A Villainess's Struggles

Chapter 50 - The Villainess's Next Step

Around a week before graduation, everyone was asking each other where they were going for middle school. From what I can tell, the majority of us are going to Nobleton Middle School.

The female lead of this comic will be appearing within 2 years and I still have not come up with a proper solution to save myself. Should I just runaway from home?

Today, I met this Jax person for the first time. When I saw him, the first word that came to mind was, "frail". The boy looked like he was going to break if you just touch him.

Henry's harsh personality is completely different from this frail boy's. I wonder how they get along...

Speaking of Henry, he's been looking like a zombie lately. I've been feeling great for the past week as I've already passed down my responsibilities. Every time I walk by Henry in the hallways, I would just tell him, "you can do it!" He'd glare at me and walk away. Freedom feels like heaven!

Around a week later, I was already sitting in the car along with my mother and brother to go to school.

"Natalie, do not be stiff when you walk" mother said.

"Yes mother, I'll do my best" I replied

When I arrived at school, I guided my family members to the place where graduation was being held in.

"Ring ring ring..." a sound came from mother's phone.

"Please excuse me" mother said as she went to take her call.

Richard and I waited for her to come back. Around a minute or two later, mother came back.

"It seems like your father will be coming" mother said.

I opened my mouth due to shock but I closed it right away before I get scolded again.

Father's coming? In his life, work > family...!

This is quite surprising.

After mother and Richard sat down on a seat, I went up onto the stage and sat where the other student council members sat.

"Can't you believe that it's already time?" Allen asked.

"Time really did go by quick. To think that after this, we will no longer be wearing this uniform" I answered.

Blake sat silently as he stared into the audience. Who is he looking at?

Our poor former president looked like he couldn't sleep at all last night. He was gripping onto a sheet that I assumed was the script for his speech.

10 minutes later, the graduation started. The teachers talked about how amazing this year's students are as if they haven't said the same thing about last years students. Around this time, I saw father walk in here.

H-He actually came!

Henry stood up to go and deliver his speech. He talked about the trips and events we had and so much more. It was a bit emotional as we won't be seeing some of the graduating students here because they will be going to a different school. While Henry was talking, I could see father constantly checking his watch. Why did he come if he's going to do that... I wouldn't have blamed him if he decided not to attend. I'm happy that he did but...

Right after Henry finished his speech, father left. We were allowed to go take pictures with our family members now.

I haven't seen Henry's mother in such a long time. She is still beautiful like always.

I also greeted Allen's mother as it has also been a while.

I took many pictures with my mother and brother. The graduation went by smoothly. That was the last day that I went to this school...

~~~~~
On the way home, I saw something that was even more shocking than ever.
I was sitting in the car looking outside the window.
Red hair, pink eyes... Her face looks really familiar...!
"STOP THE CAR!" I shouted.
I ran outside and looked towards the direction I saw her... She's gone... One thing for sure though, I saw her walking the old couple that adopts her. How could that be though? There was still at least a year until she gets adopted! Did her mother pass away earlier than she did in the comic?
I did notice that the story was changing slightly here and there but this time, the plot moved ahead on its own, without me doing anything. Did someone reincarnate into this world like me and fast forwarded the plot? Or...?
"Haha... You must be kidding me" I mumbled.
When I got back into the car, I apologized and told mother that I thought I saw a friend walking by.
The moment I got home, I rushed upstairs and looked at the book I wrote about the comic just in case I forget the story.
"Where is it... Where" I said to myself.
Ah, found it!
So I wasn't wrong. The heroine, Melia, was adopted at the end of middle school. Right now, she just graduated. Something's off here.
There must be something affecting the plot...!
