A familiar sound surrounded Shaheer's ears as a panel shot up in front of him.

'Nemo?' Shaheer was confused as he this could be the quest name. 'Is my ability trying to make a joke?' Shaheer is not completely sure about the origins of his ability and how it works so assuming things won't be helping him.

He read the quest given to him and the question marks were troubling him. Although after seeing experience, he now confirms his theories about how else he could raise his levels. Seeing the HP potions Shaheer did not waste time on that, as even if they are real, he do not know whether it have any effects on or not. He left if for the time he got his hands on it.

I know you are hiding something from he, I can see it." Maheen's sweet voice once again rang out reminding Shaheer of one of her skills.

"Well, I don't mind sharing but you have to answer a question for me first." Shaheer said with a carefree expression.

"Is it related to whether you can tell me about it or not?" She asked with a timid voice.

"Who knows." Shaheer said with a teasing tone and a carefree smile.

"Hurry up and ask then!" she said blushing and a hint of anger was seen in her tone.

"Are you familiar with the world 'Abyss'?" Shaheer cunningly asked her mixing the world in the sentence and almost making it seemed like he is saying word.

"Sure, do you want me to define it?" Maheen asked although she saw a black color around Shaheer, which shows up when someone is trying to trick her but she could not find anything wrong with the question itself.

"I see. I have bad news then. I must keep you in the dark for your own safety Maheen. Do you believe in my words? Shaheer asked having a carefree expression on his face but volume in his eyes was prominent.

Maheen having the eyes of truth could obviously see the green color enveloping Shaheer that comes up when someone was extremely sincere.

"I do." She said while having the most red face she ever had in her life. This was the first time someone other than her dad has cared for her. The reason was just that she would interact with other people at the minimal. Nevertheless, this was still a new experience for her. A new feeling started to stir ripples in her heart.

"I'm sorry I can't tell you anything even though you helped me uncover it. However, if you were willing then I would not mind sharing other volumes of this book if I found it. Even if I could not find other volumes, I would bring over any interesting book just like this one." Shaheer said with a carefree expression.

"Really?!" Maheen asked as her eyes sparkled with joy.

"Something tells me you already know the answer to that." Shaheer said while maintaining the carefree expression from before.

As Shaheer was not someone who would forget the favors of others. He would always repay someone favors to him tenfold if he can. Shaheer has already benefit a lot from her in just one meeting. He also knew that her looks never stood a chance compared to how breath taking her soul is. She is kind and pure. Shaheer also thinks that she will be a good ally in future. Although he won't selfishly drag her in the world of abyss but seeing her level and how she is an awaken like him, Shaheer knew the day is not far where the abyss recognizes her power.

"You seem to be telling the truth, so I will be waiting for you." Maheen said cheerfully. Her mood swings are scary.

'Showoff' Shaheer thought. He knew about her eyes of truth and that he cannot lie in front of her, as she would pick it up in a color… Ehm... second.

"I will take my leave now. Thank you for having me." Shaheer said as he starts walking out as Maheen followed him.

Seeing the back of Shaheer, which was broader than normal, she felt courage and for the first time in her life, talking with some came so natural to her. She was grateful of Shaheer and wanted to be friends with him while having conversations that do not mean too much. Little did she knew Shaheer had already considered her an ally and her wish was going to come true sooner than she thought.
