Add A Little Lightning

In the last 24 hours Lightning has been studying and experimenting with her newly gained abilities. Her meetup with Ruby is the next 30 minutes but she is currently immersed in designing herself a new weapon and armour (using her creation skill). She has made numerous prototypes until now all her 'failed' attempts were placed in something called an "Inventory".

Lightning took inspiration from Ruby's [Crescent Moon], her best friends scythe/Sniper hybrid weapon. So, she made a Gunblade of her own. Her weapon could transform from a Gun which fires contrasted mana (using the holder's mana reserves as ammo) into a Blade. The blade was mostly black with neon pink trim lines go up from the top of the hilt to the tip of the blade.

The materials used to construct an item limits the effects the item can hold. The strongest material known in this world was used to make her Gunblade which gave her the addition of 2500 on each stat. Lightning opted to name the weapon [Rebirth].

Lightning vowed to herself to use these gifts to change her fate from the talentless girl she was into someone who could hold her head up high and this sword is named after her resolve.

Her new combat clothing consists of an ankle-length pink cape attached to the left side of her back and a light pink leather detachable pocket on her left leg. The black metallic shoulder guard over her left shoulder bearing pink stripes. She carries her Gunblade in a black case that hangs off her belt and wears a necklace with a lightning bolt pendant. The colour scheme followers the same design as her sword. Primary black with pink trims and accessories. (It's Lightning's Guardian Corps outfit from Final Fantasy 13 but a different colour scheme)

The armour set gives roughly 10000 to each stat.

Lightning realising the time starts her trip to meet up with Ruby so they can go to Till Dust To Dawn.

Lightning: 'I don't know if I've gone overboard in these outfits, I mean I don't really know how much each status point is in terms of ability. I should try that [Observe] skill out on an actual person for context.'

While Lightning was in deep thought, she was broken out of it by an adorable hyperactive teen waving frantically.

Ruby: LIGHT! OVER HERE!

Lightning: Were you waiting long?

Ruby: Nah, I just got here.

Lightning: 'That's definitely a lie. Oh, I know. [Telepathy]'

Ruby: (I can't tell her I've been waiting here for an hour she'll think I'm weird but there's no way I'd be late for our date)

Ruby's attention got drawn to Lightning's new weapon

Ruby: WHAT'S THAT?!

Lightning: Oh, I finished making my new outfit and sword today. So I thought I'd break them in by wearing them.

Ruby: WHAT DOES IT DO?!

Lightning: Calm down. I know you love weapons, so I'll show you.

Lightning proceeds to show how it unfolds and how it transforms from blade to gun and vice versa before putting it away.

Ruby: SO COOL! Does it have a name?

Lightning: Rebirth. Anyway, let's get going.

While Lightning and Ruby were making their way towards the shop Lightning decided to try out Observe on Ruby.

[Petal Burst] – Level 51 - move at inhuman speeds that are nearly too fast for the eye to catch leaves a trail of red rose petals.

Lightning: 'I knew she was amazing, but I never once dreamed it was this amazing. But why are her stats so low?'

Lightning went on to check all the Pedestrians and noticed compared to regular people who aren't huntresses' in training. Ruby is 5 times stronger than a 'normal' fully grown man. Whereas myself just two days ago is only slightly stronger than them but the me right now is around 7182 stronger.

Before Arriving at the shop Lightning had already Copied Ruby's skills and status. After copying Ruby's skills, she was struck with an injection of knowledge about the skills and her body seemed to 'learn' them as well.

She started to think about the last time Ruby fought in class and she could now tell every single flaw she had while using a scythe. It wasn't that Ruby was bad but in comparison to the knowledge and experience she now had it was like Ruby was a complete novice.

After the thrill of how strong these abilities were, she couldn't help but muse

Lightning: …Can I even be classed as human anymore?

Ruby: Did you say something Light?

Light: (shakes her head) Nah, just thought of something

Ruby: That's good we're here now

Ruby grabs Lightning's hand and pulls her inside with a smile and blush on her face. Lightning sees this and smiles gently at her allowing herself to be dragged.

After being dragged into the store and Ruby found the magazine in the corner of the store, she went straight to it and immersed herself completely. Even going as far as putting on deafeningly loud headphones.

Lightning seeing her friend in a world of her own decided to put on her headphones and started to read a book about Semblances which was on the same shelf.

After 15 minutes Lightning was pulled out of her trance by Ruby grasping her sleeve after removing her headphones, Lightning was alarmed by Ruby's question to the man who was now standing in front of them.

Ruby: Are you... robbing us?
