Everyone was patiently waiting for Hua Ruo Lan to come downstairs. Hua Ruo Lan stayed in her son's room. She coaxed Lu Jin before laying him on the bed to sleep. Hua Ruo Lan sat beside her son. Her memory flashed back to this day. Hua Ruo Lan was so ecstatic when her mother called her to come to the Emerald Mansion to sign the divorce paper. She quickly rushed over and without giving it anymore thoughts,she signed it. Her husband Li Qian had transfered half of his property to her name by law but due to her arrogant nature,she rejected it. After signing the divorce paper, she quickly left to inform her lover. Yes , Hua Ruo Lan was forced into a marriage alliance with the Lu family. She continued seeing her lover. When Lu Qian found out about this, Hua Ruo Lan was already pregnant. Lu Qian had doubts Hua Ruo Lan's child being his own so he did a DNA test home and abroad, they all gave the same result. He even did a DNA test when Lu Jin was 6 months old. Lu Jin was really his son.

After signing the divorce paper,Hua Ruo Lan and her lover got married secretly. After 6 months of marriage, Hua Ruo Lan found out that her new husband had been cheating on her even before her marriage with her best friend. She was heart broken when she found out about this. Without thinking, she ran back to the Emerald Mansion just to find her cousin crawling out of her drunk ex husband's bed. She was so devastated. She had no where to turn to. Her own parents disowned her immediately she signed the divorce papers. A few months later, the news about Lu Qiang and Hua Er Bao getting married spread like wild fire. Unable to deal with the stress, Hua Ruo Lan ran towards the road where she had an accident. The next thing she knows,she's back in her hotel room.

All these bitter memories roamed in Hua Ruo Lan's head. She quickly got up and went downstairs. The people present were getting restless.

"What happened to her?.... I'm confused" Old Madam Lu said as she couldn't wrap head over what just happened. Old Madam Lu and Old Madam Hua were childhood friends so it was natural that she took a liking to Hua Ruo Lan and wanted her to marry her son Lu Qian. Old Madam Lu treated Hua Ruo Lan like her own daughter because she never had one. Hua Ruo Lan was too full of hatred for the Lu family to notice this.

"I...I don't know...did something happen?"Old Madam Hua asked her husband.

"How am I supposed to know...I haven't spoken to that girl since she left"Old Master Hua answered. He was also confused.

Hua Ruo Lan took a deep breath before walking towards them. Everyone stared at her with their confused faces. They didn't know what to say. They stared at her as she sat down on the chair trying to avoid everyone's gazes.

"These are the divorce papers...all you need to do is to sign them and I'll take them to court to...." the Lu family lawyer said to Lu Qian and Hua Ruo Lan when Hua Ruo Lan interrupted him.

"I'm not signing those papers"Hua Ruo Lan said firmly.

Everyone was shocked especially Lu Qian . He was the most confused person present. He thought Hua Ruo Lan would be happy with this divorce but now she's saying that she is not going to sign those papers. This means that she doesn't want to divorce him. Lu Qian looked at the woman in front of him, she was serious, she doesn't want any divorce.

Not quite long, Lu Jin started crying. He was looking for his mother. Hua Ruo Lan left the people in the living room and went to meet her son.
