Chapter 26 - 25; Carnival (Part 1)

Sandy sat in front of her computer in her room, ( Haven't been there before?) The room was wide and had all kinds of paintings on the walls, a closet sat to the right of the king sized bed, one where a person could walk in and out of. To the left was a window that revealed the city's buildings in full detail. The room was themed the ocean and had all kinds of hues of blues. One corner of the room had a small basket where Yame was currently laying with his paws in the air. Sandy typed in New York Carnivals and quickly found a carnival that looked like it would be fun in Central Park. She grinned as she sprang to her feet, grabbing her purse she rushed out of the room her hair flying. Uriel was dressed in casual clothes, khaki shorts and a flower shirt, which earned a mocking smile from Sandy. He shrugged his shoulders.

"I need to look harmless, and what's more harmless than a man that wears a flower shirt? Plus you kinda look pretty in that." Uriel says pointing towards Sandy's colourful dress. She smiled brightly and twirled around letting the dress unfurl around her and flutter around her knees showcasing her black boots. Her dress was made up of four different colours, white, blue, black and green, it looked like a painter had spilled all of these colours on her and left it just like that. But it looked beautiful just the way it is.

(Imagination would be needed, if your a painter and had made this mistake before but your work still came out good than you know what I mean. Even if it's a mess it's still pretty.)

Sandy gave a bow and answered.

"Thank you, Uriel, you look dashing, even in lilacs." She says and walked passed him and into the elevator, Uriel pushed the button for the lowest floor and looked at Sandy knowingly.

"After we did whatever you want us to, we'll be going for that flight lesson." Sandy's head swung to look him in the eyes, hers as wide as saucers.

"Afterwards? What if it goes all throughout the night?" She asks hopefully as she began to calculate and simulate various ways of avoiding the flight lesson.

"Than we'll do it tomorrow, you can't avoid this forever you know." Uriel says.

" But-" Sandy stuttered her hands fidgeting, but Uriel interrupted her.

" No buts. Fury told me that we will have a mission soon so you need that flight lesson." Uriel says. Sandy stared as realisation sinks in.

" Fury knows." She states.

"Knows what?" Uriel asks tilting his head.

"That you're an angel, doesn't he?" She asks, Uriel smiled.

"Yes he does. He also knows that we met the night before and because he thinks we got along he appointed me as your bodyguard after I asked him." Uriel says. Sandy sank in thought as different sceneries passed through her mind.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She asks.

"You didn't ask. If you had I would have told you." He answers.

" I did ask, indirectly. And you answered you came because you thought I was suicidal." Sandy retorted crossing her arms around her mid drift.

".... Because I did think you were suicidal. Fine I should have told you,Sandy." He grumbles. Sandy smiled and lightly punched his shoulder.

" No worries, I forgive you. Now let's have some fun." Sandy says as the elevators doors slid open, revealing the foyer. Thousands of heads turned to them instantly.*Snap* a camera went off and soon millions more followed it's example and took photos of the pare.

"Oh, shoot." Sandy and Uriel say in unison. Uriel grabbed Sandy's hand and rushed them through the crowd of reporters and jurnalist. They ran out of the foyer the press hot on their heels.

"Yriel! You need to speed up! We won't loose them at this rate!" Sandy yelled.

" Hold on!" He answered, he scooped her up and ran faster than a normal person should. Sandy wrapped her arms around his neck and watched as everything sped past them. They stopped in an alley, Uriel bent over panting after letting Sandy down. Sandy grinned feeling the adrenaline rushing through her veins, it felt exhilarating to her, though she doesn't like high speeds that move down she loves high speed only when it goes forward and backwards. She stretched up and smiled happily at Uriel. (Crazy side is back)

"That was fun, could you take us to Central Park?" She asks.

" You liked that?" Uriel asks surprised and confused.

"Yep, would you mind?" She asks leaning forward her eyes sparkling. He smirked and bowed, his body bent by the waist, his left arm in front of his c.h.e.s.t.

"Your wish is my command, my lady." He says, making Sandy chuckle.

"Thank you. Now let's go!" She says. Uriel turned around and bent down confusing her.

" Piggyback?" Suggested Uriel.

"You do realize I'm not a kid, right?" Sandy says recoiling at the thought of riding on his back.

" Of course, but its faster that way." Answers Uriel. Shrugging she wrapped her arms around him and then her legs, Uriel took off like a rocket the instant he felt her weight.
