'Oh, God! He's talking about it as if nothing significant happened. These shameless beasts... I guess animals and monsters look different at the act of mating... That's not the point now! How come these wolves can speak?!' Emily thought.

"We are also sorry for this situation. It's just that we never thought someone would come and interrupt us in the cave, as there are no humans nearby. May we know your name, and what can we help you with?" Emily asked courteously. She already knew that those monsters were the dragon's minions, but what could they want from them?

"My name is Ananseps, but you may address me as Anan. We are the messengers and subordinates of the great and mighty Forest Dragon Zazzeos. We were ordered to meet and escort you towards our master." he said in a respectful tone.

'So that's why... Looks like we were spotted even before we knew about it, but at least we know that they weren't ordered to kill us. They must have wanted to invite us back then at night, but thought that it was not the perfect moment to interfere...'

"We understand, Sir Anan. From the start, our goal was to talk to your master. It will be a lot easier now that you would escort us. Are we departing right now?" she asked.

"Yes. Let your partner get on my back. She's a weak human girl and would just slow us otherwise."

"Allright, Ramiya. Get on Sir Anan's back. He will give you a ride." she said turning to Ramiya. Ramiya, on the other hand, was red like a tomato, most probably because of shame or excitement. "Hey, Ram." Emily pinched her shoulder, waking her up from her own world.

"Ouch, I'm listening!" she said, still in a daze.

On the way to the dragon's den, the further they went, the lusher and greener were the trees, and rarer the herbs they met. There were a lot of diverse animals and monsters, too. Those beings weren't scared of the pack of wolves at all and even looked at them with awe. "Sir Anan, you are quite the heroes, aren't you?" Emily said with a warm smile.

"You can drop the 'Sir', dear guest. You were called by our master, so there's no need for honorifics and the like. Also, we are the protectors of this forest and its residents. Even more, we are the direct subordinates of master Zazzeos, so of course they would look at us with respect and awe."

"Then you could also address us by our names. We are really thankful for your assistance on this trip." The path from the cave to the dragon wasn't a simple one. There were a lot of hidden pathways and several strong and wise monsters. It would be suicidal to try to reach the lair by their own.

"Here it is. Master is waiting for you there." he said, reaching a cave-like place made from various plants. Emily felt someone's gaze and unbelievable power seeping from within, as an incredible pressure held her in place for a moment.

"Come in...." A feminine voice resounded from within. 'It must be Zazzeos, the Forest Dragon's voice. It really exudes a magnificent power, and it seems she's a girl, too. No wonder she got so many powerful subordinates.' Emily was intrigued by Zazzeos. She really wanted to know how looked and what kind of personality had someone so powerful. Even more, it was a dragon mentioned just in myths on Earth. Being a girl of culture, she felt really excited at that moment.

In the so-called cave entered only Ramiya and Emily, and as they went through it, a totally different world appeared in front of them. Here and there were flying small beautiful fairies, or some mythical creatures like the unicorns were passing by.

"Everything is so beautiful! It's like a part of the world which wasn't ever corrupted by monsters' darkness and evilness or humanity's greed!" exclaimed Ramiya in awe.

"Yes, it is. The power a dragon posses is way higher than we could have imagined." Emily said, also in awe at the scene before her. After they walked a bit more forward, they found the Forest Dragon.

"So you are finally here, my dear guests. I was waiting for you to come here for so long." she said with a woman's voice.

'Hmm... She doesn't look like someone arrogant. I guess their arrogance was a stereotype. We've got to try to make a friendly relationship with her.' thought Emily, thinking about how to start the conversation.

"We are honored to meet you, oh mighty Forst Dragon. It is genuinely true that your territory is inhabited by the most beautiful and pure creatures of this world. And only the rarest herbs grow here, as even the cheapest one would be enough for a normal human to live more than two lives." The first to speak was Ramiya, as she started to 'suck up' to Zazzeos.

'I'll show Emmy how good I am in these negotiations. Even though I can't fight, at least I could use my other abilities!' she thought, her eyes shining with fervor.

"Interesting... A human that isn't afraid to speak to a dragon is rarely seen, as even the kings and emperors bowed to us, afraid that we would destroy them and their territories." Zazzeos said with a glint of admiration in her eyes. "What have you come here for, dear guests?"

"Dragon Zazzeos, we are here to make a deal with you. As we've got our base within the forest, we thought it would be the most intelligent move to talk with you about it. We would like to make an alliance with you, great dragon."

'Hmm... I haven't talked to humans for so long, no wander they consider me as an evil big monster. Let's change to my Human appearance.' she thought, her giant form getting smaller by the seconds, changing into a normal girl's body, just with longer ears. Her body change was a little unexpected for the girls. Somehow, she also looked like a little girl, even younger than Emily.

"Now, I invite you into my den. I hope you'll like how it looks." she said with a slight smile.

'Such a strong ally would certainly be helpful on our journey to conquer the world. I truly hope we'll manage to convince her to take our side. Who wouldn't like to befriend a powerful and cute dragon as her?...' thought Emily.
