The Goblin Empire

As Zhou Lee was drifting through space, he wondered to himself,

"Is this the end? Is this the afterlife? Well at least, I had a fulfilling life. If this is the end, so be it. My last regret is that I don't know who will take care of the two clans or what will happen to them. I just hope the deal will still be honored…"

As Zhou Lee was deep in thought, he got interrupted by a bright white light. As he got closer to the light, he could see a figure sitting at what seems to be a brown desk.

Zhou Lee walked to the man at the desk who was drinking tea. As he got closer, he could see the man in more detail. He was an old man with white hair and a long white beard with an eye patch on his left eye.

While Zhou Lee got closer, the old man noticed him.

"welcome young man I am Dorimier, the God of Reincarnation and I will guide you to your next life" So the God says with a smile.

"My apologies admirable one I didn't mean to disturb you, My name is Zhou Lee." He said as he bowed his head to the god.

Zhou Lee instincts allowed him to recognize a person's danger level to him, He however, couldn't sense a drop of aura from this old man. This either means that the old man was completely harmless like an ant or… he was much more powerful than Zhou Lee. He felt the latter was true and believed what the old man said.

"It's nothing, young one. The gods have sent their decibel to bring you here, for you have grown too strong for your world to contain and now, you will be reincarnated into another, stronger, world. Well I say world but it's more like a 'VRMMORPG'." Dorimier explain.

Hearing a new and weird term, Zhou Lee was confused.

"I do not understand what you mean by 'VRMMORPG' will you kindly explain to me admirable one?"

"Yes, I forgot that you are not from a time where 'VRMMORPG' existed. Do not worry, I will give you the knowledge after I explain to you about your reincarnation."

"You have killed so many people, even though most of them were evil people that also killed, killing is still killing. Because of that you'll be reincarnated as a 'True Born Goblin'. They are small ugly creatures who tend to be evil, crabby and mischievous. While they are small and weak, Goblins make up for this by being cunning and high reproductive functions."

The God started explaining with an all-knowing look.

"You will also be a 'World Boss' in this new world which is very strong. I truly pity you young one, for the road in front of you is full of dangers. I wish I could help but the gods have forbidden me to help you."

"The gods has tasked you to reach Lvl 2000 without dying. If you fail you will be sent to hell for an eternity, but if you succeed you will be reincarnated once more with your humanity. The Gods have given you a chance."

After the God stopped for a second, Zhou Lee asked with a confused look

"I do not understand, why can't you help me? Are you not a god yourself? And why do you pity me for the task the gods gave me? Am I not a World Boss which means that I will be strong and have people under my command?"

"Well you see I am a god but even gods have their ranks and I must follow their commands. As for your other question… well you will find out once you are reincarnated."

" I am not supposed to help you so lets make a deal, I will reincarnate you with all of your memories and skills, I will even give you a special ability as well. In exchange you must promise me that you will reach Lvl 2000, for the gods wish you to fail."

"Mmmm I'll accept your offer admirable one. I shall strive to become stronger and reach level 2000 In your name, I swear to the heavens that I will fulfill this promise."

Zhou Lee felt that something was wrong, why did the Gods wished him to fail? Even if he killed many, this was a little too odd. And why was this god willing to help him when it was breaking the rules? For now, Zhou Lee accepted and was ready to be reincarnated, he couldn't do anything about it now anyways. One thing still bothered him. He could not leave, unless he asked about the thing that bothered him…

"Admirable one, it sounds like I need to fight and kill, to reach level 2000, but didn't I get obliterated from the face of the earth because I killed people?"

The god stood there with a pleased smile on his face,

"I did not think you would be observant enough to ask that question." .

"Yes, you will have to fight and kill to reach your goal, but every universe has its own rules made by the gods. This universe is one where you are free to do anything you want as long as you have the strength and power to do it. Any more questions?"

"No, that will be all. Thank you for answering this one's thoughts."

Dorimier turned and walked away as he waved his hand while saying

"Now off with you, there is a special event at the bar and I can't be late for Mary's show"

A black and purple like portal appeared underneath Zhou Lee, it swallowed him whole just like how Mary would swallow Dorimier later.
