Traveling The Anime Multiverse As Nurarihyon

[A/N: Soooo I reexamined the first two chapters and I noticed a few typos. I'm the type that has always been unable to catch them even if I look at it from top to bottom a few times and always catch them later. If anyone sees any typo don't be afraid of pointing them out or telling. I plan on correcting them on a later date.]

You know usually when I read a story and the character is gushing about about their new abilities or senses It kinda felt a little corny. Yet right now I'm experiencing what was in the past I could only kinda see on a movie or video game cut scenes. I new for a fact that anime characters could move and process info at a crazy rate but this is amazing. The only thing I think would put it into perspective is that fight in dragon ball between Krillin and master Roshi in which they were moving so fast that the regular audience couldn't see their movements so they had to explain all of their actions within that instant.

A really funny scene but also one that can be used to subtly educate the viewer as to really how fast they were moving. I took for granted that were seing it normally because were watching a show and drew a blur and said that a fight happened it wouldn't be entertaining. All the characters cutting raindrops and the background gallery going "we couldn't see them moving" and such things are being put into perspective.

The only way that I can put it in to words is that I can now see things in HD 1080p at 0.25x. Every crease and crevice of the foliage a round me is absolutely clear. I'm moving at such speeds that SHOULD in all sense create burst of wind with my every step yet the forest remains unbothered as if completely unaware of my existence.

"Amazing!!!!" I screamed in euphoria as I flash from on side to the other.

'This is great way better that skydiving pr a roller coaster. I can see the world in a way that could of only imagined possible.' I thought but good things are always cut short as I hear a deafening sound breaking me out of my childlike trance.

*BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!

I quickly make my way towards the sound at breakneck speeds as I regain my composure.

What I saw quite frankly surprised the part of me that wasn't a badass yakuza yokai. Half of me thought that I had just seen a Ōmukade swallowing a topless woman with five arms terrorizing a village and the otaku side easily recognized her as mistress centipede one of the first yokai besides Inuyasha to appear in the series.

'What to do about this situation' I thought as I sat on a branch as I pondered about my next move and examined the she yokai's "assets" in full display.

From the corner of my eye's I also catch an brutal assault on the very image of a priestess of my mind in the form of a round older lady wearing an eye patch and a very recognizable miko attire trotting along on a horse with a bow in her hands with some people also doing the same at her sides.

A little further ahead on foot there is a girl wearing a sailor uniform being chased by said yokai.

'Theres a couple of events that I'm going to have to leave the same to prevent to many unknown variables in the future and this is one of them. I don't want want to create to many waves so early on in the story and lead them towards a path I cant properly predict. I gotta play this smart and patient.' I thought as I begin to move.

Kagome's POV

'Will I be saved!? Will I? Grampa! Mom! Save me!' I thought as I ran frantically through the rice fields into the forest.

"Sombody please help me!!!!" Escapes my lips without my meaning to do it. One hour ago I found myself safe on my grandfather's shrine and now I'm running for my life from a yokai exhibitionist. 'This has to be a nightmare.' I thought as I dodged all the trees in my path trying to reach the dry well in inuyasha's forest. But somehow I find myself approaching the tree where the boy with dog ears I saw earlier is pinned by arrows as I'm sent flying though the air.

"Owch" I said and then I heard a voice and looked up.

"Hey, Kikyo! Why are you wasting time with that weakling centipede monster." 'He talked?' I though.

"You're alive?" I absentmindedly asked but he only answered my question with a bizzare statement.

"Kill her in one strike, Kikyo. Just like the time you killed me." he said.

"Huh? Don't look so dumb, Kikyo! Lost your mind already, Kikyo-san?" He keeps running his mouth about stuff I don't get and it's really starting to irk me.

"Kikyo? Kikyo??? Who the hell is this Kikyo? You listen here, my name is...-" He cuts me off and says,"She's coming."

As I turn around in notice the centipede lady coming frighteningly close at an inhuman speed. But then proceeds to get harpooned by the villagers.

"I'm safe" I say in a hushed tone and then I hear an annoying voice once again.

"Hah! Serves you right, Kikyo!" He mocks

"Hey you! Don't mistake me! I already said to you that I'm not this Kikyo!" I screamed at him once again as I walked towards him.

"Don't screw with me! What other woman besides could would give off a scent like you!... Huh?" He paused and started smelling around," you're not Kikyo." he said

"Finally! My name is Kagome! Ka-go-me!" I say to his face.

"Kikyo seemed smarter. She was also a beauty." He rudely says as he looks away.

As I'm about to insult him I feel two hands grasp me and quickly try hold on to the thing nearest to me. Which so happens to be the boys hair.

"Let go of me." I screamed to the centipede woman.

"Ouch! You let go off me!" The boy that I'm using to hold on screams back to me as I furiously hold on to his hair.

"GIVE ME THE SHIKON JEWEL!!!" Wails the centipede woman while increasing her grip.

I try to look at her and when I do I see her mouth part beyond the norm. Two elongated fangs and many other serrated one are now nearing me. I feel extremely scared.

"Stop!!!" I shout while automatically try to place my arm between me and the incoming monster as I close my eyes I felt something flow though me and then... nothing. She drops me facing forward and when I turn around to face her I see a few her arms laying on the ground.

"That's right!" I say talking to myself and start looking at my hand, "Something like this happened before in the well." But I'm surprised as my left ribcage slightly below my c.h.e.s.t begins to glow.

"Somethings shining." I say in astonishment as my mind goes blank.

The centipede woman starts rushing towards me bites me in my left ribcage and flings me in the air drawing blood and something pops out from inside my body.

"From within me... is that the shikon jewel." I say absentmindedly.

I along side the jewel tumble on the centipede woman's body and fall in front of the boy.

"Give me that jewel!!! He shouts, "Hurry!!!" He shouts again and then both of our bodies clash together as the centipede woman coils around us and tightens pinning us to the tree.

"Hohoho." she chuckles eerily, "I heard that a hanyou(half-demon) brat was after the shikon jewel. So you were the one?" she says

'A hanyou?' I thought and then look at him. 'What is he any way?' [A/N: She says answering her own question.]

"Don't look down on me Ōmukade woman." He says, "I can easily take care of someone like you... if I really get down to business." He taunted while I felt his body clenching.

"You! You're awfully arrogant! Are you strong?" I ask him

"Huh" Is the only answer I get back.

"Well, are you strong or not?" I ask sternly a second time.

"What can he do, strapped down like that?" She mocked, "He's under a powerful spell. Just stay there and watch human." she said and then swallowed the jewel with her elongated tongue.

Everyone around us starts panicking at seeing that and that she is starting to put herself back together again.

I watch as the skin instantly peels of from the former humanoid looking half of her body revealing a sick looking monstrosity along witch a screech

"Rejoice! My powers are are being restored!" The monster says gleefully.

"No more!" I let out as I feel her torso start tightening around my body but then I hear a calm voice slightly above me.

"Hey, can you pull out this arrow?"
