Traveling The Anime Multiverse As Nurarihyon

[A/N: Not really gonna write the whole death scene just be assured that the culprit was indeed truck-kun and that is all that matters]

I opened my eye's to unsurprisingly find my self in a empty space. 'I guess this is what happens when you wake up at 3:00 a.m. in the morning with a sudden craving of McDonalds and decide to go there on foot. Is this really the miserable destiny of all us big boned with a lack of self control' I thought to myself with an internal sigh.

Suddenly I hear a omnidirectional voice that rattles me to my very core.

"Setting the self deprecating inner monologue aside. I really would appreciate it if you can get your shit together so we can get over with this quickly." or so says the voice in my head.

"Soooo, I either finally lost my mind and this is just a vague interpretation of how the padded room looks like in my head OR and this is what I'm rooting for I'm about about to get and pardon my french here "ROB'd" which I'm really looking forward to."

"Well, yes that is in essence what is about to happen if you accept it. But anyway this situation seems rather impersonal so let's change the scene a little bit"

And with those words we where out of that seemingly endless white space and I find myself in a comfy old vintage looking living room with a stylish old man sitting in front facing me.

"The old part was uncalled for you little brat. Although to you humans that barely live see past one hundred anything above five hundred years old must seem ancient but I am timeless and omnipotent. Your concept of time can't even be spoken about in the same breath as me."

'Then why did you choose that form to appear in front of me you uncle.' was one of the many yet less rude thoughts that crossed my mind.

"..."

*cough *cough"I am going to purposefully act as if I can't read your thoughts for the sake of the progression of this conversation. Anyhow you've been chosen as the main candidate to help me stave of my boredom. As such I will allow you the chance to travel the multiverse with three advantages of your choice as it realistically would be foolish to chuck a couch potato such as yourself out into the places that you will be seeing without anything to up your survival rate."

"Ok, but can I ask a quick question first. Because not that I'm gonna complain or anything but why me? And are there other candidates because you said I am the "main" one."

"That's two questions but I'll answer them anyways. The first answer is there no reason at all it was random. The second one is yes and no... you see if I really wanted diversity I would most likely just take a alternate version of you. As I already have your template it would save me time out of the fraction of a second to just use "you" again rather than randomly taking another person. Reality is endless and that means there are infinite versions of you to choose from. All with minor to major differences from you. Afterall I am the only true singularity in all of existence." so declared the ROB.

"Good, I don't really mind being randomly chosen for this. But having to deal with other people in the same situation as me would just cause more random variables that I don't really want to deal with. Are you going to get involved in anyway on this journey that you're offering after you insert me?"

"No, I don't really mind viewing the story even if you only create minor differences it's not like you are the type to ignore the conflict, become a hermit and hide from the main plot if I gave you the ability to get involved and have fun there right?"

"Yup, that would be the equivalent of just watching the cutscene of a awesome video game but viewing none of the gameplay. Still good but not as great as it could be. Now, on to those three wis-... advantages can they be anything?"

"Pretty much, I am truly omnipotent and omniscient. I have been here since before reality was even a thing even if what you wish for goes against the laws of the universe that you are in, I can make it work. Don't compare me to those quacks that you've read about in fanfictions because they don't even reach my ankles!!!!"

'Wow, it seem inadvertently touched a sore nerve' I thought."I am probably going to go to more fantasy oriented verses more specifically ones with demons's and ayakashi so I'm going to choose my advantages centerd around that. It's really important to stay on brand afterall." I say and then proceed to think about what to ask for.

"Then tell me what it is that you want then" he says urging me to make my decisions.

"Hmmm, if were talking about ayakashi there is only one that I would really want to be that comes to mind and that is nurarihyon the supreme commander of all ayakashi. Or more specifically Nura Rihan fits the role perfectly for what I have in mind for the future." I said after giving it some thought.

"Okay, for my first advantage can you place me the body of Nura Rihan. But in it's absolute prime alongside perfectly merging our memories and skills without altering my personality. I feel that the experience of the head of the Nura clan that managed to even surpass his father and make it thrive even beyond it's past glory for about 400+ years is indispensable."

"Of course I can grant you that minor alteration" said the ROB.

"For my second advantage I want Kurokami Medaka's "THE END!!!" but I want a revamped version. None of the weaknesses all of the advantages. The ability to basically have any ability is way too good to pass up."

"Granted, but hurry up with the last one already so we can get started already."

"Okay, last but not least I would like to have my own hogyoku but I want to be in full control of it can't have it ditch me like it did Aizen even if I don't plan to do anything unworthy. I'm not stupid enough to keep a d.e.s.i.r.e granting orb with a will of it's own on my person if I can't control it.

"That's easy to do but with that done is there any verse you have in mind that you would like to start with." asked the ROB

"Yes, I would like to go to Inuyasha first. The beginning of the plot would be great. Other than that it doesn't really matter where exactly." I said

"Great, then with that off you go now." He said as he snapped his fingers to what I figure is for dramatic purposes.

"Wai-" and with that my conciousness fades.
