After saying that, Lu Qian left Hua Ruo Lan in his room. Hua Ruo Lan curled up on the floor an bowed her head as tears flowed from her eyes. She needed to get him back no matter what it takes but how?. He doesn't love her anymore. As she was busy thinking of ways to get her husband back, Mu Feng called. Hua Ruo Lan looked ignored the call. Mu Feng didn't stop,he kept on calling her, when he realized that she isn't answering, he decided to send her a text.

'Ruo Lan please I really need to speak with you, I'm at High End Bar ...please I want to see you'. When Hua Ruo Lan saw this she got up and quickly got dressed.

It was 9:45pm, Hua Ruo Lan went outside, where she saw her driver waiting for her.

"Don't worry...you can go back..I'll drive myself" Hua Ruo Lan said as the driver handed her the keys. The next day news about the Mu family second son being involved in an accident spread round the country like wild fire.

"This keeps getting interesting.... yesterday the Mu Family business collapsed, now the second son of the Mu family is in an accident... what is going on?"

"I guess Karma has decided to pay them a visit"

"I wonder who they offended"

Meanwhile Mu Feng who was in the hospital had just regained consciousness. He smiled a little when he saw Ye Ruo Shi along with his father and brother beside him.

"Tell me..are you feeling better now"Mu Feng's father asked.

"Yes...I'm fine"Mu Feng answered with a hoarse voice.

"I've already called the police, they should be here any minute" Mu Chen said.

"Po...police...why did you call the police?" Mu Feng asked.

"I went to know who is targeting our family... first they ruined our business and now they want to kill you... who knows what they will do next" Mu Chen explained.

"And what if its just a mere accident? Mu Feng asked again.

"Then so be it...I just want to know if we are being targeted or not" Mu Chen answered.

Few minutes later the police arrived.

"Sir...I need you to tell us everything that happened yesterday night...where you were and who you were with "the police officer said.

"I was at High End bar waiting for someone...a woman...I called her at first but she didn't answer so I texted her to come meet me at the bar but I don't know if she saw the text or not..so I waited and waited...I got sick of waiting so I decided to leave...the next thing I know..I'm in the hospital" Mu Feng explained.

"We examined your car already and we found out that the brakes were faulty...did you know?" the police officer asked.

"No...I...that's impossible... I recently bought this car" Mu Feng answered in disbelief.

"I knew it..someone is targeting our family" Mu Chen said in anger.

"Calm down sir we don't have any proof" the police officer said as he turned to Mu Feng." This woman..the one you said you were waiting for who is she and whee does she live?..we would like to ask her a few questions". Mu Feng was silent for a while before he finally spoke.

"Her name is Hua Ruo Lan and she lives in the Emerald Mansion".

"Hua Ruo Lan...who is she?...I've never heard of her...and she lives in the Emerald Mansion?" Mu Chen asked confused.

"OK thank you sir...I'll leave now"the police officer said as he left.

"Ruo Lan?....why did you ask Ruo Lan to come see you?" Ye Ruo Shi whispered into Mu Feng's ear as her eyes became red with jealousy. Mu Feng didn't answer her.

The onlookers who were busy admiring the Emerald Mansion from afar were a bit surprised when they saw a police car driving into the Emerald Mansion.

"What's gong on...why are the police here?"

"Didn't you hear that the Mu family second son got into an accident and it's possible that they are being targeted...I'm sure the Lu family is just trying to tighten their security"

" But who in his right mind will want to go after the almighty Lu family?"the onlookers asked themselves.

Mr Shen quickly went to meet the police and brought them inside mansion.

"May I ask what the police are doing here?" Mr Shen asked.

"I'm officer Song,we are here regarding the accident that took place involving Mu Feng and we need to ask someone named Hua Ruo Lan a few questions and Mu Feng told us that she lived here." The police officer explained.

"OK please wait here I'll go see if she is around" Mr Shen said as he left the police officers in the lobby. Few minutes later, Mr Shen came back.

"Sorry but she isn't at home" Mr Shen said.

"OK I'm sure we can wait for her" officer Song said.

"OK sure...I'll send someone over to attend to your needs" Mr Shen said.

"Thank you..but if you don't mind me asking...who is this Hua Ruo Lan?" officer Song asked.

"Oh...she is the madam of the Emerald Mansion" Mr Shen replied as he watched how officer Song's body froze.
