A Villainess's Struggles

Just kidding. Well, I'm not really. The whole class is currently sitting in silence due to a conflict.

Of course, I knew that performances like this will never go perfectly well.

"Gabrielle's group is still refusing to cooperate?" Asked May.

"Yes. I believe that they won't give up anytime soon" I answered.

The reason why they don't want to cooperate is because of an argument between Gabrielle and the people who were dealing with the costumes that we will be wearing. If I remember correctly, it was either the colour or the design of the dress.

"So childish..." I sighed.

We ended up getting nothing done the entire day.

It was sunset and I was walking with May to the school gates. Before I said bye to May, an unfamiliar boy who was wearing a different uniform approached us. He looked a lot older.

Hmm, his uniform definitely belongs to the public high school nearby.

Before I realized it, May grabbed me and used me as a shield to hide from the high school boy.

"... May?" I whispered.

"Shhh, please chase him away for me" She whispered back.

??? Huh?

"Excuse me... Do you know who May Mcbeth is?" He asked.

W-What is happening?

"Who's that?" I asked with confidence.

"She's a seventh-grader who's about 150cm," He answered.

"She has green eyes and long navy blue hair" The boy continued.

"May also wears her uniform with a maroon vest and a black bow on her head. Just recently, she started leaving school a bit later than usual. Her car is parked a few minutes away" He described and pointed towards the direction May's car was in.

Are you kidding me? This guy is a total stalker! This is insane! I'm creeped out just by hearing him talk.

"Why are you looking for her anyways?" I asked as I crossed my arms and glared.

The boy was a bit frightened and hesitated to respond.

"I just need a short talk with her. Can you please help me look for her?" He replied.

"That's a no, please leave. You're not allowed to be here" I frowned.

"Please? It's not like I'm going to hurt her" the boy insisted.

"Leave before I call security," I said.

That was when the boy noticed that there was someone behind me. It took him one glance to realize that it was May.

"Miss Mcbeth! Please let me talk with you!" The boy said as he walked towards us.

"Get away from me!" May yelled as she tossed her bag at the guy.

"Don't do this to me, please! I won't harm you" The boy said as he picked up her bag.

This is not good, our cars are too far from here. This dude is totally insane! I need to call security right away...

"Natalie, go call someone for help! I'll be fine" May said.

"But... No nevermind, I'll go right now" I replied as I ran inside the school.

It's better if I get someone quick than only having two girls trying to fend off a grown-up boy.

The first person I saw when I ran inside the school was Kyle.

It doesn't matter who it is anymore at this point. I'm actually kind of glad that he's still in school at this time.

"Please help me out! Rather, please hurry to the school gates!" I asked as I bowed.

He looked very confused. Right after I asked for help, I ran away from him to look for an a.d.u.l.t.

Around 2 minutes later, I returned to the school gates with a teacher to witness a very comic-like scene.

"Hahaha... This must be the classic 'boy defends girl from a bad guy'" I laughed.

The teacher next to me probably thinks I'm crazy, oops...

Currently, Kyle is grabbing the high school boy by the wrist and May is standing behind him. He was defending May from the stalker.

"Over there!" I pointed towards where the boy was standing.

The teacher immediately rushed in and took the boy away.

I walked towards May and asked, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine" she responded.

"How long has this been going on for?" Kyle asked.

"It's been around two weeks now" May answered.

"Do you know who he is?" Kyle said.

"He is Gabrielle's ex-boyfriend" May sighed.

Eh?

W-Wait, so... Gabrielle's ex-boyfriend was stalking May?

"It must be scary having someone like that after you, are you sure you're okay?" Kyle frowned.

"I'm fine, trust me. Also..." May paused.

This atmosphere... This is what they call, "love is in the air." I think I should just quietly exit this scene. I don't want to be a third-wheeler, I already have my role as a villainess.

"T-Thank you for h-helping..." May said as she twirled her hair.

May, I see you. I see that faint blush!

That's right, it's time for the great Natalie to leave. Have a great day.

"You're welcome. If you need any help in the future, feel free to contact me" Kyle replied.

"Mhm... Also, my name is May Mcbeth, nice to meet you" May smiled.

"Yup, I know! You're going to be Rapunzel right?" Kyle smiled back.

After I heard that last sentence, I ran away.

I-I can't do this anymore! I want a love life too! But the only thing I get is, trouble, trouble, and more trouble! Then there's May who's on her way to having a happy love life.
