Traveling The Anime Multiverse As Nurarihyon

For yet another time I find myself waking up after suddenly blacking out. 'I wonder if that was the only way that geezer could of choosen to drop me of here. Where am I anyway?' I thought after noticing that I found myself in the middle of a forest.

Immediately after thinking that my mind jolts as I realize that new knowledge is seemingly as if out of nowhere appearing in my mind.

400+ years of yakuza badassery and yokai chivalry materializes in my head causing no sense of discomfort while it merges with me as if Nura Rihan's life was my own... or more like it is my own. I'm no longer an out of shape otaku living from paycheck to paycheck or a yokai yakuza boss serving as the successor to the supreme commander of all ayakashi. I'm something new yet at the same time remain the absolute same.

"Wow, that was a trip!!! I don't even now if it happened in an instant or if I've been standing here for days." As I voice my thoughts out loud to myself I became surprised at how smooth my voice sounded and then I remembered that shouldn't be the only change present in my body. I proceeded to look down at myself.

The first thing that I noticed is that I'm wearing Rihan's trademarked black striped green kimono with with some with cloth dr.a.p.ed over my shoulder. I also seem to be wearing some traditional japanese sandals(zōri). But I'm more surprised about the changes to my physique. In front of my eye's being swayed by the wind I find wavy black hair silky to the touch. Somewhat tanned skin that still somehow appears fair and a slim chiseled body that sincerely seems as if it was hand shaped to perfection and slightly below my pecs there I find a resting hogyoku.

"Holy crap!!!!" I sreamed, "Even when I new for a fact that the anime standards of good looks are meant to surpass reality this is just ludicrous and I still haven't even seen my face. No matter how I exercised in my previous world I would've of never reached these proportions but setting that aside it's a relief to find the hogyoku melded with my body. It would of been a hassle to carry it around in this world that has the shikon jewel in a pouch or something. If people notice it and confuse them with one another it could be problematic but I'll deal with that later.

I was so distracted by my changes and the hogyoku that I didn't notice that on my hip rested what could only be nenekirimaru. It seems that ROB decided to give me an extra bonus for self defense purposes. That's good, although with the abilities that I got have me covered I would of felt awkward without it by my side. 'This katana feels like it's a part of me.' I thought while looking at the blade.

'Now that the self inspection is over I should do what I had planned with "The end" so as not to let the ability go to waste. Although I don't really plan on abusing it that much. I rather slowly increase my number of abilities to deal with the situations in a case by case scenario. I picked this ability to have that liberty. Realistically speaking even though I love a thrill I'm not gonna place myself in a position in which I could lose my second life or the life of those around me just because it would be "boring" to be able to easily deal with a situation. I mean, just think about it, do you really think that your average joe could survive easily in any animeverse in which alien space gods with enough firepower to destroy planets, armies of ninja assassins out to kill you and near omnipotent beings that could blink an eye and atomize people are the norm.' I found myself snorting derisively

'Thank ROB that "The end" helps me prevent that from happening. This is a really really broken op ability. Using "The end" Medaka was capable of learning all type of Abnormalities and skills completely mastering them, to the extent that she could use them to one hundred and twenty percent of their capability, becoming more skilled with them than even their original owners. This ability allowed her to learn any skill quickly, from simple skills like baseball to the impossible feats performed by the strongest characters in the anime. As her Abnormality developed, Medaka became capable of learning abilities based off of information or word-of-mouth and could even copy Minuses, successfully learning abilities from only a secondhand description. However, The End did have its limits. While Medaka could learn skills that exceed her physical capabilities, she couldn't copy the physical capabilities of the original skill holder. Medaka was also unable to stop herself from learning an Abnormality when she experienced it. Another drawback was that she was unable to learn styles.'

[A/N: I now that some medaka box jargon that I didn't go into it in the info dump of the ability because I really didn't want to go into it unless absolutely necessary. If you anyone wants me to go into details about minus abilities and abnormalities leave it down in the comments.]

"Thankfully I asked ROB to give me a revamped version with non of the drawbacks. If I hadn't I would of immediately have learned every ability from every manga, novel or series that I've ever experienced. And as I said before even though I'm not some crazy thrill seeker I would like some excitement I just won't nerf myself for it." I said to myself while contemplating about what abilities to get first.

"For now I think two abilities should be enough for now and I know exactly from where to get the from. Marvel, or more like from wolverine and spiderman. A powerful healing factor and and precognitive danger sense are both useful abilities to have at this point in the game." Just as I said that... I felt it. Almost as if a switch had been flipped in my head. I knew for a fact HOW to do it and that my body now COULD do it.

"I should really pat myself in the back. I was smart enough to choose what was basically roided up version of a system and instant mastery rolled into one. Now, I should really figure out where I am and where do i have to go to meet the main cast. I really hope ROB didn't randomly drop me of in the middle of nowhere because I only said to drop me off at the beginning of the plot and didn't specify where." I say while looking from side to side out into the forest.

"Let's start an epic tale" I say with a grin on my face.
