The Goblin Empire

In a tall building, a large room was full of machines. There stood several people. At the very middle of the room, in front of all the people stood a man. This man had brown hair, eyes as blue as the deep ocean, a good jawline that isn't square or too thin, wearing a dark blue suit that perfectly complements his eyes.

All in all, this man was very handsome.

This man is the CEO of 'Dark-Bright Zirk Entertainment' or more commonly known as DBZ Entertainment, a global wide gaming company that was ready to publish their newest 'VRMMORPG' that was rumored to be the most realistic 'VRMMORPG' to ever exist so far. It was known as 'God's Nexus Online'.

Next to him was also a handsome man in a black suit together with a beautiful woman in a red dress. They are his secretaries. The other women and men are the leading scientists and programmers in their specialized field, they have been working on the final editing of 'God's Nexus Online'.'

"Is everything ready?" asked the CEO

"Almost done sir, we are just running some last tests. So far, everything is running smoothly and we will be done in an hour or so." said one of the men.

"Yes, there seems to be no fluctuations in the system."

"That's good. Keep up the good work." said the CEO as he and his secretaries walked out of the room.

"Alright everyone back to your stations."

The Programmers and Scientists continued their work.

Time passed and soon, the testing was done.

"Everything seems to be in order, we can now launch the system. James, Sara and JoJo. I need you three to keep an eye on the system. After we launch it we'll speed up time, to let the system adapt a bit."

After they started the system and sped it up for hours with no problem, they decided it was ready to go public and stopped the speed up. Time for the system went back to normal.

"Works done everyone! Let's go celebrate this special occasion!"

The CEO announced, he was extremely happy that this long project was finally complete and decided to release some stress. Too bad there's no Maria for him…

Everyone left while leaving the system running unsupervised. They couldn't be blamed for this mistake as their minds were extremely fatigued from checking every single program during the last test. Their boss was quite careful and cautious.

They quickly left while their faces showed that they were looking forward to what this rich boss of theirs will do to celebrate.

No one was around to see the small fluctuations that occurred. That small fluctuation might have changed the whole game into something unexpected.

Zhou Lee's vision darkens while the black, purple-ish portal engulfed him.

He could not hear, see, smell, taste or even feel anything, he was totally engulfed in darkness. He didn't know why he tried tasting though

A few seconds, minutes, hours or even days might have passed. There was no concept of time in this endless darkness, only darkness itself. Luckily Zhou Lee didn't need to make a number 1 or number 2.

...maybe for now...

After a while, strange voices entered Zhou Lee's ears.

'It sounds like people'

Zhou Lee thought to himself.

While Zhou Lee thought that, an old man's voice entered his ear.

"Is everything ready?! We can not miss this ritual! If we screw up the ritual, we will have to wait for another decade to do this again! We can't let the pure bloods die before they are even born!"

Another man's voice answered the old man's question "Everything is ready village elder. We can begin the ritual."

The place quieted down, until everyone started chanting strange noises.

"HUNG KA TALA PA! SUNG KO LA WA!"

"HUNG KA TALA PA! SUNG KO LA WA!"

"HUNG KA TALA PA! SUNG KO LA WA!"

"HUNG KA TALA PA! SUNG KO LA WA!"

(E/N: the sounds of me chanting for my big number 2 to go in the toilet already… Takes forever)

In all that noise, the old man started speaking while everyone continued.

"Goddess of the moon! Who shines her light upon this world! Who granted us her blessing and gave us life! We, your humble servants, ask you to please give birth to these true bloods! So they may breath life and follow your commands! Through the great 'Seitoshi no ki', may the true bloods be born!"

Even though he was an old man and was surrounded by noise, everyone could clearly hear every word he spoke.

When the old man finished his prayer, Zhou Lee could feel vibrations all around him in the pitch black darkness.

'What is this vibrations? What is happening? Wait! There is a spot of light in this darkness and something is pushing me towards that speck of light... When I get closer, the speck of light gets bigger like a man going out of a tunnel. What is this speck of light?'

As Zhou Lee gets closer to the light, the light gets bigger and bigger until it was big enough for him to fit.

Zhou Lee reached for the light and as he did, his vision came back and he could see.

'I...I can see again! This world… is full of colour especially after that endless darkness. Now let's look around'

Zhou Lee was excited that he could finally see again after who knows how many years past. He used his soul and left his physical body through 'astral projection' to look around.

The first thing Zhou Lee saw was the old man that performed the ritual. He had a long unkempt white beard with a bald head. However, this wasn't the weirdest thing Zhou Lee saw. This old man had greenish skin which a pointed ear, like many others Zhou Lee saw nearby.

Even though he was quite short. He had a wooden staff that was longer than him, his skin was dark green and had a lot of brown spots on his skin, that showed he was very old.

The second thing Zhou Lee saw was himself.

He's skin was a lighter shade of green, he had beautiful emerald green eyes, his organs and muscles was very strong and he's body held a lot of potential compared to a normal human body.

But before he could look around more, a leaf fell from the Seitoshi no ki, right on the forehead of his body's face and because of that, he's soul got pulled back into his body.

When the elder saw the leaf fall on the head of the child, he ran to the child as fast as he could in fear that they may have lost one of the pure bloods and soon after, the others followed him as well.

But when they arrived at the baby, what they saw was unexpected. The leaf started to decay and crumble away, while on top of Zhou Lee's forehead there was a small golden symbol.

When the elder inspected the symbol on Zhou Lee's head, he realised that this symbol meant 'The blessing of the Moon Goddess'.

Upon seeing the symbol, the elder released a sigh of relief and started naming the pure bloods with an excited look on his face.

The elder started with Zhou Lee. "You are a lucky one! Hmmm I'll name you 'Terurx'."

"Hmm, Terurx was it? Seems like that would be my new name"

Zhou Lee thought before he passed out. The reason? Most likely because of the new mark on his forehead.

After the elder finished naming the pure bloods. He gave them to some short and dark green women before they all went home to their cave.

Back to the previous world, the program was launched and new 'VRMMORPG' was online.

Later that night a commercial popped up on the news stating that 'Dark-Bright Zirk Entertainment' has launched their new 'VRMMORPG' called 'God's Nexus Online' that also stated,
