"Duke Conanus, Marquiss Averitt, Count Roget, Count Hemon, Viscount Ferant, Baron Randall, ..., General Hemmet and General Guibert." Emily announced several names, while the people in front of her increased little by little. Soon, the crowd stopped increasing, and Emily decided to scan through them fast to see if everybody was present.

'Hmm... someone's missing.' Before she could ask Fergus who exactly was missing, Madelina whispered in her ear.

"General Hemmet didn't move from the crowd, your majesty." Now, knowing who exactly was missing, Emily ordered Madelina to point out who General Hemmet was. She went through the crowd towards a man in his early 30s, while two blood warriors followed her from behind. He was wearing a military celebratory attire, while discomfort and fear could be seen on his face.

Madelina got face to face with the general, then pointed her hand at him. The two blood warriors moved forward and decapitated the man with monstrous precision, before he could even say anything.

*Pshhhh!

A fountain of sorts splashed from his neck, coloring a big part of the crowd in red. This made the crowd panic, as cries full of fear could be heard from the nobles' wives and daughters. Even some of the younger boys shook in fear, covering behind their parents.

"Silence! You're in front of the Queen, how dare you make a ruckus put of nothing?!" shouted Fergus in an attempt to calm them down.

"Don't you ever dare to take my words lightly! Though, it doesn't really matter that he died now. All those whose names I said out are guilty for one or more of the following crimes! Assassination, murder, bribes, ****, theft, falsifications, kidnapping, children kidnapping, etc. Because of this, all of them are to be hanged tomorrow in the middle of the capital, while their families are to be carefully observed and investigated in case they are at fault for any crimes, too."

Hearing this, the men in front of her got agitated, wanting to escape this situation. Some started to plead and cry for help, salvation, that they were blackmailed and the like. Some turned aggressive and wanted to get out using force, but were incapacitated by Emily's forces. Some of those men were considered as her allies, but she decided to punish them for their crimes, no matter what.

"Guards, escort these people to the dungeon, and remember, your heads depend on weather they disappear or not." Emily ordered after it was silent once again. "The rest of you are free to go, except Count Windsor, General Cox and Sir Nathan Reed. Don't try anything funny, as your life depends on it!" Everyone left the palace in haste, wanting to run as far from the new queen as possible.

"Now then, I want to talk with you for a minute. Sir Nathan, could you possibly investigate who is going to rebel and also all the crimes the nobles have done until now?" She asked a man with looks of a twenty years old boy. He had black hair and dark violet eyes, wearing a typical black and white formal attire. He was the eyes and ears of the kingdom, being the head of the surveillance and assignations secret forces. He was the best secret agents' trainer in the whole kingdom.

"Understood, your majesty. Our agents are going to find everything in no time." he said, full of trust in his subordinates. He was supposed to investigate the Briza village case, but to Emily's luck, right before she left the village came a strong rain, which swept away most of the traces.

"General Cox, I want a detailed report on our military forces, including the training they partake in and the war against the elves, in two days at most. Also, leave the army on standby, as these first days of my reign are going to be troublesome..." The general nodded with a stern face. He was already in his 40s, so he had a lot of experience and knowledge on the battlefield and war strategies.

"Now then, leave us alone." Emily said and her two new subordinates went out. "Now then, Count Windsor, let's talk freely. No need for formalities. It just so happens that several positions are empty at the moment. Would you like to become a duke?" Emily asked, her mouth's edges rising. She understood that he was one of the last people that Ramiya hold dear, and he was also a man of truth compassion and valor. It would be a waste to leave him at a count's rank.

Count Windsor, on the other hand, wasn't expecting such a proposal. He knew the importance of such a role, and how hard it was to obtain it. Several generations have to serve the royal family faithfully, and he was proposed to become one just now. He would like to accept it, to pave a better future for his kids, and entire generations to come, but he had some worries about it, too.

"Your majesty, may I know why would you choose me for such an important position? I'm pretty sure you would find a better candidate in you looked more thoroughly through the nobles' circle. There should be some accomplished young ones, why would you choose an old man like me?"

'Good, he really is fitting for such a rank. He isn't arrogant or impulsive, he cares about his family and subordinates, and is not someone with an insatiable thirst for power.' she thought.

"Well, there are a lot of reasons why I choose you and not someone else. For now, I have seen a lot of good qualities in you. It would be great to have such a great man as a subordinate and friend... Now then, guys, you can enter." she said, looking towards the entrance. There, Ramiya and Robell came towards them. Ramiya ran towards Hussein and gave him a big hug, followed by another one from Robell.

"Uncle Hussein!" she said, tears falling down her cheeks. She finally met the only person she could name as a family since her parents died. Of course, Emily was her new family, but it was something different. Robell tried to hold back his tears, while a big, calming smile appeared on his face. Robell became more manly compared to how he was before, as he grew up training and fighting since they met Emily. He was growing into a handsome, powerful and dependable man.

Hussein just hugged them back, as his eyes were also becoming teary. He wasn't sure if he'll be able to meet them ever again. He cared about them the same way he did about his children.

"Which means you're the mysterious person who wanted to rebel, right? Thank you for offering this old man the happiness of seeing these children safe and sound. I will gladly accept your proposal and help you on the way of making a never-before seen kingdom!" he said, beaming with happiness and gratitude.
