World Of Heroes And Legends

Chapter 25 - 24; Weird Quest

We practiced like that for two months, I busied myself in my free time by customizing my sniper and upgrading Künstliche or writing the second book, though I never had mentioned much about black holes the theory behind that is much more complex than you'd think and harder to put in words. Uriel had instructed me to train my body in the mornings and evenings and that is what I did for an hour every morning and night. That's when things began to slow down, my body got harder to move and my muscles were strained to a braking point. It's harder to train but easier to improve in this way, the more you strain your body the faster you'd improve, at least that is what everyone keeps telling me. Uriel's fist shaped in a blade hit my head and I fell down in pain.

"I think I strained my body to much." I gasped, sitting up and holding my head. I was drenched in sweat and we haven't even been practicing for an hour. Uriel bent down smiling apologetically.

"I figured as much, so today we'll take the day off. What do you want to do?" He asks.

*Ding* A blue notification screen popped up in front of me.

"Hey are you alright?" Uriel's concerned voice drifted to my ears.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask. He blinked before grinning.

"Go ahead,crazy girl." Tilting my head to the side I wondered what just went through his mind.

" Do you really think I'm the craziest person you've met so far?" I ask. He blinked rapidly.

" Ah.... yes? Why?" He asks.

My heart sank at that, sighing I rubbed the back of my head and stood up.

" Nothing. Lets go outside for the day." I say my voice sounding defeated.

Third POV;

Uriel looked at Sandy's back in confusion, wondering if he had said something wrong, he followed her into the elevator and into their suit, separating to get dressed for the day.
