Worlds Conquering Necromancer

"It's a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you! My name is Ecna, and I am the commander of this small group of special agents. Would you mind telling us your name?" Ecna addressed the vampire that was riding next to her, supposedly the leader of the group. She looked a bit under 20 years, with an attractive body. She had long coppery red hair which was fluttering in the wind while on horseback. Her eyes were red, the usual color for all vampires, skin white, and a pretty face which meant she was of a succubi class, as the lesser vampires generally had bigger jaws, and fangs longer than usual. That's exactly why five of the ten vampires were wearing a hood and black mask covering their lower face.

"My name is Kamra, the leader of this group. We're not nobles or something similar, so speak freely without any honorifics. Also neglect the fact that we're more powerful, as you yourself are of great help for the queen. We don't bite, so consider us as your comrades. Well, we don't bite until we're ordered to..." she said in an awkward manner.

'Does that mean you're ordered to bite people...? Nah, no way. She possibly said this jokingly. I hope so...' thought Ecna, but didn't dare to ask out loud.

"Oh, that's good then. Nice to meet you, Kamra. I hope we will learn a lot from you and your comrades!" she said enthusiastically. It wasn't every day that you could fight against stronger foes without being afraid of death. It was their chance to improve further, now that they didn't have to go on missions for some time.

"Mhm, I'm glad to meet you too. We are all comrades from now on, as we serve the same person. Just, I'd like to warn you now. The place we go to might be unusual for you lot. Just know that whatever you see and meet there are all our comrades, serving Queen Emily. Don't accidentally attack anybody, or you will pay the price..." Kamra said seriously. Even though the law about monsters was already announced in the capital, there were close to no monsters there yet. For people that were facing against them all their lives, it would be hard to not get afraid and attack them on sight.

"I understand. I will inform them about this at our next stop. I promise we won't make any trouble no matter what." 'What will we see there for us to not be able to contain ourselves?'

All this time, Henry was riding behind them, eavesdropping here and there on their conversation. He was the next in command after Ecna, as he was the second most powerful individual in the group. He was also interested in where the base is and what might be there.

The horses they used were simple ones, identical to the ones Emily has seen on Earth. Those Abel's carriage used to come to the capital were a special breed which was used only by the royalty of Vagael.

They made a stop midway on their path to Cavetown for the horses to rest. They camped there for an hour, then continued their route.

The group just entered the forest, when Kamra said, "We are entering the forest. Please, don't attack any creature, no matter what you meet. Those monsters are a part of us." she warned them and went further.

On the way to the settlement, they've met several monsters. From goblins, considered the weakest creatures, to high orcs, some nagas and lizardfolk. The nagas and lizardfolk were the newly conquered monsters in the other parts of the kingdom, while all the remaining tribes in the forest which weren't under Zeo's protection, like the spiders, kobolds and orcs were suppressed to become part of the settlement.

Not long after, they could finally see the gates and walls of Cavetown, and the soldiers on them looking in the distance, searching for any enemies there might be. When they reached the gates, they could see that the guards on the walls and at the gates weren't people, but undead skeletons and zombies. Even more, at the entrance on the other side was an enormous cyclops waiting for any intruders there might be. He was clad in blood armor and had a giant hammer which would reap people's lives like nothing on the battlefield.

Of course, meeting such a powerful foe, and even clad in blood armor which further increased the impact the humans had, some of Ecna's subordinates wanted to unsheathe their swords. As they were in the back of Ecna, she couldn't see this and stop them.

"You fools, I dare you to come forward and fight against me. Unsheathing your swords in Cavetown is prohibited for everyone except the guards and trainees on the training ground." said Cast glaring at the three guys that were at fault.

"Are you stupid? I said to not even put your hands on your weapons! What do you think you're doing?!" she berated them strongly. 'We were told this might happen, and yet these guys still managed to make problems as soon as they came! Ugh, we've finally got such a chance...'

"Ecna, don't you see this place is full of monsters?! how come you can be so calm?! And what if I really dare to come forward? Huh, big boy?" said one of them and went forward together with his other two comrades. Cast already prepared to swing his hammer when a strong voice reverberated in the air.

"Stop it, Cast. They are serving the same queen as we do, but you will surely kill them with your powerful swing. They are here to help us in the first place. Just give them some time to get used to this." said Glukz, stepping forward.

"But that doesn't mean you can show such disrespect and enmity towards us without paying a price for that. As you came here to train with us, we will organize a training tourney. Let's see how powerful you really are. All Cavetown can participate, as the battles will be one on one with several stages, with killing or dismembering prohibited." he continued his speech while walking towards Ecna.

"As you are their leader, you are the one who should accept the tourney. Will you prove your strength to all of us?" he asked when he was in front of her.

'As if I have a choice now...' she thought.

"Of course I do! And I'm terribly sorry for their behavior. I wasn't expecting them to react like this."
