The Search For The Reincarnated Queen

Eliora woke up with an agonizing pain on her head. She g.r.o.a.n.e.d as she turns in her bed to reach for her phone, but it was not in its place, which sent chills all over her body.

She opened her eyes in shock and saw that she's not in her room.

A large bedroom with violet walls and a large chandelier were before her. The bed is even four times larger than her own bed.

She scanned the place while trying to sort out everything that happened.

Starting from being kidnapped by beasts, then remembering her past life, then...

She gasped and felt her stomach turn upside down when she remembered the heads of the beast who were accused of killing her parents flying from her attack.

Blood.

She remembered the blood on the floor at that time.

Then, Vanford.

"Van...ford?" She whispered, then a young man with a terrifying gentle smile showed up in front of her.

"My Queen," he greeted and bowed, "You are as beautiful as the morning dew."

Frozen, Eli tried to remember what is really happening. Why she's here and who Vanford is. But a strong sense of anger boiled in her blood.

An uncontrollable rage fired her senses which sent her yo stand up and order Vanford.

"I need to kill that man," she said as she undresses before Vanford. "I need to get ready."

Like a woman of the early ages, she waited for her maids and bathe her.

And like a doll, she just watches her every move inside her mind. It's as if Eliora's only following her emotions, which is full of hatred towards Taylan.

But deep inside, she's confused and scared of the unknown feelings and memories that suddenly came in her mind.

As the maids are fixing her gown, Eli stared at her reflection and saw E. She looks extremely similar to her. Her hair had turned silver and her eyes are golden too, she's not herself anymore.

Then she questioned the emotion she has. Why does she hate Taylan? It's not even sure that he killed him. From what she saw, he just appeared out of nowhere.

And Vanford is suspicious enough. Who is he anyway?

He can change his appearance basing on what he did last night.

And what happened to Velo? Is he alright?

All these questions are running through her mind, but her face doesn't look like she's even worried. A blank expression is plastered on her face.

Her dead golden eyes, and pale skin, says that she's really not in control.

But she can feel in her veins that she wants to destroy Taylan.

And that is all she can feel.

Vanford arrived with a bouquet of roses in his arms and gave Eli a warm hug, "This is for you, My Queen."

Who is this guy? He just arrived, looking like her best friend, and now he's all chummy. What does he want from her?

A whole night has passed but none of the vampires or beasts has seen Eli. Ben even had to ask Aunt Susanna about her, but even her Aunt doesn't know where Eli is.

As everyone grew worried, Aunt Susanna met with Oberon, who was also terrified of the news.

"The king must have found her!" Said Oberon, who's trying to shake off his fear.

Aunt Susanna shook her head and clenches the Foniko she forgot to give to Eli yesterday, "Ben said that the King hasn't found her yet," her eyes begin to tear up in worry, " What if other beasts took her? What if they hurt her? Oberon!"

Velo appeared out of nowhere with his bandaged arms and swollen face, " A lot has happened while you two are busy shielding Eli away," he said and stared at Aunt Susanna, "That monster- he killed the Queen before. I saw it," he stared at Oberon, telling him that he did a spell to know that, "It was not the King. Also, that person who took her, I have a feeling that it's the same one who killed Eli's parents."

Oberon and Aunt Susanna stared at each other. They suddenly thought about everything they did to protect Eli. Was it all useless?

Yes, it is. They already have her.

Taylan was trying to connect with Eli in his mind while standing on top of the city tower with Willow and Trace, but he just realized that he does not know her. There's nothing he knows about her, only her name.

It's only her name.

Now he wondered, why did he even fell for her before? What is it that made a vampire fall for a mere human?

Even after finding her whole real name, he can't remember who she really is.

She loves coffee, she loves books, and she is beautiful.

But is there anything else?

Willow stared at Taylan. He seemed bothered.

After finding out that it was Eli, that she is the missing Queen, no one bothered to question how.

But they all personally tried to connect the dots and all they can think about is that they like Eli, they like her company and existence.

"Are you wondering how Eli became the Queen?" Trace suddenly whispers at Willow. "You know, I remembered the Queen being similar to her. She's cheerful, you know. They both love people. But, the Queen was more... mild." Trace chuckled while remembering Eli's loud voice, "Eli is... a ball of energy."

