"Your bone structure, number of bones, heartbeat pattern, and blood pressure are the same as Reishi's but I guess your not him since the way you laugh is completely different from him."

I double-checked again by using my helmet to see the person's bone structure using the x-ray function and it's the same as Reishi's.

How did this person perform a perfect disguise of Reishi?

It's not Reishi because I looked at one of the monitors and saw Reishi being tied up.

"You must be thinking about how I performed a perfect disguise that completely looks like Reishi."

I guess he knew about that since it's quite an obvious question.

"You offended someone you should not offend and it even gave us a mission to capture you alive."

Who could it be? I know I had offended many rich and influential people before but they rarely took action against me since they were afraid of the consequences.

"Ah, come on. You don't know who you had offended? I'll give you a clue. I'm one of the 72 people who had seen you in the void."

72 people? Is he associated with the system that had made me lost consciousness?

"Does it ring a bell? Let me tell you that the 72 of us are someone you should not offend the most. I am ranked 71 but I don't pale in comparison against the top 200 in terms of fighting."

It seems that he specializes in disguise so I have a chance of winning against him.

How do I beat up someone who ranked 71? I hope my soul attack will work.

I took out a blue pill from my backpack. I intake the blue pill and felt a surge of power flowing through me.

I enveloped my body with soul energy and launched it towards the imposter.

He dodged it easily and his face showed an expression of bewilderment.

"How can a human being like you possesses a fragment of the system?"

So the meteorite where I extracted soulerium from was a fragment of the system.

The imposter that had the same appearance as Reishi launched a fireball towards me at high speed which I didn't notice but my hoverboard blocked it due to its auto-defend function.

The imposter stared at me with the eyes of a murderer and cackled as he looked down at me.

"It does not matter since you will be dead anyway."

The imposter said as he let out his immense amount of killing intent which made me suffocate a bit.

Knowing the fact that the fight will be inevitable, I used all of my soul energy to cover my whole body.

If he wanted to kill me, then he needed to use long-range attacks.

Physical attacks would no longer work on me since if he came in contact with my soul energy, it will damage his soul.

Hopefully, he was dumb enough to attack me using his fists but he knew about what my soul energy was so the chances were slim.

I looked at the imposter and he was no longer there.

This is bad! He must have used some magic of the system he was talking about to conceal his presence.

I made a soul energy barrier around myself and remained vigilant.

I observed even the slightest chance in the surrounding.

I scanned my surrounding using the x-ray vision feature of my helmet and as I expected, there wasn't anyone inside the monitoring room.

I turned off my helmet, took it off, and walked towards where the imposter disappeared.

I found a small piece of paper on the ground. I picked it up and read it.

What it said on the small paper: After I let you witness the death of both your lover and best friend! Enjoy!

"Damn it!"

I crumpled the paper and looked at the monitor.

I saw through the monitor that there was a person in black clothing heading towards Erin. It was either the imposter or another person.

I looked at another monitor and saw Reishi being tied up and had several figures in black clothing approaching him.

Who should I save first?

I remembered that Reishi always told me about the saying which was 'Pals before gals' but in this situation, I highly doubt that Erin can take a beating compared to Reishi so...

I will save Erin first and I will save Reishi after I save Erin.

I took out the map that Lorn Horid gave me out of my pocket.

Erin was only 1.2 kilometers away from my current location while Reishi was 1.8 kilometers away.

What's worst was that the location where Erin and Reishi were tied up was not in the same direction.

I'll think about it later! The more time I wasted thinking about how to reach them, the more time the kidnappers can harm them.

I rode on my hoverboard and hovered in the air. I almost used up all of the energy from Robot X's energy core after intruding in this place so I did not use it on my hoverboard.

I went towards Erin's location but I did not activate the nitro boost. It was best to save the energy core for escape purposes.

"I hope I make it in time!"

I felt a surge of power within me. Fragments of my memories when I had used the system had recovered.

After I received fragments of my memories from 2 years ago, I was able to remember how to use the system's power.

It seems that Reishi was not lying about obtaining power if I thought of delusional things.

Now that I think about it, maybe Reishi was involved in sealing my memories?

I'll ask him later after I get out of this place.

*Bang!* (Sound of the door being forcefully opened.)

I was startled by the sudden loud sound so I opened my eyes and saw a person in black clothing walking towards me.

"Are you awake? It's now time to sleep!"
