The CEO's Dark Wife

Hua Ruo Lan coaxed her son back to sleep,she didn't take her eyes off him as he slept. He was so innocent, he didn't know that his mother ignored him right from birth, he didn't know he had a terrible person as a mother. Tears flowed from Hua Ruo Lan's beautiful eyes as she looked at her son who slept peacefully in her arms.

Old Madam Hua who was quietly watching her daughter was moved by her daughter's tears. She couldn't hold her tears any longer.

"Mom...why are you crying?" Hua Ruo Lan said as she went towards her mother. Old Madam Hua stared at her daughter, she was not sure if the person standing before her was her own daughter. So she raised her hand to touch her daughter's face. When she was sure that it was really her daughter,she hugged Hua Ruo Lan.

"Mom....I'm....I'm... so sorry"Hua Ruo Lan said crying. Old Madam Hua was so pleased to know that her daughter had come back to her senses.

"It's fine....but...but..is it true...are you not going to sign those papers?" Old Madam Hua asked.

"No mom..I'm not" Hua Ruo Lan answered sincerely. Old Madam Hua was beyond happy to know that her daughter doesn't want to leave her marriage.

"Come...let us go downstairs and tell everyone"Old Madam Hua said as she held her daughter's hand and went towards the door.

"Mom wait....I can't leave little Jin here, he might wake up again and start looking for me" Hua Ruo Lan said.

"OK I'll leave you here" Old Madam Hua said as she left.

Old Madam Hua's face was beaming, her smile was very visible, she couldn't hide her joy.

"She's not signing the divorce papers"Old Madam Hua said happily.

"Really?"Old Madam Lu asked.

"Yes my friend.... I don't think that there's any reason for us to be here we should leave"Old Madam Hua said as she picked up her bag.

"I...I want to see her before I leave"Old Master Hua said.

"Yes we should do that" Old Master Lu said as they all headed for the east wing including Hua Er Bao who reluctantly followed them. Seeing that he was not needed anymore, the Lu family lawyer left

Lu Qian remained in the living room, he had never been so confused in his life. Why would Hua Ruo Lan refuse to sign the divorce papers. What happened to her?. Li Qian buried his head in his hand. He couldn't believe that Hua Ruo Lan would do this, he was so sure that this was what she wanted.

"Did she have a fight with him?"Lu Qian asked himself quietly.

Li Qian's parents along with Hua Ruo Lan's parents and her cousin left the Emerald Mansion late. It was already 11pm Hua Ruo Lan wasn't feeling sleepy at all, she looked at her son as he slept. She felt awful about the way she treated her son before.

"Madam I've already prepared your room for you...you can go and sleep...I'll look over little master" Chang Ying said softly.

"Thank you...but I'll stay here... You can go" Hua Ruo Lan said.

"Yes" Chang Ying. said as she left.

Back at Hua Er Bao's parents home, Hua Er Bao was fuming with rage.

"That....b***h refused to sign the divorce papers....what do we do?!!!" Hua Er Bao cried as she sat on the floor.

"What....she refused to sign the papers?" Hua Er Bao's mother Wang Fang panicked.

"Mom...what do we do?... I can't let Ruo Lan ruin my chances of being with Lu Qian" Hua Er Bao said.

"We...we need to speak with Ye Ruo Shi and Mu Feng immediately.... we need to know if any one of them offended her." Wang Fang said as she picked up her phone.
