69. Sky Breaking Beast

The Desperate Great Plain was situated on the north of the Rest Night City.

On the left of the Plain was the Wetlands and on the right was the renowned Demon Beast Forest. Due to the rarity of the high-level Demon Beasts, only the Demon Beasts in the medium or low level, some escaped criminals and self-cultivators lived in the Demon Beast Forest.

However, some fierce Demon Beasts such as the high-level beasts like the Green Vine Python still lived in the Wetlands.

Because the cultivators in the Heaven God realm were not capable of fighting the high-level demon beasts, the tasks which had been assigned to the attenders by the Green Nether Union mostly were aimed at the Demon Beast Forest. As the sky was torn open, a gust of wild wind rushed out from the crack right away. The strong windstorm swept to a little figure who was running right now. The destructive power of the windstorm was so strong that it even made the air ripple.

Suddenly with a sharp howl, a gust of burning air billow rushed out like the magma with an overwhelming momentum and then struck on the windstorm. At first, the two forces were equally matched, but because the latter had sneaked up on the former from the side, the spiral windstorm finally was defeated and vanished in no time at last.

After that, a roar of a fierce beast came through from the crack in the sky. The furious sound indicated the violent rage of the beast.

The huge figure of the beast appeared in the sky in the next second. It had a sharp horn on the top of its head and four legs which were as vigorous as the leopard’s and possessed strong explosive power. Its golden fur fluttered in the wind, seeming a bit messy. If someone took a closer look at the beast, he would find its fur a bit black as if it had been burned. Right now, the fierce beast still tried to maintain an arrogant posture, but in vain. Then it lowered its head and stared at the little figure with a ferocious look.

This was a Sky Breaking Beast, whose size was four or five times larger than a lion. It was able to tear the space apart and teleport itself. However, since this beast was still in its growth period, it could only teleport itself within a small range.

Although the Sky Breaking Beast was able to tear the space, its ability property was actually the wind property.

The powerful windstorm just now had been created by this beast, in order to strike the thief who had stolen its treasures.
