"How's the situation there Squad 25!?"

"We're holding on the best we can at the moment, but it looks like they're getting serious over here; they've started to bring out their energy cannons along with some mechs!"

"How long do you think you can hold out?"

"About 10 minutes max, but that's if we're lucky; it's more likely that we can hold out for 5."

Damnit, that soon? "By the way sir, what's all that noise in the background? Is something happening at the base? Is Khione not doing her job properly?"

"Don't worry about me! Listen, hold out for 5 minutes, and when I tell you too, I want you to make a tunnel, and send up a flare where it'll be at, got it!?"

"Eh? Uh, okay, but what's the plan?"

I grinned to myself. "You'll see, just make sure no one dies before those 5 minutes are up, you got that!?"

"Uh, right! We'll do our best sir!"

I nodded to myself before tapping my glasses. "How's the situation over there Anna?"

"Everything is fine Master," Anna said, and I watched her on top of the wall, just having finished taking out one of the nearby mechs. "By the way, what is it that Master is doing?"

Ah right, she can also see what I'm doing too. "Don't worry about that, just make sure that wall gets taken in the next 10 minutes, just like in the plan."

"Anna will make sure it gets done in 7," she said in her usual flat tone of voice, and I nodded.

"Good, don't die on me now. I still need you plenty."

"Anna knows Master is useless without Anna by his side, so Anna cannot die just yet."

Man, she really can't live that down, can she? "Alright, I'm counting on yah!" I tapped my glasses again before continuing.

"Squad 35, how is the mission going?"

"We've already freed all the dinosaurs, but it seems there's a problem…"

"What is it now damnit?"

"They decided to suddenly leave us and fight against Cyrene for whatever reason; they're with the squad fighting-!"

I heard a loud boom in the distance, and I felt the shockwave run through the forest as a vicious roar echoed out into the sky. .

"The hell was that!?"

"That would be the squad I mentioned earlier; one of them seems to be fighting the T-Rex with their fists! It's getting pretty crazy over here you know, are you sure they'll be okay!?"

"I've already told you they're fine! Just support them in any way you can, got that Roberto!?"

"Damn, why am I suddenly taking orders from a kid? Alright, we'll help them out the best we can."

"Good, I'll leave it up to you then!" I glanced at the time and immediately switched calls.

"Now, do it now!"

"On it!"

In about 10 seconds I could see a flare being casted up into the sky, and I grinned to myself.

"Alright, you all see that right!? Aim for the light in the sky!"

"Sir, who might you be talking too right now?"

"Oh, you'll find out right about… now!"

There was a chorus of vicious roars as we broke past the tree line as I led the charge of a giant herd of energy-armoured Triceratops into the northern wall.

"What the hell is that!?" I heard one of the enemy forces yell out as the saw me, and I grinned as I pulled out an energy grenade and pulled the clip out, throwing it right at the wall.

"Destroy the grenade before it's too late!"

Well, everyone except me however.

All according to plan, I thought as I grabbed my second grenade, and while everyone was still blinded, I threw it over the explosion of energy, and watched as it landed on the top of the wall.

"Bang," I said while shooting a finger gun.

Another explosion, this one made of silver energy, tore open a hole in the wall, sending the enemy forces flying towards the ground as I continued to speed along into their base.

I turned around to the stunned squads and grinned.

"The hell are you waiting for, let's attack already!"

There was a brief moment of silence before a chorus of cheers erupted from the nearby squads, and they all rushed in the steaming hole I created, and one of the squad leaders ran up to me, a woman with dark skin like my own and the biggest afro I had ever seen, who upon closer inspection was called Shaunice.

"I dunno how the hell you managed to pull this off, but you're one crazy sonuvabitch for doing so," she said, grinning at me,.

"I just asked my friend here if he wanted to ride, and he managed to call his entire herd to come with me; I managed to find some leftover energy armour from base and slapped them on all these guys, and I basically had my own personally army, no biggie. Isn't that right Trikey?" I patted his head, and he gave me a snort in response. "See, he agrees."

She chuckled, shaking her head. "You make it sound so easy, but thanks nonetheless. What will you do now?"

"Well, I plan on ripping their base to shreds with these guys, so I won't be able to lead you as much. But I'll still give you guys orders if things start looking really dire."

