The CEO's Dark Wife

M.K was a bit stunned. He never knew Lu Qian was very determined to make Hua Er Bao suffer but she deserved it. What she did last year should give her a free pass to prison but because Lu Qian didn't have any proof, he decided to punish her by himself.

"Oh...I forgot to tell you.. Li Yan is also coming to the party" Lu Qian said amused. M.K's heart stopped beating. He was going to see her after a long time.

"I haven't seen her for a while now..... I'm sure she must have gotten prettier...M.K have you two...."

"Shut up!!..." M.K shouted." Even if Li Yan has gotten prettier what has that got to do with me?...is she the only pretty girl in this world?" M.K asked angrily trying hard to hide his feelings but Lu Qian could see through him.Lu Qian became quite and faced the window. Not quite long he began talking again

"You know the last time I saw Li Yan she was..."

"Oh hell...shut the **** up" M.K said in frustration.

"Stop the car" M.K said to the driver who stopped.

"Where are you going?" Lu Qian asked

"Don't ask me you bastard...get lost" M.K answered as he opened the door and left. Lu Qian laughed a little before telling the driver to leave.

Lu Jin's birthday finally arrived. It was held at the biggest hotel in the country. The entire hotel was booked because of Lu Jin's birthday. The ballroom was filled with brilliant decorations which gave a stunning vibe. Guests started trooping in dressed in expensive clothes by various designers. This was no ordinary party. The party was for both a.d.u.l.ts and children so it was both fun and relaxing.

Hua Er Bao who was in her best dress started socializing with the guests as if she was the hostess. Knowing that Hua Ruo Lan would certainly not show up at her son's birthday party, she started playing the role of Lu Qian's wife and Lu Jin's mother. Some of the guests, especially the females presents rendered praises to her and tried to get on her good side after all she was the wife of the most famous businessman in the country.

Wang Fang who was also present at the party was receiving praises from some guests for getting her daughter married to such a wealthy and influential person. Lu Qian who was talking to some of his friends was observing Hua Er Bao, he was deeply impressed by her performance this evening. He couldn't wait the few hours that was yet to come.

Not quite long, Li Yan and Wen Lan arrived. Wen Lan was dressed in a pretty pink short ball gown while Li Yan wore in black pencil dress.

"Oh....wow.....this is amazing" Wen Lan said as her eyes roamed the place.

"Hold me.... I think I'm going to faint" Wen Lan said as she spotted some of her favorite artists who were busy chatting with themselves. Li Yan spotted some of her friends at the party, she introduced Wen Lan to them and they all got along very quickly.

Li Yan eyes roamed the place in search for her cousin but she could not find her instead her eyes caught Hua Er Bao who was busy performing the duties Lu Qian's wife and Lu Jin's mother. Li Yan went to the lobby and gave Hua Ruo Lan a call

"Where are you?" Li Yan asked.

"I'm almost there....something happened to my gown but it's all good now" Hua Ruo Lan explained.

"OK just hurry up because someone has already started her performance"