Taylan looked at Trace over his shoulders. It's true. The Queen was a simple lady, who adores a lot of things, especially coffee and books. She also... she...

Taylan clicked his tongue, why does it seem like he totally forgot who she is.

"Willow," he called, "How did I meet the Queen again?"He asked as a strong wind blows his golden hair.

" At the library, she snuck in," Willow tried to suppress his bitterness. It was the Queen's instinct to visit the library because of him, but it was the King she met that day.

"Then?" Taylan continues to ask, as he tries to remember the moments.

Trace sighed, "It was love at first sight, my King. You said the moment she smiled at you from embarrassment, your heart hasn't seemed to cease until she left."

Willow nodded, "Since then, you let her snuck in the library until you two decided to get married."

"That was all?" Taylan seemed uncontented with what he heard, "What is it that I love about her?" He continues to dig deeper.

Willow and Trace looked at each other, then Willow decided to share a piece of things he loved about her since the king sounds like he won't be able to recognize if he saw it in the Queen himself.

"She loves to learn about us," he started, his voice sounding soft, "She's brave," he added when he remembered how she stood beside the King without any fear while everyone was threatening her, "And stubborn."

Taylan suddenly remembered the time he first bit her, it was a week before they decided to get married. She wasn't afraid of him. It even seemed like she was happy that he did that. She was the first human he bit since the blood he drinks were already prepared.

Her skin was soft and sweet. Her blood didn't taste like any other drink he had. It was warm, flavourful and it made him feel complete like he never will be hungry again.

"Well, she's like a big sister to everyone, but sometimes she can be childish too." Trace said before Macky arrived.

"My king," the kid said and bowed, "We had gathered information about the abductor, according to Velo."

They returned back to the library which Rein had to close for the day while they are looking for Eli.

"He is somehow related to you, My king. His name is Vanford Charles Haima." Rein presented a photo of Vanford from one of the books they got from the castle's library. "But it is not specified who he is, and this is the only information we have about him."

Taylan stares at the photo with such rage that he's already on the verge of tearing up the book.

Ben suddenly arrived with Jade and Dane, but the information he has from E can already save them from searching the whole place for Eli.

Unknowingly, the person she truly saw from the mirror was E herself. She had a connection with her that no matter where Eli is, E can get to her.

"I know where she is." Ben looked at Jade and nodded.

"It's in the upper mountains at the Magnolia Province. The mansion is surrounded by vampires and beast. We only got a glimpse of ..." Jade paused, should he say Eli or the Queen?

"Eli was inside. And it's confirmed that Vanford is with her," Dane continued.

It is still weird for them to see Eli as the Queen but their top priority is her safety, not only because is the Queen but also because they are her friends.

Taylan stood up and his golden eyes turned red, "If this man does something awful to my Queen. He won't be able to hear his heartbeat again."

As everyone started to plan their attack on the upper mountains, Vanford and Eli are also planning their attack on Taylan.

"This will be perfect," Vanford grinned as he stares at the blank expression of Eli who's gazing at Taylan's photo. "Once he thinks you're back to him, we'll stab right exactly at his c.h.e.s.t, and end his life!"

Eli has nothing else to do but nod, but deep inside her, she wants to tell everyone what this man is planning, yet, her feelings are full of excitement while thinking of stabbing Taylan with a dagger as his red vampire blood spill from his skin.

The idea of revenge was already the core of her soul. But her mind isn't that deprived yet, she can still cling to her clean thoughts.

While examining her 'husband's' face, she can't help but scream in her thoughts that she needs help. The scenario yesterday was already confusing and terrifying enough, but now she has to deal with a murderous plan.

She, being a Queen, the one that was thought to be murdered by her own husband, is already driving her crazy. But her body is acting as if it is really her, but no. She's not the Queen. Even if she really is the reincarnation of that woman, of E, she has her own self. She's different. She has her own life.

If only Taylan can hear her; if only Willow was there; if only Ben knew where she is; if only anyone can be there.

She wants to escape everything for a while. Once she gets herself back again, she's planning to take a long vacation - no, she'll live far from everyone. She'll insist on her Aunt that she has to live on the other side of the world or else she'll die.

Yes, for now, she'll let this auburn headed man do what he wants, then, when she already had gained control over her body, she'll leave immediately.

But she also has to prevent Taylan's death.
