Chapter 51 - The Villainess's Favour

My brand new uniform was a light grey jacket over a white button up shirt with a maroon bow and a maroon plaid skirt. There was also the school badge on my jacket that had the logo and the words "Nobleton Middle school."

"Today is the day..." I whispered.

That's right, today is the first day of middle school for me.

I walked downstairs and greeted my mother.

"As expected of my daughter. All her beauty came from me. It was unfortunate that I wasn't able to send you to the girls private school but this is fine too" mother said.

My chauffeur was the one who drove me to school. It was in the opposite direction of my elementary school.

There were a lot of people who I assumed were high school students walking around in this area. Their uniforms didn't look expensive like mine so I guess they probably are going to a public high school near my middle school.

When I arrived, the school gave a completely different atmosphere from my elementary school. I noticed some people from my elementary school walking in the halls. The boys grew taller and their voices seem to have gone deeper over the summer break. It's already that time for them...

Where is class 1-B though?

I decided to go up the stairs but it seemed as if I was getting further away from my destination.

Before I knew it, a student approached me with a smile.

"You're in grade seven right? These are the eighth grade classrooms. Seventh grade classrooms are downstairs to the left, which is near the gyms. If you want, I can guide you" she said.

The girl in front of me had black hair and dark cyan eyes. I couldn't stop staring at her as she is so beautiful.

"T-Thank you and there is no need to! Have a great day!" I said with a bow and ran away.

What's with me and staring at ladies who are beautiful?

I went back to the first floor and followed the girl's instructions. I ended up finding my classroom.

I took a peek inside and realized that there was no one I could recognize.

Wait no.

I spot someone I recognize but we've never met before.

It's the second male lead of the comic! He is really friendly and pretty much talks to anyone. In the comic, he was the one that approaches Melia, the heroine first. He still ended up losing to Henry which was sad for those who rooted for him but it was obvious that Henry was going to win in the end...

With the plot screwed up like this, I wonder who will win this time?

I entered the classroom and looked around for a seat that did not have many people sitting around near it.

When I found a seat and sat down, a group of girls approached me.

"Hey, we want this seat. Move" The girl who stood in the centre of the group said.

...Not another one of these girls.

"Um... Miss... What's your name?" I asked with a smile.

"Huh?! You don't know Gabrielle Shelton?!" one of the girls to the side yelled out.

"Who's that...? Is she even releva-" I covered my mouth immediately before saying the last word.

Oops... I almost voiced my thoughts out!

"Hey, you with the long brown hair. Don't you think that's a bit rude?" The girl who I supposed was Gabrielle questioned.

"Yes, I apologize for my unfitting actions but don't you think you're a bit rude too?" I replied with a glare.

"Do you know who my father is?!" She glared back.

"Oh my, do you even know who the lady in front of you is?" A girl with long and blackish-blue hair said as she walked towards my side.

"May Mcbeth!" Gabrielle shouted.

They know each other?

"Long time no see, Miss Shelton" May responded with a smile.

"Long time no see? It's all your fault my boyfriend left me!" Gabrielle continued yelling.

"That boy was your boyfriend? I'm sorry to say but I do not recall doing anything. I only remember helping him out with homework once during tutoring class and that's it" May said.

"You vixen! You stole my boyfriend! You seduced him!" The girl in front of me screamed.

"Can you please close your mouth? Class is going to start" I frowned.

"Hah?! If May's on your side then you're a vixen too!" Gabrielle said to me.

"I'm going to call the principal here if you continue your insults" I sighed.

"Call him if you dare" She replied.

I grabbed my bag and was about to leave the classroom until someone grabbed my wrist.

"Let's not make trouble on the first day of school, okay?" The boy smiled.

Kyle Clarke, the second male lead.

"It's not my fault that I'm doing this" I said.

"Can you please let this go? Consider this as a request from me" Kyle insisted.

With a deep sigh, I shook his hand off and went to another seat and sat down. May sat next to me for some reason.

I took the chance to ask her, "Why did you help me?"