She nodded, watching as two of the Triceratops took down a mech on their own. "Well, on behalf of Squad 25 and the others here, I thank you. Now c'mon men, let's kick some ATF ȧss!"

Her squad roared in response, and with her leading the charge, they rushed into the enemy base.

"Alright, let's wreak some hell up in this joint Trikey!" I yelled out, and he roared, lifting himself up on his hind legs before we stormed into the action.

"Alright, now this is what I'm talking about!" I yelled out from atop Trikey.

We were viewing the scene of carnage from atop the enemy walls, the majority of it already taken over by the TRTF. Smoke was rising up from various facilities, and in the distance I could see the Triceratops I brought continuing to fight alongside various squads, and I patted Trikey's snout.

"That's the northern and eastern walls of the base taken over; all that's really left is to deal with the enemies in front of us." Trikey snorted and jumped down onto a nearby hill, running towards the fighting.

Let's see, who else needs help right-!

I suddenly saw a flash of light, and both Trikey and I were sent flying to our left; Trikey stopping, still on his feet while I got sent towards the ground, skidding across the ground until I was caught by someone.

I coughed, spitting out the dirt that had gotten into my mouth. "Ugh, the hell was that!?"

"Is Master alright?" I looked up to see Anna, her face and hair dirty, but otherwise no worse for wear.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I said, coughing some more as she helped me to my feet. "But seriously, what caused me to go flying like that?"

I heard Trikey's vicious roar, and watched him get knocked back towards us, letting out a guttural growl.

"Energy Cannon. It seems they had some still working," Anna said, her yellow eyes whirring towards a group of people surrounding a white cannon that was charging up blue energy for another shot.

"Well shit; good thing dinosaurs have an innate resistance to energy-based attacks, otherwise Trikey would be dead right now," I muttered, glancing at my newfound dinosaur friend. "Hey buddy, let Anna handle them," I suggested, and he glanced at Anna before snorting. "Hold up, she can handle herself, trust me."

Anna grew her pair of wings before zooming towards the energy cannon, avoiding a blast that exploded next to us before lifting up the cannon and smashing it down on the ground, tearing it to pieces in the process.

"See, told you," I said, getting back on Trikey.

Anna soon returned after that, and she looked up at me and frowned. "Master, do not tell me that you only thought this plan up so you could ride dinosaurs."

"What? Never, you should have more faith in me," I said sarcastically, and she frowned.

"Master sure is strange…"

"I don't wanna hear it from a girl who can turn herself into a damn weapon!"

"But that is normal?"

"Don't pose it as a damn question if you're retorting!" I sighed and glanced at the battlefield once more before I heard another vicious roar that caused me shudder. "The hell was it this time?"

"T-Rex," Anna said, pointing in the distance at a woman riding a giant T-Rex, fighting against three people.

I felt Trikey get anxious as he pawed at the ground, and I glanced at my Nymphy before calling Roberto again.

"Hey, how's the dinosaur situation looking?"

"Damnit, I can't talk right now! At this rate, we'll be overpowered by these damn things!"

"Wait, the hell!? Why didn't you tell me this sooner!?"

"I was busy dealing with a situation! And I expect you to explain yourself later Hiro!"

Shit, he found out.

"That can wait alright, I'm gonna send some help, you got that!?" I hopped off Trikey and hesitated, looking back at the giant T-Rex in the distance.

"Trikey, you're worried about your kin, right?" I felt him nudge me in response. "I see…"

I turned back to him and grinned. "Very well then, go on then, go help them out. I'll be alright, I have Anna with me now."

He let out a small squawk, and I patted his snout. "It'll be alright, take the rest of your herd and save your family. We can handle the rest here."

He let out squawk, and I let out an even bigger smile. "Don't you worry, we'll be meeting each other soon enough. Now go on, save your dinosaur brethren."

He nudged me again, giving me a lick before letting out a deafening roar, calling his herd back to him, before rampaging towards the final fight against Cyrene.

"Master, you look sad…"

I shook my head, sniffling to myself. "Nah, I'm not that sad. I'm just glad I was able to make friends with these guys."

I took a deep breath and turned to Anna. "Well, we're fighting together now, so let's hurry up and finish this operation already!"

Anna gave me a small smile. "If Master insists."

We slapped each other's hands, mine coming up top while hers came from below, and together we continued our operation…
