ruo Lan asked. Mu Feng was silent, he didn't know what to say. Hua Ruo Lan was telling the truth, He never considered her to be his girlfriend, she was just a puppet to him.

"What about all those times we spent together?" Mu Feng said trying to stand his ground.

"What times?...when I got married I rarely saw you...and when I got pregnant,you ghosted me."Hua Ruo Lan said.

"And even if you tell everybody, who will believe you?" Hua Ruo Lan asked.

Mu Feng was dumbfounded. Who will really believe that Hua Ruo Lan cheated on Lu Qian with him?. Even if he dies and come back to life a million times, he will never be able to attain Lu Qian's status. Forget being married into the Lu family, Hua family also has a strong hold in the country. His family won't be able to go up against Hua family not to talk of the Lu family. After he realized this, his voice became calm and sweet.

"Ruo Lan why are you talking like this?.. don't... don't you love me anymore?" Mu Feng said. Hua Ruo Lan was beyond amazed. If she didn't reincarnate then she would never have known that Mu Feng was a very good actor.

"Ruo Lan you..you are the love of my life...I'm sorry if I made you angry...I'm just stressed out" Mu Feng said as he held her hands.

"Mu Feng....I don't ever want to see your face again...now get out" Hua Ruo Lan said.

"But I said I'm sorry...Ruo Lan I can't loose you...I'll just die" Mu Feng said trying to convince her.

"Mu Feng....are you deaf or did something wash your brain?...GET OUT!!" Hua Ruo Lan shouted. Mu Feng was shocked, he never expected Hua Ruo Lan to react like that, he thought trying to sweet talk her will make her accept him but he was wrong.

"Why are you still standing here...I said leave" Hua Ruo Lan said without any sympathy. Mu Feng left the Emerald Mansion in shame. He had never experienced this type of treatment before.
