3. The Desire Sea

The immense sea of flowers was filled with all kinds of flowers which were unable to be found in the Human world.

If any kind of those flowers were taken to the Human World, it would create much of a stir. Now, they were competing for blossom, bursting into the most beautiful bloom in the world.

This was the Desire Sea of the Netherworld. Every blooming flower represented for a desire. And the fragrance of the flowers was able to arouse the innermost desire of every creature in the Three Worlds. In other words, the ugliest side of each creature would be exposed while smelling the flowers.

Therefore, the Desire Sea was a forbidden area of the Netherworld.

It had taken the King of the Netherworld trillions of years to create this place. Thus, every flower here contained great power.

If a human ate a flower in the Desire Sea, his or her life could be extended a hundred years, which meant that person would live to a ripe age.

If a demon or a spirit creature ate a flower here, they could make a huge progress in their cultivation. In the meantime, since their intellects would also be developed, they would get twice the result by doing half of the work when they cultivated themselves.

Therefore, not a single human, demon or God in the Three World didn’t want a flower in this place.

However, that was merely a wishful thinking. No one in the Three Worlds dared to ask a flower from the King of the Netherworld, not even the King of the Heaven World or the King of Demon World.

Because the King of the Netherworld was the first one coming to existence since the very beginning of all, possessing boundless power. No one knew how long he had existed in this universe. The only thing that could be sure was that he had already existed before the Netherworld had been created.

However, the most important thing was that no one in the Three Worlds knew the location of the Desire Sea except for King of the Netherworld himself.

So, everyone in the Three Worlds would rather cultivate themselves diligently than searching for the Desire Sea which was nowhere to be found.

The Desire Sea was situated in a certain place in the Netherworld. It was said that it could move along with the thought of King of the Netherworld.

Thus ever since the Desire Sea had been created, no one else had stepped into this place.

Today was an exception.

A beam of golden light fell from the sky. The large pressure which was brought by its tremendous momentum felt ancient and rotten. Then it landed right onto the center of the Desire Sea with a deafening sound.

In the center of the sea was a huge sky-high flower which had been cultivated for numerous years.

That flower was the essence of the Desire Sea, each petal of which was enveloped by a layer of pink like it was wrapped by a thin film.

The film might seem a bit thin but was actually the strongest barrier of the Three Worlds. Even the King of the Heaven or the King of the Demon World was not able to break it.

However, the Way of Heaven just broke the defense of the flower easily and threw the golden shadow to the center of the flower…

The essence of the flower which had been formed over trillions of years began to swarm into that golden shadow. After the essence converged into a golden river and drew half of an arc in the sky, it all flew over into the golden shadow.

The whole procedure lasted two hours…

After that, the golden light disappeared almost in no time. With all the light fading away, a golden shadow finally showed itself.

That was a naked young boy whose skin was as tender as a newborn.

He slid down from the huge flower slowly with a layer of golden light on his body. However, as he kept falling, the golden light gradually faded away. At last, there was only a thin film, which seemed easy to be punctured at any time, left on his body.

King of Netherworld wore an indifferent look the whole time, remaining expressionless even when the Way of Heaven appeared. His tall body seemed to have emerged in this world while his breath was so dim like a light breeze.

Then, the naked boy, being wrapped by the golden thin film, flied to the king…
