Officer Song's body started shaking. How was he going to question the Lu family's queen.

"Officer Song are you OK?" Mr Shen asked.

"Ye...yes I'm fine...I don't think I can wait anymore... we'll just leave"officer Song said. As he was about leaving, his eyes caught the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and beside her was the famous Lu Qian, the god of the country. Officer Song tried his best to control . Seeing the police, Hua Ruo Lan was surprised to see the police in her house.

"What's going on?" she asked as she looked officer Song.

"Hello madam...my name is officer Song..Mu Feng was involved in an accident so I would like to ask you some questions" officer Song answered.

"OK sure...no problem" Hua Ruo Lan said as she gave a brief smile.

"Mu Feng told us that he had asked you to come see him at High End bar...so did you go?" officer Song asked as he looked at Hua Ruo Lan.

"No...I didn't go to see him...I was with my husband" Hua Ruo Lan said as officer turned to Lu Qian for confirmation. Lu Qian nodded his head.

"OK thank you madam...we'll leave now" officer Song said as he left.

"Sir..the meeting will son start" Lu Qian assistant said.

"OK...tell the driver to bring the car around" Lu Qian said as he took large strides into his room, without looking at Hua Ruo Lan.

Hours earlier, before Mu Feng's accident, Hua Ruo Lan went to Lu Qian's hotel room. He was a bit surprised to see Hua Ruo Lan.

"What are you doing here?" Lu Qian asked as he sat on the sofa.

"I want to if you really don't love me anymore" Hua Ruo Lan answered as she went towards him.

"Ruo Lan not this again...it's already late" Lu Qian said as he made his way into the bedroom. Hua Ruo Lan followed him.

" No... I want to know....I want you to tell me the truth... do you not love me anymore?" Hua Ruo Lan asked as tears filled her eyes. Lu Qian didn't answer.

"Why are you quiet? say something" Hua Ruo Lan said.

"I have already said what I want..Its up to you if you believe it or not" Lu Qian answered coldly.

"I..I don't know what to say to you...I told you that I don't love Mu Feng.. I love only you..why won't you believe me?" Hua Ruo Lan asked. "I don't know how many times you want me to say it.....If you want me to apologize a million times, I will...but don't tell me that you don't love me anymore".

"OK..fine..let me ask you this" Lu Qian said."

If you and Mu Feng didn't break up...Ruo Lan be honest..would you have ever loved me?" Lu Qian asked. Hua Ruo Lan was speechless, she didn't know what to say. If Mu Feng didn't have a part to play in her downfall and if he had genuinely lover her, there was no way she would have ever loved Mu Feng or even notice his feelings for her.

"You can't say anything can you?" Mu Feng asked as he looked at the clock on the wall.

" It's already late...you can stay here..I'll book another room" Lu Qian said as he left disappointed. Hua Ruo Lan sat on the bed as tears filled her eyes. She had really lost Lu Qian. She didn't know what to do, she just laid on the bed and stared at the light.
