I 'opened' the door using my soul energy-infused palm and it shattered.

I entered the room and found a kid wearing a lab coat and has many test tubes filled with colored liquid in his belt and pockets.

The strange colored liquids that were inside the test tubes spelled dangerous in my sense.

I should avoid coming into contact with an unknown liquid since it might contain some radioactive material that will cause gene mutation.

I am already satisfied with my genes so I don't need some liquid to mutate them.

"Will you stop staring at me? I'm sure you already figured out the function of this liquid. Am I right?"

I did not reply to the kid in a lab coat but instead shot him with a plasma energy spike that was launched by my battle shield.

"You're an aggressive one! Are you going to fight with a defenseless child?"

"Shut up kid! Or should I call you as the Father Of Longevity, Lorn Horid.? You're a shameless old man who uses pills to make yourself young!"

"Hoho! Looks like you had seen through my disguise! Only a handful of people had seen through my disguise so you should feel honored that you had found out."

"Honored my ass! Do you want to fight or not? I'm ready to get your head as a trophy and to instill fear towards my enemies that I'm not someone to be trifled with. Do they think that a high school student such as me is someone who does not dare to kill?"

"As expected of someone who killed hundreds of thousands of people using a lethal virus without even batting an eye!"

After Lorn Horid said that, he instantly threw a test tube filled with a colored liquid which made me caught off guard but I still regained my composure and dodged it.

The test tube broke after it landed on the floor which corroded and melted the floor that came into contact with the liquid.

"How did you even made such a hazardous liquid and yet not caught by the government?"

"Are you that clueless? I might as well tell you... The same method as you did! I did the same as you did which was to kill the people who found out about it and silenced them."

"Copycat! Even though the chemistry was not my forte, I am still able to compete with you when it comes to chemicals!"

I took out the water bottle that was on my backpack. I forgot that I had a backpack on my back.

I opened the lid on my water bottle and splashed a bit of the liquid towards Lorn Horid.

He dodged it in an instant and the liquid that I splashed corroded and melted the floor.

"How are you able to have a chemical that has the same function as mine? And what's more, you stored it in your water bottle. Aren't you afraid that someone might drink it or you might?"

Lorn Horid had indeed become talkative as his youth deteriorated.

"What's that got to do with you? Mind your business old man! What's the point of talking with you? I shall end this in a second!"

I gathered plasma energy on the battle shield and after it was finished charging, I ran and rammed the shield towards Lorn Horid.

I was so fast that he was not able to dodge. He coughed out blood and started limping on the ground.

I transformed the battle shield into a plasma sniper and pointed it towards Lorn Horid's head.

Before I could pull the trigger of the plasma sniper, Lorn Horid interrupted my action.

"Do you want to kill me? If you do, you will offend many people since I'm the one who invented pills to make people younger and had cured many ill patients."

"I don't want to kill you but if you tell me where Erin Xelfina and Reishi Hatake are, I will let you go and I will even collaborate with you in the future."

"I'm not involved with the kidnapping but they used my lair as the place for the kidnapping. I'll give you a map of where Erin and Reishi are at. I do not know if they moved them to another location but I hope this map might help."

Lorn Horid took out a map from his lab coat and handed it to me.

I checked the contents of the map and saw two red circles in different locations. I stored the map inside my pocket.

It seems that I'm close to where Erin was at. I need to hurry or I might be late.

"Thank you, Lorn for giving me this information. Of course, I will not ask this for free so I will give you favor so I can help you one time if you need my help."

Lorn Horid smiled and waved his hand at me while I was entering another room.

That kid, I mean old man was not that bad.

Well, compared to me, he does not have that much support in the military so maybe he was coerced to use his lab as the place for kidnapping.

I have entered another room and it does not even have any people inside.

Only laboratory equipment. Or so I thought but since I was currently wearing my advanced technology helmet, I activated its x-ray function and saw another room below this storage room.

I can even make glasses that allow the x-ray feature which was to see through clothes. Of course, if I ever invented that and sold it, it would be banned.

I transformed my hoverboard into a plasma energy cannon and shot the ground. A hole was formed which lead to another underground base.

I jumped into the hole and transformed the plasma energy cannon into a hoverboard again.

I rode the hoverboard so that I would not crash on the floor.

I looked at the room and saw that multiple screens were monitoring the other rooms.

There was one person who was sitting on a chair in front of many monitors. I guess he's the mastermind.

"Took you long enough, Alex."

The person spoke in a deep voice. He faced me.

"Even though I don't want to believe it, but looks like I have no choice but to believe it. Reishi, you bastard!"
