A Villainess's Struggles

I'm now in grade 2 and I have grown a bit taller. Hopefully I grow past 160cm in this life because in my past life, it was troublesome being short. Today mother received a call from Angelina's parents about Angelina wanting to go to the shopping district with me. I shook my head intensely at my mother but she responded "Of course, Natalie would be happy to!"

I walked outside of my house and saw Angelina and her car.

"Natalie! Thank you for accepting my invitation!" smiled Angelina as she wrapped her arms around my right arm.

"N-No problem" I responded.

In Angelina's car, I saw a unfamiliar person. It was a beautiful lady who looked like she was in high school. The colour of her eyes were the same as Angelina's, they were emerald green.

"Hello there, my name is Marie, I'm the sister of Angelina. Nice to meet you." smiled Marie.

She's officially my second goddess in this world!

"Hello, I'm Natalie Coldwell, nice to meet you too." I greeted.

"Isn't my sister pretty Natalie?" said Angelina.

"Yes, she really is." I responded.

"Right? When I grow up, I'm going to be like her!" Angelina declared.

Heh, in your dreams. You'll just be like me, one of those mean ladies that everyone in the comment section wants to kill.

"G-Good luck with that..." I replied.

We were driven to a place called Klireville Shopping District. There were many people there. Angelina took my hand and ran away from her maids.

"W-Wait, Angelina, where are we going?" I asked.

"Hehe, with those maids around, it won't be fun!" she responded.

We're going to get lost! We might get kidnapped! What is this girl doing?!

Angelina took me to food stores, book stores, and many others. To be honest, it was fun being with her other than the fact that she was very clingy.

The next shop Angelina took me to was a accessory store. There were many cute clips and bracelets in this store. I looked around and saw a necklace I really liked.

It was a necklace with a violet gem. Thinking about it, the colour of this gem is similar to Blake's eye colour, maybe I shouldn't buy it.

"Wow, that's a pretty necklace! If you don't want it, I'll take it" said Angelina.

"I think I'll buy it..." I answered.

I ended up buying the necklace since it was so pretty. After we got out of the shop, it was around 4:00pm.

"Angelina, I think we should go back now...right?" I asked.

Angelina looked around and replied,

"T-That's right but Angelina doesn't know the way back" with tears in her eyes.

See. I knew this would happen. Ahhhh, I should've been more careful! I tried looking around to see if there were any familiar people, and of course there was no one in this crowd of people.

I held onto Angelina's hand and tried walking from where we came from but it was hard finding the way back with the number of people here. Before I knew it, Angelina started sobbing.

"Waaah, it's all Angelina's fault, sorry!" she cried.

I patted her head and sighed. She's only in grade 2, what did I even expect from her?

Suddenly, there was a glow among the crowd. A woman with light brown hair and blue eyes approached us...

I-It was Bella!

"Are you girls okay? Wait, isn't this Natalie?" said Bella.

"Um, Mrs. Bella, we got lost" I responded.

"Don't worry, come with me" She smiled.

Wow, we were so lucky to meet her! But, next to her was our bossy Henry. He's going to grow up and become mommy's boy. I was looking at him and he looked back at me. We made eye contact...It seems like he grew a bit taller too, but I'm still taller. Eventually Henry will be a giant while I'll be a tiny mouse. Then he's going to chase after me holding handcuffs...

Bella called my mother and told her about Angelina and me. Soon, Angelina's sister and maids came to pick us up. They thanked Bella a lot. Angelina's sister looked like she was a bit mad at Angelina.

"Angel, don't do that again, okay?" said Angelina's sister.

"S-Sorry sister..." Angelina replied.

There was one thing I found shocking today, Angelina was actually referred to as 'Angel' at home but she's literally the devil...

I came home and mother scolded me.

"Do you know how worried I was? Please don't do that again! I was so close to calling the police!" yelled mother.

"I apologize, I will not do this again..." I answered.

I went upstairs and laid on my bed thinking about the events today. I wonder what the relationship was between Angelina and Natalie in the comic. They do get along well in terms of bullying the female lead.

Next time I go shopping with Angelina, I will not let her take the lead. Now I know that she's very prone to getting lost.
