Worlds Conquering Necromancer

Chapter 28 - Boss Room

Emily was in Orgug's throne room, searching for the passage to the next floor. The throne room was nothing special at all. Its walls were made from stone, which had no glass windows or window frames at least, and even the throne was made out of a stone material a little whiter than the wall ones, with the exception of two iron, orc faces installed where the hands would usually rest at. They served as a reminder to the ones coming here that the empire was governed by an orc.

'If I were Orgug, I would hide the passage to the next floor somewhere near me at all times, so it should be in his throne room. But the only thing here is the throne itself... Wait, what if...' she thought while an idea popped up in her mind.

"Hey, you!", she pointed at two guarding orcish vampires," Come here and help me move the throne."

The two looked at each other, thinking, 'Why would master want to move it? Also, why would she need our help to do this when she's so powerful?' They left those questions at the back of their minds and rushed to execute their master's wishes.

*Ugh-ghhaaaa!

They didn't expect the throne to be that hard to move, even for the both of them. Though, they managed to muster all their strength and move it backwards, inch by inch.

'So that's why master wanted to move it. Master is certainly the wisest!', they thought after seeing the secret tunnel that was under the throne.

"Thanks, guys. Go call for all the commanders to come here.", she said smiling at them.

'Ugh... That smile of her could melt even an ice troll's heart. Master is the sweetest, too!' They couldn't resist before the cuteness a loli like Emily possessed. Her hair was black as the starless night, her eyes of a bloody red color, like rubies, her skin was white as snow in contrast with her red dress, and her "out of this world" smile that makes you want to die for her. Even though she was in a body of 12-13 years girl, no man would be unaffected by her beauty, not m.a.t.u.r.e, but a pure, untainted one.

"What are you waiting for? Go already!" she said, a little annoyed. 'Why are they spacing out for? Is it my cuteness~?', she thought, 'No way, as if someone like me could be considered cute...' The fact that she had no boyfriend lowered her self esteem and raised some complexes into her.

While Emily was absorbed in her own world, the commanders were already waiting for her to speak. As commanders served one representative from each race, those were Robin representing the skeletons, because Bob had to stay at Cavetown for protection, Kate from the zombies, Bat from the lesser vampires, Glukz from the goblins and hobgoblins, Snen {Female}, the first high kobold that managed to evolve recently and Urul, the temporary orc commander. Why temporary? Because Emily wouldn't entrust the whole orc race within her forces to someone that was her enemy before, at least not before he earned her trust.

"Looks like master is once again planning for the future. Her thinking face is adorable..." said Snen, her eyes glistening and her tail swinging left and right.

"Master is always adorable, I know her the longest between those gathered he-", said Robin, but was interrupted midway.

"Stop showing off Robin, how many times do you plan on telling the same thing? We got it already.", said Glukz, slightly envious of that fact. It so happens that everybody around Emily wants to be of help and serve her full heartedly. Even Urul, who until recently considered her as an enemy, now wants to get closer to her. Emily took good care of her people, she gave them food and a house, a place to work depending on their own will, and the chance to create a family without being constantly on the run because of this world's dangers. Their loyalty knew no bounds.

"Khm-Khm." Bat coughed intentionally, trying to gain Emily's attention.

'Ugh, this Bat...' they thought.

"Oh, you're here already. I want to check the next floor, and I want to take you with me. Tell Baz he will be in command until we come back.", she said the last sentence to the guarding vampires and went towards the tunnel. "Let's go!"

The tunnel's walls were made from musty stone bricks, which gave the impression that they would pulverize at any moment. After walking for 10 minutes, they finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel. When they passed through, they entered an enormous room that was similar to an arena stage. Well, the most eye-catching thing in the room was a summoning ring in the middle, drawn with golden lines.

'I have a really bad feeling... Nah, I think too much.' Emily thought, walking into the room. After she made three steps towards the middle of the room, the summoning ring started to glow with a powerful, golden light. "I knew it! Guys, prepare to fight!"

Emily took out her bow and some arrows, ready to shoot at any moment. Robin did the same, Kate unsheathed a pair of blood daggers she got from her master, Bat flew up, ready to either shoot from his longbow or attack with a long sword. Glukz had a spear and a shield, while Snen was using a two bladed sword, similar to a staff but with a blade at each end. Urul had the cheapest equipment, as he joined recently and had no time to equip himself yet. He had heavy metal armor, a sword and a shield.

'Ups, I forgot to give him blood equipment.' she said while dashing towards Urul. "Stay still!", she shouted at the surprised orc.

'Have I done something wrong?' he asked himself. Emily stored all his armor and weapons into her inventory, took out the corpses of two spiders and started to make him new armor, a long sword, as blood weapons are lighter, and a big enough shield to protect him entirely.

"Wha-", it happened so fast that he didn't actually have time to understand what happened. In an instant, he was already clad in new equipment. He was shocked to see that his master gave him one of those light and durable equipment sets, and a green one at that. 'Master is so generous... Now I understand how she managed to win against Orgug.' he thought, with a glint of admiration and new devotion in his eyes.

Not long after, the summoning circle flashed and a giant cyclops appeared. It was a humanoid creature with a height of 4 meters, and the only thing that distinguished him from a giant human was the fact that he had only one giant eye.

*Waaarg

His scream was filled with rage and agony, as if he was suffering for eternity. 'This is the biggest monster I've ever seen. Fighting him is going to be a headache...' Emily thought.
